The employees are very nice and the spehere is very cosy and fun with music. Mixed feelings about the food: - the Limburgs zuurvlees was delicious - The Ravioli ricotta spinazie was not worthy; the taste and quality of the ravioli were good, but it was soaked in oil... very sad, because it would have been good. Way too expensive for what it was...

Wow, what a lovely place! We came here without looking at the reviews! The service was incredible, very fast and so friendly! There's a lovely menu with lots of choice. The food was delicious, with good portion sizes, and was cooked to perfection! There's seating outside and inside.

The menu is limited regarding British food, for example, no fish and chips. They do offer schnitzel, German... The food we had was excellent with ample portions. The service was great and the furnishings, ambience, was great. Prices were fair for the trendy area it is located in. Overall, I was happy with our choice.

The pub might seem forbidding for a meal but don’t let the dim-pub-like atmosphere stop you. Apparently a relative of the owner is a butcher which means this place gets supplied with fresh meat, that the chefs do a lovely job of cooking to perfection, compared to the other restaurants in the area. The staff are also lovely, service is fast, and if you don’t want your fries, they’ll gladly exchange it for a salad. The place gets busy during dinner hours and tables are often booked up, but they do start serving dinner from 4pm.

Food was pretty good. Chef was super nice to adjust the dish to our boys liking....no veggies 😉

Nice bar restaurant in the busy area. Their English breakfast was nice with good ingredients. Sausages were a bit too small. Other than that it was worth the price. We also tried the regional specialty Limburgse vlaai. It’s basically a fruit tart with a creamy filling. They had the cherry version that day. It was a big piece and the creamy part was very nice. The biscuit crumble was delicious too.

Beautiful restaurant with great service. Staff and management were very engaged and kept asking if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. Would definitely visit again. 👍🏻

Excellent attentive and friendly staff. Felt like we belonged there on the first night and we had fun with the staff. Food is reasonably priced and perfectly cooked. Went back again the following day. Can recommend the Zuurvlees and the Fish&Chips, as well as any beer the staff recommends(they have an exclusive beer their in-house beer master helped brew!). Will definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Highly recommend this place, food was fabulous and the staff so accommodating taking time to explain the menu to us 😁 The steak was excellent, best ever 👍

Good steaks for reasonable prices. Liked the side dishes too. And judging from the place I have the feeling that you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Service is okay.

Overpriced honey trap !! Extremely average food and over zealous door staff. Plenty of other similarly average places nearby. Pro tip....avoid the awful English breakfast!!

We had a very nice dinner at Henry the VIII. The service was top and very friendly, the portions were large especially the ribs which also tasted great. Nice selection of beers too and a cozy atmosphere.

Great food. Great service. Absolutely recommended 100%

Very expensive and poor quality. Ordered nachos. Big bowl of dry nachos with the smallest amount of burnt cheese. Nachos, bread, 2 wines and 2 beers 48 euro. Maastricht the night before, 2 beers, 2 wine, ribs, salad, onion rings, fries and sweet potato fries 50 euros and the ribs were stunning....

Thank you Henry VII and especially Dean for the good service two weeks ago! This pub is serving hiqh quality food with a personal touch. Free parking, fair prices and a friendly staff. We will come back soon. Easy to combine with a visit of Hever Castle. Greetz, "the brothers"

This place is quite cosy, glückwein was tasty, toilets are clean. Minuses - the food's price is disproportionate to its quality. The onion soup wasn't well made (the onions were undercooked and it had weird taste like you're eating instant noodle soup from the shop). The chicken in the snitzel was overcooked and dry and had no seasoning in it.

What a brilliant bar. Such a friendly pub with a great vibe. Groups of friends having a good time and happy relaxed couples. Knowledgeable staff, great beer and comfortable surroundings, what more could you want?

Really impressed. I had the ribs and a beer €25. Good value for money. The service was excellent and okay to sit outside as they had heaters on as it just wasn't summer yet. English speaking staff so will return.

Excellent Location a really nice and warm vibe. Fast service and extremely nice waiters. And the food OH my delicious! We had a great time the night was going splendid. To bad we ended the night on a bad note. When they asked us to move from our place to the bar. “Because they had other people that didn’t reserved a spot wanted to eat” We asked 3 weeks before we went there for a spot and yea when I go to eat in a restaurant I take my sweet time... Don’t rush people when they even didnt get their dessert 🤷‍♂️

Excellent collection of barrel aged beer, their standard beer is chouffe which is great. Also really reccomend to try funky white beer and standard chouffe. The owner is very friendly. We had a amazing cheese platter, recommended!

Perfect service. The employees were very kind, helpful and fun; everything you look for when going to a pub. The food was good, but not brilliant. The pub is located on a cheerful street across from the museum situated in a beautiful building. Overal a very fun experience and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a drink and a bite to eat.

👍👍 Nice and friendly place. Waiter was talking in three language (🇳🇱, 🇩🇪, 🇬🇧) and probably he speaks 🇫🇷. He came to us almost right after that we're found table and asked what we want to drink. Prices are fair and food tastes good. We took french fries and velvet backcakes and cafee + hit chocolate....
