The food and service at this place is amazing! We ordered the 6 courses menu UMI, every dish in this menu was delicious! We also decided we would like to reserve the Wagyu beef and it was an amazing choice! The beef was very tasty and tender. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful which makes the experience even better! The service and food that you receive is definitely worth the money. Definitely coming back here!

Truly an unique experience in Maastricht. We really enjoyed our 6 courses with scallops, tenderloin and prawns. The chef owner cooked our dinner and was highly skilled. Everything tasted extremely fresh and flavourful. The only improvement I could give the experience was that there could have been a little bit more time between the courses.

Kobe is lovely. True Japanese cuisine. The best part is how the chefs flame things up right in front of you!

Fantastic food! The steak and salmon were perfectly cooked, very tender on the inside. The steak had a fascinating smokey aroma, making me fall in love immediately. The appetizer had a crispy outside, and it was marinated with rich flavors. The Japanese black sesame ice cream had a lovely surprising ice-crystal texture, different from common ice cream. The chef was very professional and attentive. Definitely recommend! Definitely coming back!

Highest quality restaurant I've ever been to! They have so much attention for you and are very focused on your experience. We had a Teppanyaki table for a group of 8 people and had a great time with the chef. It wasn't just world class food, but watching all the food being prepared with impeccable skill was highly entertaining as well.

Amazing! We had a 5-course teppanyaki menu. The steak and the salmon had a fascinating, smokey aroma. We're perfectly cooked and tender. My son got his wish menu in exchange. The entire night was accommodating, and the cookshow was incredible as well. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and definitely we're going back again! Therefore, they deserved my 5 stars!

Kobe is a restaurant worth recommending. It's expensive, but definitely worth it. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is mega delicious, especially the meat and fried rice. The chef puts on a show. Without noticing, 2-3 hours have passed. We can't wait to eat there again.

It's an excellent one-time experience. Pity their sushi chef had not arrived yet. I will definitely try their sushi on my next visit. Great service. Great food.

The food was very good, with a variety of subtle flavours, expertly prepared. What was even better was the quality of service and attention to detail of the staff. They engaged us in friendly, polite conversation, answered all of our questions and took great care of us, making sure everything was to our liking. They noticed that my wife was pregnant and made sure to cook all her food well and substitute tasty replacements for raw food items. Everyone had a great positive energy which led to us having a great time. If we’re back in Maastricht, we’d definitely consider coming back for the experience and to try some of the other dishes!

Nice decor and atmosphere. Table Service is excellent. Food is good, but have room for improvement. I ordered the Teppanyaki set. The appetizer and soup are standard fare, but the Tenderloin steak is really nice. Sushi is however probably a hit and miss. I ordered 2 pieces, and 1 of the piece broke apart the moment I dip it into the sauce.

Unique experience We were a large group with kids in the Teppanyaki table Chef Emmanuel is a great host, professional , friendly and food deliciously good in every aspect . Certainly a place to go .

Attentive service and delicious food. My partner and I went here for our anniversary and were not disappointed. From my observation, other guests in the restaurant had a good time that evening as well. One minor comment, is that if the restaurant want to stand out compared to others in Maastricht center, interiors can be improved for a more romantic/cozy vibe.

This was an incredible experience. It was quite satisfying to see the chef preparing the food. The food was of high quality and the service was also great. Usually in busy restaurants, you feel that the staff is rushing to handle all the orders. However, in this restaurant the atmosphere was very calm and relaxed. Well done!

We walked past Kobe several times in the last years, and finally treated ourselves with the chance of trying it. We went for two of the teppanyaki menus (with 5 dishes each) and were not disappointed. The place and the atmosphere are super - with the cooks being unbelievably skilled and undoubtedly the stars of the show. I didn't know how much I could enjoy having someone cooking right in front of us, but I'm pretty sold now it's definitely something every customer (and chef!) deserves to experience more often. Service was impeccable under every aspect. Can't wait to go back and try my first Wagyu. *edit: tried my first Wagyu indeed. It did not disappoint. One of the best dinners I had in the last few years!

Had a great dinner with my girlfriend on Saturday night. The chef was friendly whilst showcasing his skills. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing we would have liked is to have been asked if we wanted another drink when our glasses were empty. Other than that we have recommended this place to others already and will be coming back

A fantastic place run by a great staff. We have done the Teppanyaki tables twice and really enjoyed the experience. The multi-course format works really well here and the chef and staff are very flexible about the timing of each course to suit our preferences. Everything is fresh and delicious! Highly recommended!!

Saturday we went to dinner at Kobe's, very pleasantly surprised! We eat Japanese food quite often, but the quality and flavours we discovered here were of a different level. We chose the Umi menu twice (1 person had food allergies, the waiter was able to take this into account immediately). Miso soup was tasty, sushi melted away on the tongue, tenderloin was very tender,... It was a "pricey" menu, but the quality we got in its place was well worth it. Highly recommended though, book a table at the sushi bar or at the tepanyaki. This is an experience on top! We will definitely come back again.

We went for the 5 course teppanyaki. I would highly recommend having salmon. Absolutely loved it! The dessert was also very good and light! The experience and service were top class. Great time over all!

For our wedding anniversary we had dinner at Kobe. What an amazing restaurant, more like an experience. The smell , the hospitality, the atmosphere, it’s an evening of entertainment. The quality of the different dishes is exquisite. Even the fried rice is the best I ever tasted. Thank you Kobe team for making our date night special. You all make your guests feel special. Hospitality is what Kobe separates from the rest. Thank you, salamat!

Update: just look at the vegetable... I do not think the quantity is the same. And I do not think the package is my problem. Have a nice day! The taste is really good, I was really satisfied first time I visited. But this time I got a sad take-away box...the food is still good, but come on, try to use a smaller box or put in more food

We have been going to Kobe for many many years now, and I will say that it is the most favorite sushi place in the world for all our family members. Aki-san, the sushi chef, is one of a kind - we highly recommend this restaurant. All the employees are very friendly and service oriented.

It was ok. But for the price they charge, it is too expensive. Those prices are Michelin star level prices. This restaurant does not provide that. Basic dishes, and uninteresting plating. Food was tasty, but not for those prices. Interior of restaurant is neat but small. Located inside/next to a hotel.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr toll. Ich fand es sehr eindrucksvoll wie die Köche nur mit wenigen Handgriffen so ein leckeres Essen hergezaubert haben. Es war alles eine super tolle Erfahrung die ich auf jeden Fall wiederholen würde 😊
