La Semilla is a great spot! Our server made a couple of recommendations and they were great choices! The dishes we got “para la mesa” were the best. The handhelds were good too, but I feel like it wasn’t really the section that let creativity shine through as much. Overall, I would recommend this spot to anyone, vegan or not!

TLDR Great staff, service, & amazing Vegan food! The atmosphere is cool and hip, and the food was amazing; high quality, unique cuisine. A must for vegans and non-vegans alike! We drove from Tampa Bay to try this spot, you’re going to want a reservation but we got really lucky just showing up at 5 on Friday night. They were booked but accommodated us. The crowd was mostly locals and epicurean pilgrims like myself. The drinks were innovative and expertly-curated. I had the Oye Chicha, it was incredible! The food was surprising and inventive although some items were comfort classics like tacos and crunchwrap’s that we passed on. We started with the queso blanco and Sikil Pak (outstanding habanero nut based salsa of some sort) as well as the Esquites (corn cup of deliciousness). Best queso I’ve had in years. My partner had the lions mane bistic de palomilla it’s a delightful mushroom steak and it was too good to describe. I got the Chochoyotes that are lil masa dumplins with some wicked sauce of magical bangin corn broth. Order it. For dessert we had the Frituras de Calabaza which are lil fried pumpkin balls. They were good but could have had more sauce or cream accompaniment but we were so full of joy there was no room to complain. We also got the Cubano to-go and I am so glad we did. Whole heartedly recommend EVERYTHING. Full chef’s kiss! Do yourself a favor and make your reservation now.

What an incredible experience from the time we walked through the door until the time we left. The greeters at the front door had welcoming and friendly smiles. The place is beautiful with a warm ambience and great vibes with the cool bar and music. The food was outstanding! I've dined at vegan restaurants around the country and this tops as one of my faves from a food, atmosphere, and service perspective. I also love the cultural roots and love put into the creation of each dish. I can't wait to go back to try more items from the menu!

First time here was great! Service was super friendly and helpful. They offered guidance and answers to any questions we had! They were very kind to let us take our time after our meal since it was rainy outside. The vegan food was nice! Yuca Con Queso 5/5: This was my absolute favorite! The yuca fries were crispy and seasoned. It paired nicely with the queso!! I would definitely order this again! Croquetas De Jamon (3/5): these were decent! Crispy breaded exterior with a soft interior. I wasn’t sure what I was tasting but it was not bad. Carne Asada Tacos (3.5/5): I really enjoyed these! Freshly made tortillas with the filling nicely seasoned and savory! We shared the two tacos and unfortunately the one I ate was especially greasy. It seemed like they included the grease on the bottom of the pan! The other taco was not as greasy according to my date! It can be seen in the picture! Cuban sandwich (3/5): This was okay. Maybe it was because we chose to eat this item last but it was definitely outdone in terms of flavor by the other dishes. It was the most bland out of all. My date did not finish her half and I had to eat it all. It was kind of tasteless compared to the rest so I dipped it into the queso of the yuca fries! It definitely helped!! Overall our experience was a positive one. I would definitely return to try the other items!

I’d been eager to come back after my first time dining in a couple weeks ago, and the second time did not disappoint. The chochoyotes, empanada, and yuca fries were so tasty. And the frituras for dessert - to die for. I’ll definitely be back!

Wow this restaurant is amazing! The food was exceptional. The chips are fresh and hot, the nachos are to die for and the drink menu is superb. I also ordered the crunch wrap, so delicious! You can’t go wrong with whatever you order. The staff was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They have done an incredible job here! The place is beautiful

Just opening, La Semilla (The Seed in Spanish) in Reynolds Town. Terrific all plant based Latin American inspired cuisine. Wide range of choices from lion mane steak to crunch wraps! Well made cocktails at reasonable prices. You can have two with dinner and not break the bank. Great atmosphere - relaxed and semi casual. Plate’s easily serve two and are about $13 dollar each. I’m not vegan, but forgot I was eating vegan as each dish was so flavorful. Parking validated.

Hands down the best plant based dining experience I’ve had in Georgia. Our waiter, Stephan, was impressively knowledgeable about each dish, how they’re prepared and which dishes had gluten since I’m gluten free and vegan. The queso, yuca fries, chocoyotes, the Flora mocktail and dessert were phenomenal. The flavors, textures, everything was perfect. The decor is stunning and you instantly feel at home here. I cannot wait to go back!

Being able to choose anything on a restaurant menu is a rarity for vegan/vegetarians. Everything that we chose from the menu was absolutely delicious. The flavors, textures, aromas, sauces, and "cheeses" were phenomenal. To be honest, the service was amazing; so attentive, and servers knowledgeable. Now this is my favorite place dine!

Such an amazing experience!! From the moment we entered we were so kindly greeted by the amazing staff who made sure our table was ready. There is such a diverse group of staff and guests that you instantly feel welcomed! We were a party of 4 and we had such a great time! We ordered the cubarrito, Al pastor tacos, the Crunchwrap, alongside the agua fresca of the day and everything was absolutely delectable! Absolutely delicious flavors!! I’m a vegetarian and eating out can be difficult sometimes…not here. Here I don’t have to worry about any meat! This restaurant represents everything I am and the food I love. Sustainability, plant based, Latin cuisine…I’m in love! Highly recommend. Will definitely be back for more

I recently dined at La Semilla and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that only added to the delightful meal that was to come. The menu was all vegan and very unique in a great way. I know that this is made from another location called Happy Seed which are owned by the same owners of this one. But this was just something else and just amazing!! The service was top-notch, with staff who were knowledgeable and attentive to our every need. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious vegan meal or just a meal in a wonderful setting. It is the perfect place for a romantic dinner, a celebration with friends, or just a night out to enjoy great food and drinks. I can't wait to go back!

