Great place! We sat by the bar but they've lovely restaurant as well, which is really bright during the day as it gets natural light from outside. It looked so nice and very well decorated. The food was really good. My friend had the zuurvlees and she loved it. The portion may look a little bit small when you first get it but it's very filling. I'd great pasta, super tasty and the local beer was very good. Highly recommend it! The service was excellent. Very good staffs. Even though we didn't have a reservation they organized a table for us straight away. I put 4 stars only because I'd appreciate if they were more vegetarian options on the menu, maybe a vegetarian pasta would have been great.

No chicken options, which is why the rating is low, but the traditional food was great! Oniom soup was very good. Service is exceptional and the atmosphere felt like you were in a homely environment. Apparently the rabbit is highly recommended and was rated as the amazing by my colleagues.

This is the best place to have a nice meal! The food is very tasty the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very nice also. My husband says the beer is very good to, and they have a lot of beers 🍻! We always go back there when we are in town. We strongly recommend this place! 👌

Came here for a spot of lunch before we went to see Andre Reiu, we hadn't booked but luckily they were able to squeeze us in. The staff were very pleasant and spoke great English. We ordered some drinks...2 large beers and a glass of wine and then we ordered some mains. I had the pork skewer with 3 skewers, my husband had the skewer but with 5 skweres and our friend had the meat platter thing with some chippies. Everything was so delicious. We ordered a couple more beers and the bill came to around 85€

Lovely restaurant with very good food and a huge choice of different beers. We ordered different beers from the menu and had as main dishes: rabbit & fish and chips. Both dishes were delicious! Service was friendly and we got our orders super fast. Food Menu is also available in English. Only for the drinks, there is no translation available. Reservations can be made via google and are recommended. We had a perfect evening at pieke potloed!

It was good! The service was great, the atmosphere was cozy and the food was pretty good. The traditional Maastricht stew is very sour so if you love vinegar it’s a good dish from you. I tried a friends shrimp scampi that was DELICIOUS, wish I would have ordered that instead haha. The location is also nice, it’s right near the center of Maastricht so I have no complaints. I overall enjoyed the meal there.

Nice restaurant on a side street. Has a cozy small part at the front and a bigger covered courtyard at the back.

Amazing night out: The starter, the main course and the dessert were all perfect. Also the service was super friendly. My highlight was the "Limburger Sauerbraten" - nom nom nom!

This is a restaurant I would love to visit again. Tried authentic beef stew and absolutely loved it! Also tried the omer beer, and damn, that was some experience!

Our small group stopped by here for supper. I will say that atmosphere here is great. The service was also very friendly and food was pretty quick. Only small downside was actually the food. Presentation was great but some parts of the meals were...ok. some appetizers and mains were very good. Overall, a good place to go. Thanks.

Had lunch here today. What a lovely, relaxing lunch. We had the 3 course lunch. Could not manage dessert. Delicious feed, great service and not expensive. They were very busy but managed a friendly attentive service.

The food was ok overall, I would recommend the local cheese platter, it came with s really good sauce, I think it was made from plums. The food was nice, on the bitter side but hearthy and cozy, like the restaurant. I would give more but we saw a mouse.

Yes, onion soup is the best soup of the place. You cannot go wrong with it. Get the big portion :) Along this we also tried Quiche (3*) Chicken ragout(4*)

Highly recommended! You can find Maastricht’s traditional dish Zuurvlees and Tête de veaux there. Finally, the tap beer was also very good and unique.
