The Student Hotel is very well located near to the center of Maastricht. The room is comfortable with a modern decoration. It was really pleasant to stay at the Student Hotel to discover all the different sides of Maastricht : the various architecture, the cobblestone streets, the market, the restaurants and the way of life in bike.

The automate will give you coffee with extra sugar when you order a snickers. Beware of the scam. UPDATE they gave me 2 snickers, they deserve 10 stars

Liked the place and the vibes! It is an amazing place. Many university students and young adventurers. Quite active through day and night but not noisy, if you want your privacy and relax you just move to your room, make sure to have it from the third floor up!

Super friendly and welcoming staff, very clean, the gym is great, and the design is really cool as well. To top it all off the amenities are juste super well thought and the location just perfect to visit everything just walking, and yet it is in a calm area. Will book again !

Great location. Well maintained. Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Quite a few in-room amenities. Decent breakfast, could be better. Loads of options like pool, foosball, etc. to relax and chill with your fellow travelers or strangers. One star deduction for the sub-par kitchen equipment in the room. The kettle has so much scaling that even after washing twice, we decided to use the microwave to boil some water.

Good basic+ hotel, Good size rooms. Nice vibe of people. Central and good restaurants nearby. Large public parking behind the hotel.

We were informed about the availability of 71 rooms, but wenn we wanted to book 50 rooms for 2 nights that was nog possible. Not more than 20 rooms was possible according to them. They apparently don't want larger groups. Would have bin great if that was on their website! So not a hotel to advice for groups!

I was a bit skeptical first since I was not sure if this place was only for students and if it would be good for a couple or a family. The place surprised for sure. The room was just perfect. A working kitchen, high ceiling, all the amenities and of course a written welcome note from the staff. It has pretty much everything you’d need. They management understands the clients and have put everything in there to make you comfortable. I’ll visit you guys again!

This hotel which is partly reserved for student housing, is a great place to stay in Maastricht. The location next to the centre is fantastic and the rooms are very quiet. There is a big parking behind the hotel but it is expensive. The experience would be better if there was a cheaper way to park offered by the hotel and some reserved places.

I’ve stayed in many hotels, and this might just be my favourite! Great vibe, lovely staff, rooms are really nice. We had a little kitchen with full size fridge. Will stay here again in the summer when we come back.

The reason why I will keep coming back… During one of my stays at the Social Hub Maastricht (last november) I had mentioned a thing that had gone wrong with housekeeping. The staff took it very seriously and did all they could to make up with me. They kept on checking in with me if everything was okay and the next time I stayed at the Social Hub they even remembered that is was my birthday! And this is what I walked into… A room full of balloons, party flutes and chocolate!! 😍😍 So here’s a shout out to Morris (for this great action), to Matthew (for the always good vibes & remembering that it was my birthday) and to Shania and her team for the sparkling clean room! ✨ 🎈❤️🎈❤️🎈❤️🎈 Thanks so much guys for making my stay unforgettable & 100% relaxed everytime I stay at The Social Hub Maastricht! I’ll be back again and again and again…

We spend here over 1,5 week and it’s been absolutely amazing experience. Hotel is cool, contemporary and beautifully designed. The team is just phenomenal, special Thanks to Marco. He assisted us through entire our stay and been a great help. We are very much looking forward to come back again. Much love from EF team 💫 P.S: felt in love with little design items ( they all sadly had to stay in the room😁)

For a radiotherapie treatment I decided to rent a studio at the Social Hub for 6 weeks. And I'm super glad I did! Firstly: the hotel looks cool, it's really close to the city centrum and it has a nice atmosphere. But second: the staff is soooo friendly, helpfull and sweet! I would really recommend this hotel to others!

This hotel is in a great location close to parking, only a 5min walk from the center, next door to the theater, and nearby several nice restaurants/bars. Check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fairly priced for a Friday, very clean and modern, and offered a great view of the

Don’t look any further when you’re up for a fun place, great service and a fantastic bed! TSH is a great example for nowadays hospitality; personal yet professional, eye for details and good price-quality ratio… we will be back!

Nice Rooms, Inspiring atmosphere with Students and Professionals. Service was OK. Coffeemaschine in the meeting rooms were under-dimensioned. However I like the sustainable ideas like the water- and energy counter in the shower. Come to meet and work.

Great hotel with an interesting set-up, liked this postindustrial feeling to it and the "community" bit. Breakfast is a bit expensive in my view. Location of hotel is great and the fact that you have plenty of parking space.

August 2023 This is a really nice hotel. Social Hub is indeed a good name for this place. Lot's of details, really need to have a good look around. Well situated, easy to parc your car. Nice area within walking distance of the city. Great and attending staff. Easy check in and check out.

Great hotel, very clean and well run. Rooftop restaurant has a great selection of food and drinks. Would definitely return 👍 my only suggestion would be to have a mini fridge in the room. The rooms don’t have one.

A place where the staff clearly cares more about themselves than about the guests. Above all, the place wants to be cool. The cutlery and crockery in the breakfast room is poorly washed and has sticky food residue. Disgusting! Several buttons in the elevator are broken., forcing guests to reach into the raw wires to dial the floor. Life threatening! (BTW this is the only elevator working. Others are broken over days...). The staff at check-in is straight out of satire. They have no problem making guests wait an hour at midnight for the room key. "It's the protocol" Like in a horror movie. But they always smile and don't care about their customers' smiles. Hey, what are we young and cool! Just take people's money and laugh ;-) Hahaha. Dont' ever go there! It's a trap!

