The location of the hotel is perfect for people who want to stay in the city center. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, we were not able to find the parking the hotel suggests (there is another parking just infront of the hotel which is much easier to access). Pillows are very, very soft and they are the only option of pillows we had in our room. The entrance and reception of the hotel is very nice and „prestige“. The rooms are also very nice but they only seem to be high quality. The bathroom of one of our rooms was contaminated with mold (schimmel, moisissure). The very high price of this hotel is because of its location. I think, with a price that high, the hotel should offer their clients at least the entrance to the spa.

Beautifully located in front of the Vrijthof and the terrasses, the double room was very quiet and just perfect for a couple. The staff were very accommodating and nice. It was the perfect place for a couple retreat and to visit Maastricht. Highly recommend !

Maison Haas Hustinx & Spa offers an exceptional experience in the city heart of Maastricht. Warm welcome, nice rooms, great service & beautifully designed SPA, which is quite impressive! We loved our stay & can fully recommend. Wasn‘t our last time to visit. Thanks so much!

This property provided a mixed experience. I had thought I booked adjoining rooms and when I arrived, I was told that I hadn’t. No help was given and the desk person was quite direct and uninterested in finding a solution. My friend moved rooms every night in order to stay in the hotel together. I found the staff overly “direct” to the point of rudeness and total lack of customer care. The same person was only focused on us taking breakfast €22 per person. We did it one night but decided to skip the rest of the visit. We were told coffee and tea were unlimited and when we tried to find someone to make good, no one was ever around. My friend tried to pay at check out and had to chase the staff to do so. She was admonished for not requesting an early check out. The sign says that the desk is managed from 8-6 but we rarely saw anyone there. When we mentioned this, because my lights didn’t work in the room, they told us we should call and we were admonished again. At check out, I said that the experience wasn’t good and the manager came out to ask why. It is too late at check out. No one inquired about us during our stay or made sure things worked in the rooms. Housekeeping liberally opened the door without knocking every day as well. The rooms were pretty and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is located on a lovely square across from the Church. It is accessible to town and the attention to design detail is quite good. We were disappointed by the poor service and non-existent care for the guests. The worst staff and service. They were terribly rude and weren’t able to accommodate guests properly.

So lovely! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room and spa are gorgeous, breakfast was perfectly nice. Great attention to detail in the hotel and spa. I also got a fantastic massage. No notes! :) This place is fabulous.

We stayed two nights in the superior suite. "Suite" it is, "superior" maybe not. The room is spacious but a bit dark and the fancy sofas are stained. The main issue was the noise. The room is located on ground floor next to the entrance door (heavy and loud), so expect to hear everyone getting in and out the hotel or the spa. The hotel restaurant (also on ground floor) was hosting events in the evening, so there was a lot of traffic and people chatting outside the room on both nights. The restrooms seem to be badly marked, so the restaurant guests were trying to enter our room thinking it could be the toilet. The room has two doors, each guest trying to open both this became rapidly annoying. One guest even made it inside as we had forgotten to lock the door, we had to throw her out "politely". We also faced issues with the sink which were only resolved after 48h at check-out, so we had to brush teeth or wash hands in the shower for the whole stay. Overall nothing dramatic, but not quite what one would expect from a luxurious spa hotel and a room of that price. As a compensation the hotel offered us the... parking (cheapest item on the bill, less than 5% of the stay). We have seen hotels being more generous in their refund for less disturbance than that. In summary: not "bad", but certainly overpriced.

My wife and I booked the Superior Suite for two nights as part of our honeymoon, and we could not have been happier with our stay. The room was gorgeously decorated, impeccably cleaned, and very comfortable, and the location is unbeatable. The spa was perfect for recovering from wedding and travel fatigue: our massages were extremely relaxing! Each member of the staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to organizing additional services and amenities for us. No complaints whatsoever — we'll be back!

Very noisy rooms. We had Super Deluxe Suite and could hear neighbors above talking and walking all the time. Also very noisy hall and stair case. Stains in the carpets. Smelly bathroom. Came back one evening after a heavy downpour and no possibility to hang you coats. Very disappointing experience.

Very nice and quiet room, spacious bathroom, friendly check-in, the breakfast is being served and the quality is really good, still with 25 Euro p.p. quite expensive

Excellent service and nice spacious rooms. In the center near the Vrijthof. Nice restaurants during the day that are converted into cozy party places to go out in the evening.

From the location to service, everything about this hotel was excellent. With Vrijthof square, and the iconic Sint-Janskerk view right from your windows, you can really feel that you are right at the center of Maastricht. For the special occasion getaways, which we had for our anniversary, this place is perfect. Also, you can not miss the added services such as the Chocolate & Champagne, and of course the delicious breakfast delivered right to your room. This was not our first stay in Maastricht, and we have truly found our go-to place in Maastricht from now on. Highly recommended.

Ideal location with exquisite style and taste for a restful stay to explore Maastricht. Owning a Art BnB in 's-Graveland NH it was wonderful to enjoy a getaway at Maison Haas with their helpful staff!

We have enjoyed 2 wonderful nights in the beautiful Maison Haas Hustinx. First of all, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms have just been renovated and you can see it - beautiful! Our room at the rear of the building was not affected by ambient noise and was fully equipped. We also used the spa with swimming pool, in one word: fantastic. And we didn't even mention breakfast, it was heavenly. The tastiest croissants, beautiful meats and cheeses, fresh orange juice, good coffee and warm rolls from the oven. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Beautiful boutique hotel with the best location of Maastricht - het Vrijthof! We loved the style and design of the hotel, the perfect combination of old and new. The historic building, but with contemporary design. Our room was wonderful, spacious and had great view over the square. The service was also very friendly and professional, and the Spa experience a treat! Definitely recommend staying at this hotel for an authentic Maastricht experience. They now have a new middle eastern lunchroom called 'Safar', definitely worth the visit! :)

An absolutely fantastic hotel with a location that can't be beaten. Everything is done well, from check-in to the room, spa and breakfast. The spa is most definitely one of the most beautiful hotel spa's I've been to. During corona times the spa must be booked, but the plus side is that you have a private spa experience. Fantastic! The beds are comfortable, the bathroom was well designed and the tv had an Apple TV. We couldn't think of things that could be improved, and can't wait to stay again.
