Excellent dining, charming rooms, very friendly and relaxed hosts make you feel at home. My wife and I stayed for two nights. We had planned to have dinner for the first evening at SamSam and try Maastricht for the second evening. Then the first evening's culinary experience prepared by SamSam's chef made us skip our plans for Maastricht and we stayed in Meerssen for a second dinner. The cooking at SamSam is delicate, inspiring, rooted in classical French cooking but innovative in a very subtle way. Each dish and the menu as a whole are well-balanced.
