Strategically situated hotel. Just a road cross opposite Maastricht Central Train Station. Walkable to the river front and a good central shopping place. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is designed to be really genius. Very small rooms but convenient and full of amenities. Not even a single inch space wasted. At the price offered to me I cannot ask for more than what was offered. Wall paint inside rooms are vibrant and feels fully energetic. Aircon was working good without any sound and the toilet was exceptionally clean. Provide 2 sets of bathing and hand towels. I enjoyed my stay at this nice, clean and cosy hotel. I would recommend to stay here if you need to travel via Maastricht Train Station.

A place located opposite the Maastricht train station is simply and soberly furnished with very modern furniture , the rooms and the showers are irreproachable . The staff is very gentle .

We were so pleased that we booked the Kaboom Hotel, especially as it was just across the road from the Railway Station. A very comfortable and quiet room with all facilities, although the safe, if used, was actually on the floor! Very friendly staff and reception.

Great location next to the train station and a 5-10 minute walk to the center. The room was clean as long as you don't look too much into the details (stains on the black and white wallpaper that are hard to spot or some small lint particles in the bed.) The biggest problem with my room was the AC. It's constantly making weird noises. When on, the noises are louder, but the room is barely warm. When it's off, it still makes noises, but it's not as loud at the cost of a cold room. Both cases make it hard to sleep. If you can't get a good night's rest in a hotel, then what are you paying for?

No-frills hotel. No bar. Roof terrace uninviting in winter! No mini-bar; but Spar shop around the corner has a good range of food and snacks. Very close to the main station. Surprisingly quiet - good acoustic insulation. Shower OK - door sticking. I liked that you can contact the 24-hr reception via WhatsApp - I used this to report the sticking bathroom door. Parking in nearby Q park worked well, but not cheap. Breakfast adequate.

The room wasn't as hygiene as I anticipated. Especially the toilet (and towels) was little bit off. Other than that it's pretty decent for the price. The location is very good and it's surprisingly quiet at night (even though it's right next to the train station).

We stayed two nights at Kaboom. Location is great, beds were comfortable and staff was friendly, but the design was driving me insane. There's so much text everywhere - you cannot climb a stair or open a door without reading a whole bunch of signs. As such, the signs that actually matter are hardly noticeable. Numbers to your room for instance are "playfully" jumbled up, which makes it super confusing. Instruction on how to get on their WiFi were super confusing - the password was given but spelled in upper case, though the password actually is in lower case... The room didn't have a clock, but an empty clock only saying "stop watching enjoy your stay". Not helpful. The tiles in the bathroom are at a 45º angle, giving you weird vertigo when you take a shower. And yet more text everywhere. Breakfast is basic at best - there are not many options for vegan visitors except for basic bread and jam. It's also a very small room for the whole hotel, which means that tables need to be shared with other guests (not something I look forward to early in the morning). And yet more pointless texts on walls and doors. The most annoying thing however was their coffee maker: there is one in the room, but there are no capsules for it. You can get two for free, but if you want more coffee you will need to purchase them at €1.50 each. This seems ridiculous and really cheap especially since this is by no means a cheap hotel. If you would find yourself at this hotel, make sure to stay away from rooms facing the main road as there is hardly any insulation and you can hear everything on the road. We were really lucky that it was fairly quiet on the days we were there but I definitely wouldn't like to have stayed there during a busy weekend.

We cannot recommend this place and will not be coming back! Positive: The location was good and the staff were mostly friendly. There was a nice handwritten note in our room upon arrival. Negative: Overall, our stay here was very disappointing. The hotel is way (!!!) too expensive for what it is. We paid 400€ for one room for two nights. The first room we moved into wasn't cleaned properly (see photos). It was in no condition to present to guests. (bad odor, dust, leaking shower, wallpaper coming off the walls etc.). Also, it looked different than in the pictures. The staff then moved us to a different room the next day, which was passable - still not worth 200€ per night!!! The rooms are not very cozy and the beds uncomfortable. All in all, the hotel is in need of some updating. It might have been "modern" when first opened but is not anymore. Staff are friendly overall, but also a bit strange in handling guests - for example, when we asked we were denied a second room key without reason given. The breakfast was mediocre at best. You have to go out of the hotel around the corner to a very small room with less than 10 tables for all the guests. Be prepared to have to wait for a table and to have to share with other people (in our case some rude French people). Choices are very limited. For example there is no non-dairy milk options for coffee. Very strange nowadays especially in a hotel that charges 200€ per night. We cannot recommend this place and will not be coming back!

The 4 person rooms are perfect when you look for good quality, comfortable stay at an affordable price. Also, a terrace is pretty useful when you want to spend a private evening with your travel companion in a less official setting :)

The hotel is right across the Maastricht railway station, and a brief walk towards the city center making it an ideal hotel for the right price for the solo-traveler. I paid around 180 or so euro for 2 nights. Location is great, staff is amazing and very friendly. Be aware that some staff don't speak Dutch at all, but this was not a problem at all for me (since I am Dutch myself but speak English as well) The interior of the design however, is all over the place and 'in your face', especially the wallpaper feels like that in your hotel room. With a lot of unnessecary text, it felt more like indirect rules thrown at your face rather than to relax in the hotel and in your hotelroom. The bed and pillows where amazing. However, it can be noisy here and there in the hotel sometimes. Breakfast was standard and okay, nothing too special. The coffee, for me the most important thing in a breakfast, however is not I would recommend. It tasted more like water, and you only get a half cup full. Would I go back here? Maybe for one night, and if my budget is low for the next vacation trip.