This is Pamela, from room 305. It is first time to stay at The Student Hotel. I super enjoyed my experience at the hotel. Everyone, including the guests, is so polite, cool and amazing to be around with. The staff is so kind, from reception to housekeeping. I can't wait to try The Student Hotel again. I love the concept, so "not boring", very creative and cool vibes. From me and my mother (who enjoyed being my guest sometimes), you have best feeback. We had an amazing experience! Continue right be so cool, original, innovative and excellent!

The location of the hotel is excellent. Just a 5 minute stroll to the Markt. Parking behind the building is easily accessible, affordable (€ 14 per day) and plenty of space. The hotel itself is big and has plenty of amenities. The Commons is always a nice place to chill out and the Bold rooftopbar (unfortunately closed in December due to COVID) is a top spot. Would definitely recommend staying here. Room I had was spacious (studio) and comfortable. Beds are a tad firm, but that's up to personal preference in every case. Didn't have a bad night sleep at all. View from the 7th floor is great!

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and fine location. The rooms are clean but a bit noisy. Breakfast is not really extensive but okay.

I love the vibe and the facilities. Great location, the cafe and organic grocery store nearby were additional pluses. Love the rooftop bar. 10 - 15 min walk to central forum. Will definitely be back here!

Great vibe and fun place to be. With a big parking nearby and on a less than 5 minute walking distance from the center. The roof top bar Bold is great for a cocktail with a nice view!

Amazing hotel for yng and old, as well as small families. Great reception service . The rooms are stylish but at the same time minimalistic

I went to the co-work/study space and it was very big with plenty of spaces to sit at tables or lay down to be more comfortable. Is not too loud so is good for calls as well. They have a coffee shop with beverages and snacks to spend the day. Very recommended!

Hands down the best hotel we've ever been to. The atmosphere is great, the open view out of the windows never bored us, but the very best thing about this place are the people. They made us feel so much at home that they actually lived up to the promise that 'you never want to leave'. They know we mean it :) Thanks for everything! Lonneke and Anne

If you're gonna stay in Maastricht then The Student Hotel is the place to be. Minutes walking distance from the centre and cinema, concerthall, restaurants and club around the corner. Situated in a beautiful old factory building. Very friendly people, rooftop bar, nice rooms, good food & drinks.... Everything you want (even a pingpong table).

The concept of this hotel is absolutely amazing. Basically it has everything a student might need. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was clean and the design of the whole place was very neat. My only observation is regarding the breakfast which became a bit monotonous throughout the week. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and I can confidently recommend it to any young traveler in the city.

Great stay and staff. Nothing much to fault except the price point is a bit high compared to other hotels that were closer to the centre and slightly cheaper or equivalent. The rooftop bar was amazing. Breakfast for 12.50 could be improved the selection was a bit narrow and seemed comparable to the free breakfast I got at hostels which is weird since this wasn’t a strict hostel and we had to pay 12.50. If the breakfast was improved I would consider a 5 star. Great stay nevertheless

In the old Spinx Porcelain buildings they student hotel is now a fixture. Everything you expect from a student hotel plus an awesome bar on the rooftop for those warm nights with cocktails. The city Center is a leisurely 10 min walk away. Not one but two cinemas at less than 1 minute plus some home shopping.

Worst experience of my life in a hotel! I reserved an extended stay for 1 month. First of all the cleaning service was useless. Second of all, I had my branded sunglasses and belt taken, but none cared that much. The icing on the cake, when we checked out we found out that they have extended our reservation for another month without confirmation, demanding the payment. Lack of professionalism and customer care.

Love living here. The atmosphere and amenities are impeccable. The staff is great but Raphaël from tech is pretty cool. :) Would highly recommend staying here.

I've toured a large part of the globe and can honestly say my stay at the Student Hotel In Maastricht tops all my accomodation experiences thus far! The breakfast is great, the rooms are quiet and comfortable and have everything you may need. The gym is open 24h which is a big plus! The best part of my stay is the staff and how welcoming and accommodating they are! Big thanks to everyone working here! Special mention to Raphael who helped me solve my bike issue!

Good rooms with an amazing communal space. Close to the centre and a great cocktail bar. Just bring cash if you want to play pool.

Might be OK for a short stay in the city but bear in mind that they will never clean your room (even if they promise to once a week). You will have to fight to even get the towels changed.. the pictures I uploaded were taken right after housekeeping "cleaned" the bathroom for a second time after I complained

We asked for a second duvet in the double room when we arrived. When we entered the room, the second duvet was on the bed without a cover, the cover was just lying next to it. We are of the opinion that this minimal service should be ensured at the price level of the TSH and that the guest should not have to make up his own bed. Furthermore, it would be helpful to point out possible events in the house - especially with high noise pollution - when booking. We were not very pleased that on 08.10.2022 when we arrived there was already an extreme noise level in the lobby area, so that communication at check-in was extremely difficult. Furthermore, the location of our room was very unfortunate in this respect because the bass of the music continued into the beds and sleep was almost unthinkable. We will therefore not return to the TSH in the future and will choose other hotels for all future visits to Maastricht. Unfortunately!

Very cosy hotel close to the city center. 5-10 min walk. Room was clean and big! Very helpful staff. Big parking place right outside of the hotel.

Great hotel different from most others we have stayed at. Original, the staff are genuinely friendly and fun. The fun starts at reception - spin the wheel! We asked for extra pillows even though they provided 2 per person as standard. Super cool room, very comfortable bed, quality sleep, industrial size room with nice views. The facilities and location to the center were ideal.