My first experience with La Semilla was a double date with friends. We had such a great time! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. He made great suggestions and service. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals and drinks. I haven’t made it back yet but I MUST go again. I would highly recommend going here. The only complaint was with getting out of the parking garage. At the time it was broken and we couldn’t get out for a while. But La Semilla itself was amazing! - from November 3, 2023

The atmosphere was so cute! We sat outside but I definitely want to go sit at the bar one day. I chose recommendations from the server and it was all so good The pumpkin dessert with the caramel sauce is amazing. The fresh juice was great. The server was very knowledgeable and literally went over every item on the menu for us. It was a really great first experience and I would definitely be back.

Not only was the food amazing (which I expected from enjoying their Happy Seed pop-up at A mano) but the customer service, communication, attention to detail, and vibes were amazing as well. Our server Brooke was so helpful in making sure I selected the right items that were gluten free and soy free. The decor is beautiful and the music was great. The plantain split was a pleasant surprise. Crispy sweet plantains with a dash of salt, chocolate sauce and ice cream… definitely try it! My husband, who is not vegan, really enjoyed the food and drinks. We’ll be back!

Loved this place! Our server was really friendly and knowledgeable. The space was cute and warm. BUT.. The food! YUM! We shared the queso and it was great. Then I had the Vegan Chochoyotes (pictured) and it blew my mind. I'd never had anything like it.

AMAZING. We missed our reservation window (our fault) and the host still was able to seat us outside with a great space heater on a chilly night. Everything we ordered was terrific. Started with the squash empanada, then the Yuca fries that were perfectly fried. The side sauces were terrific. We tried the Bistec next - a wonderful seared lion’s mane mushroom with some perfectly sautéed onions on top. We then tried the Al Pastor tacos with sautéed mushrooms and great pineapple and onion salsa on top. The mushrooms were perfectly prepared and had great texture. To top it off we got the Cubano sandwich that was as good as any pork Cuban sandwich we’ve ever had. Service was impeccable and everyone was super kind and engaging. Loved our first experience and we will definitely be back. Thanks to the ala Semilla team for a great evening!

Amazing place! I’m not even vegan, but this was one of the best meals I’ve had. We ordered family style and were able to try numerous dishes and they were all very delicious. Our server, Brook, was exceptional with all the right recommendations! From drinks to food 10/10. Do yourself a favor and check this place out right now!!!!! P.S. ask for their Mezcal. Look at the photo and judge for yourself!

One of the best vegan meals I've had in Atlanta. Everything was so wonderfully flavorful, which a lot of vegan South American food misses. It's also quite reasonably priced for such a killer burrito and crunch wrap. Will definitely be back soon.

This place is incredible!!! The parking is in a garage nearby and costs around $3 and there’s not a direct entrance for it - just to keep in mind on an especially cold or rainy night. The atmosphere is wonderful, the service was great (I docked a star because we ordered several things at once when the server assured us they would stagger everything and then it all came at once) and the food was SO delicious. The carne asada tacos are hands down the best thing on the menu (we tried just about everything and everyone I know that’s tried them agrees) but it was all an epicurean fantasy. I’ve been there twice and look forward to going again soon. Highly recommend!!!

Really appreciated the vegan / plant-based take on traditional Cuban food. Admittedly the place is relatively new and I think some of the recipes have a little room for improvement, but I have no doubt that they will hit their stride. The chips and their version of queso blanco was very well done, the yuca fries were also good but lacked a little punch, and the empanada was a really good choice. The mains were also really good (we had the tacos), but the desserts left a little something to be desired. Overall a great experience and cannot wait to see how this place evolves its menu options.

This restaurant shows just how delicious vegan/plant based food can be. So good I would recommend this place to my meat eating friends as well, because everyone will enjoy the flavors coming out of this kitchen. Get the crunch wrap and Cuban sandwich

The plant-based version of the delicious Cuban/Latina cuisine was worthy of my graceful gluttonous experience. Brooke, our Server was simply everything. Her energy, vibes & menu knowledge was a huge part of our dining experience. We followed her lead on recommendations with her expertise in the ingredients, taste & paring. We were delighted with our selections as everything was full of flavor & varied spices. La Semilla is a fabulous concept by the catering company Happy Seed. I'm "exuberant" about their expansion in offering an authentic, creative, & Latin-infused twist on plant-based cuisine. Whether you live in Atlanta or traveling through, it is a must that you try out La Semilla as the food, service, price point & atmosphere are simply fantástica.

Great concept but lots of improvement required. This place was opened like a week ago. Love the fact that the whole menu is vegan. They have options but some of them are unavailable because the don't outsource there raw materials. Ambience was great, love the vibe of the place. Service was great too. Because the items we ordered was out the chef came out and explained the situation himself. All in all the food was great but can be improved specifically the roasted cauliflower mole(cauliflower wasn't roasted enough). Would highly recommend to try the squash empanadas. I would have really appreciated if I had more options available as well. And it was expensive for they have on the menu.

As someone who dines out sparingly, I hold a deep appreciation for experiences that truly justify the occasion, and La Semilla unquestionably delivered! To everyone who played a part in crafting this extraordinary experience, I extend my gratitude. Your dedication and passion are truly commendable, and I excitedly anticipate witnessing the continued growth and influence of this restaurant. I had the “Enmoladas con Verduras,” and must say the ingredients were remarkably fresh. The mole was so rich and balanced (easily the best I have had). Altogether, it was a symphony of flavors and textures that left my body feeling rejuvenated well after the meal. La Semilla is so much more than a place to enjoy a meal. You can feel the thought and care that goes into every detail of the experience - from the ambiance to the genuine kindness and warmth of the staff. I look forward to coming back for more, thank you! 💚