Small, expensive (300/night) and dirty room. Brown smears on the wall, hairs in the sink, stains on the bed, lousy view. Friendly staff, lousy and expensive rooms that are better suitable for youth hostels

Excellent hotel right opposite the railway station. Rooms are quirky and clean and the beds comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. Right next to Dadawan restaurant which is definitely worth a visit and a cafe which serves good coffee.

Nice and clean hotel by the train station. A good ten minute walk from the center. Rooms where clean but front facing room are a bit noisy at times from the street. Air con in one of the rooms we got made noises both when on and off.

The hotel is OK, with a good location. But if you want a good night's sleep, you will not find it here. I was in a very noisy room, with the air conditioning making a rattling noise every so often even when it wasn't on. You can also hear every sound from the rooms around it, like things are being moved over the floor. It starts around 6 am (if not earlier) and it doesn't stop. I had the worst 2 nights here, and usually I'm a good sleeper.

This hotel is located just opposite of the Maastricht train station. Easy to find as it’s situated in a prime location. Rooms are specious, neat and clean, well decorated, well organised. All basic requirements are in the rooms. Toilets are very clean and have everything. Centrally control heating and cooling systems are there. Every room as well as lifts have modern safety control lock. Stuffs are very helpful. Breakfast options are average. It’s upto you that you may or may not like the breakfast. Overall in holiday season like summer or weekends it may be a bit costlier but other days you may get in a cheaper price.

What you see is what you get, they give you what they offer. Best is the location, almost dead centre Maastricht. Easy walk to restaurants, bars, shops. If you can afford it, stay here. Laundry service, iron on request, they will even polish your shoes whilst you're sleeping.

Amazing location right by the central station, and very friendly staff! The beds were very comfortable, and the room had everything I needed. Fun detail; you can rent a stick insect in a special box for one night in your room. I've never seen this before; really quirky and fun! Breakfast was also nice; it had everything I needed and there also the team was very nice. I can definitely recommend this hotel; has great value for money.

The hotel was a comfortable stay for when we stranded in maastricht because the trains wouldn't ride anymore. The owner was very friendly and helped us with our luggage even though it was 1 AM and any other hotel wouldn't let us stay because they won't do walk ins. The room was very big and you could open the windows with is very nice because we didn't have that fir another 4 days in our hotel in Amsterdam. Overall amazing hotel & service - The girls from room 126 on the night of March 16th <3

We were a group of 20 people. The check-in/out was smooth. The rooms were just perfect. The location of the hotel is exceptionally good! Right in front of the station and very close to the city centre. The chill zone (outdoor lounge) is a great place to sit and have conversations. Overall, a very good experience staying at Kaboom! Thank you to the staff.

Great location. Just across the street from the main station and right at the corner of the most busiest street in Maastricht. Everything is close by and within a couple of mins walk. Rooms wise, not as expected at all. Very basic room with poor lighting and almost no amenities. Breakfast wasn’t any better either. Honestly speaking, there are a lot of better options within the same area with the same or even cheaper rates.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, right in front of maastricht station. Quality/money rating is not good, it’s a bit too expensive for what you get. Self service, no bar or other facilities. Its very noisy. when they are cleaning rooms next to yours you hear everyting very hard for example (thin walls).

The hotel is at a fantastic location in Maastricht and it offered the best price on the Sunday night we visited. My best experience there was that we can borrow LEGO free of charge at the reception! (I never had this experience in before). We stayed in a room for two person. We notify a problem of lighting and the reception let us changed to a new room. I like the material of the floor, very comfortable. However, the reason I don't give a five star is that in the new room, there was some sticky things on the floor by the desk (probably previous guest dropped some juice and dry). Due to the colorful pattern of the floor, it's hard to see that sticky spot. And that's probably the reason the spot was not been cleaned.

Stayed here for one night. Beautiful room, it was clean modern and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely pick this hotel again also due to being very close to the train station!

We had a one night stay at Kaboom. The room was fine for the price. It was clean and the temperature was also ok. The breakfast at Alex (30 meters from the hotel) was perfect! I haven't given 5 stars due to the noise in the night. This hotel attracts younger people, who also make quite some noise at 2:00 am. Shouting, singing, banging on the walls. Even with having a 24 hour reception, such circumstances can happen. But it is keeping other guests out of their sleep.

Excellent, clean room, completely noise isolated... I will definitively repeat. Nice decoration in the room. I didnt try the breakfast because I considered too expensive. They have a machine to speed the check in and check out. Worked well.

Excellent location, just seconds from Maastricht Station, lots of restaurants nearby and a nice walk to the centre. I requested a quiet room which overlooked the courtyard and was very peaceful. I did unfortunately hear the person snoring in the next room but some earplugs quickly removed that disturbance. I also found the AC unit very noisy but as it was very cold outside I switched it off and had no further problems. The room itself is very nicely decorated, a good size, very clean, a large TV and comfortable bed. Safety deposit box was very welcome, and power sockets in good locations next to the bed and by the desk. The bathroom was a good size with amazing rain shower and complimentary toiletries. The check in and check out was quick and easy, and staff were helpful and welcoming. Excellent value for the price, I will definitely stay here again.
