Of my summer travels in Europe Townhouse hotel has been my favorite—and just a block from the Maastricht station: the bathtub in my room is a real treat, the complimentary soup & teas/coffees in the “living room” aka lobby, and the chill vibe the staff has is unique! This is a hotel of the future in an old-fashioned way. I will actively seek these hotels out—i heard there is one in Amsterdam or soon will be.

Only stayed for the one night as just passing through but definitely could have stayed longer. The room was very spacious considering the price and exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the location is perfect. I would say, if you are driving there is a Q park around 4 minutes drive away which you can park in for cheaper and longer than the hotel offers. We had reserved parking with the hotel for €17 but then were told we’d need to leave by 11am the following day, which didn’t give us much time to explore Maastricht. The Q park was €16 for 24 hours parking!

Lovely Front Office staff. Breakfast 10/10. The room was well cleaned, soundproof, the bathroom spacious and the bed comfortable. For the business guests will be helpful the good Wi-Fi connection and the desk directly situated in the room. If you wanna assure yourself a unique stay in Maastricht, choose LBG hotels especially Townhouse Design Hotel for his proximity to the train station. For treat yourself like a king/queen they also offer spa and gym service. 100% recommended :)

Immediately close to the station but no noise at all! Very accomodating staff who spoke perfect English (we spoke to 4 members, all brilliant) and helped us with everything. The atmosphere was immaculate, they had endless free tea and coffee and a spa on site. Breakfast a little expensive, but much cheaper alternatives in a very short walking distance. Price of the room was very reasonable for the facilities on offer!

Adalisa checked us into the hotel and was an absolute delight. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure our stay was perfect. Despite being understaffed during Carnival, she was on top of everything. The welcome glass of champagne and teacup of soup was charming and made us feel right at home when we arrived. If you’re in Maastricht over Carnival, this is a great spot because it’s close to the train and very close walking distance to the festivities, but much quieter in the evening than being on the other side of the water. We would love to stay here again :)

What a delightful hotel. The people are so kind and warm. They genuinely want to help you. The living room/dining area downstairs is very thoughtfully designed, with a warmth similar to a home. They have nicely laid out food offerings, especially in the morning for breakfast. There is a fireplace, some board games, books. It's very warm and homey. They also have an easy self check in or out if you desire. The rooms are cozy and tasteful. The bed and pillows are great, the temperature controls are very good. the ONLY concern is the half shower glass which I always find puzzling. The hotel was noticeably quiet as well, which is conducive to a good night's sleep. I would strongly recommend the hotel. I would also strongly recommend reading the plaque on the inside of the room and check into having the goldfish stay with you. Really enjoyed my stay.

I’ve stayed in this hotel in the past, and found it ok … But it is more and more apparent that the service in this hotel is not always good. Their website states: “Upon arrival you will be welcomed with a warm cup of homemade soup.” Oh, delicious! As long as you are not a vegetarian or vegan, because the Townhouse does not take people into consideration who are vegetarian or vegan. Their "warm homemade soup" is always made with chicken broth. Not suitable for vegetarians and vegans. So stay away from this hotel if you don't want to feel discriminated against. And it’s questionable if they even provide guests with soya milk or other plant milk, as was the case in the past.

Very nice hotel! The stuff was super friendly, the common room in the first floor was great, walking distant to the old city and less than 10 minutes from the train station. The room and the shower was super clean. The hotel very environmental friendly, offering to plant a tree for every day you are there and won't ask for cleaning of the room. Thanks for the great and welcoming stay in Maastricht!

Nice small hotel close to the Maastricht main train station and close to downtown. Comfortable and nice setting. Rooms are OK , bed comfortable, bathroom rather small. Breakfast area very cosy and nice. Garage is just on the other side of the street but you need to book it upfront.

Stayed for two nights. Superb location in close proximity to the central train station. Rooms are spacious and clean, only thing we found odd is that you can’t use the electricity in the washroom unless you plug in your room key which is pretty inconvenient if you have only one key and someone leaves the room.

Good hotel next to the train station. There was enormous rain so all windows and the airco leaked. The windows are not sound proofed which is noisy at night to the stations side. Nice living, free coffee or tea.

I booked an apartment 8 months in advance, On arrival i was downgraded to a hotel room across the road with no offer of financial compensation. It was a loft room with a velux window and no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.We were charged the same and basically told to take it or leave it. We would have gone elsewhere but all other hotels were fully booked. Not what was expected or what we paid for. Beware

Great hotel, we walked in of the street as we decided to stay for the night. The staff were very helpful and booked us in with no problem. Nice quiet room . Comfortable bed and very clean and modern. The free coffee / tea ,soup were a first for me and very welcome. Breakfast was great, bacon, eggs and lots of cold slices of meat and cheese. The music was straight out of my 80/90s hitlist. Loved it. I will definitely stay again.

Fun place to stay in Maastricht. Perfectly located, rooms are small-simple but absolutely all you need. Guest meet at large tables in the “restaurant” area instead of sitting on small, private tables - easy to get connected with interesting people.

The hotel was kinda expensive for the room that we got. Besides that the room was clean and had a nice view. The staff was kind and the location was great. Next to the railway station but without any loud noises from it.

Not so flexible and straight ahead. During check in the lady informed us that breakfast will be until 12:00 on Sunday but check out for the room must be at 11:00.Our wish and kind request if we could stay in the room 1 hour more on complimentary basis until 12:00... negative ... no flexibility.. the company philosophy is strict. the 1 hour late check out fee 11:00-12:00 charge should be 24,00 euro . For us not in balance. breakfast end =check out time. we canceled the breakfast for 24,00 euro in the hotel directly and dined the 1 hour late check out for another fee of 24,00 Euro. and will have a lovely one outside.

The hotel is close to Maastricht train station, very convenient. Rooms are clean, maybe too small the simple ones. Breakfast is very good and the front desk personnel is very kind and helpful. I stay there while I go to work to the office and will continue to be there. very recommendable.

Very cozy hotel in a perfect location! All shops and most activities were walking distance. The staff was lovely and the breakfast and food is delicious! Definitely worth another stay!

Did not really enjoy the stay in hotel. My mattress was horrible, which made me waking up in the middle of the night. Interior is old and dirty and definitely need to be renewed.

A very friendly atmosphere, everything taken care of down to the last detail. An unexpected birthday present, flexibility with the hours of the parking garage, unbelievably fresh and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to pamper themselves and feel at home.

Nice hotel, perfect location, friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfy. Could have been a bit cleaner. Weekend prices are double as weekday. Wouldn't pay the weekend price for this room.

I had to stayed here when train systems shut down and staff was quite friendly. They kept me informed constantly about the situation. Also they provided a cozy room and mostly I found everything I need. Pretty good experience for a short stay.

There is a cozy bar with good beer in this hotel. Treated me like a troublemaker because I came through the open door with the hostel, but only after they had my money. All money is equal here, but not the customers.

Great place to stay! wonderful stuff, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was one of the best I had in the Netherland. room was just great. The only down side is the elevator, a little slow but works well!

Room was nice. Staff took care of some problems with my booking in a very good way. Extra plus for the reception and bar being open 24/7. Maybe breakfast was a bit expensive.

Booked a room directly at the hotel website to get a matching price compared to hotels.com. The room was so little that the suitcase had to be placed in the bed, thank good I was alone. Breakfast and service was good.
