A real piece of Spain in Holland. We really were surprised by the quality and taste of the food here. Real Spanish flavours! We had the surprise menu, a bit of it all. Enjoyed it so much. To top it of the staff is super friendly, now about there job and now about their products. Keep doing what you do, keep being real Spanish!

Table for 4 People. 7pm Booking on a Saturday. On arrival only 2 tables left inside and I think 2 further tables already reserved outside. Great first impression to see a place so busy. I had been recommended La Barceloneta by some work colleagues, specifically to try the Surprise Menu (38.50). We were not disappointed. The surprise menu came with a total of 4 rounds of food, each of which had 5 different dishes, including a dessert round also which is definitely one for those who like it rich! I would have to say that the speed of delivery/ service of these rounds was pretty spot on. Do not expect to go in and be fed quickly in this method. I would say there was a wait time of 45 minutes between rounds. This break was very welcome as it meant you can prepare some more space for the following rounds!! The servers are attentive and, between the various staff members, could speak English, Spanish and Dutch. We spent about 3 1/2 hours in there but at no point felt like we had excessive waits or overstayed our welcome. If i had to critique one thing i would say that the price of a jug of Sangria is a bit top heavy. We will most definitely be going back. "I dont like food, I love it" BB

You can eat there good. Nice place with a lot of tapas. Go and enjoy. By the way- white sangria was delicious.

Like always, delicious food and excellent service! I love the surprise menu and the great Paella! And so nice that the kids can play outside on the playground while we can have an eye on them from the window! 🙂

One of the most warming owners! Loved the food and they got something for everyone! They love their customers and really put their hearts out to make them happy. I highly recommend going here as it is an adventure on its own.

If you want to try authentic and delicious Spanish tapas this is the place to be. You will be served by the most friendly owner/manager and team. On top of that if you love/appreciate or simply know the Spanish culture, this place will really make you feel at home. In the last two months I have been there four times. Can't wait to go back!

Very friendly people with Colombian and Spanish roots. Sitting on the terrace we enjoyed a great meal. We took the surprise menu and really liked it.

This place is out of the centre and thus avoiding the crowd and can be considered a hidden gem! The food is authentic Spanish and absolutely marvelous. The service is on point and very friendly! The atmosphere is simply awesome. You'll leave here with a smile, that is a guaranteed. The surprise menu is a big recommendation!

This place makes the visitor happy. If you're smiling from the first zip of the sangria apréritif through 3 superb courses of tapas until the excellent desert, there must be something special. But it's not only about the food here. Owners and staff are so pleasant and acommodating and their restaurant is like home. Thanks for having us !
