Nice building and concept, but not a big self-serve selection if you don’t love beer. Also, kinda pricey. I ordered a frozen blueberry sangria from the bar and was told it would be $8, which sounded reasonable. It sounded less reasonable, however, when they handed me this little glass that wasn’t even halfway full. Looking back at my bank statement, I was charged $11.45 for it. Total rip-off. I would never order, nor recommend, that tiny drink for that amount of money and likely won’t be back.

This place has it all: inside dining where you can watch the game, outside dining where the kids can play, cozy seating on the upstairs deck, large high top tables where families and friends can gather and a dog park out back. It is great for beer lovers but has plenty of options for those who don't. The food is good and the staff are friendly. You should check it out!

Went here for a date night. The location is great, and they have plenty of parking. The place itself is pretty new and really cool looking inside. We checked in and opened a tab - we were told to sit wherever we wanted and someone would be with us. They gave us a card for our tab for self-serve beer on tap. After 15 PLUS minutes of waiting at our table, NOT A SINGLE PERSON stopped at our table. We were 2 of 4 TOTAL customers inside the place (it was literally empty) and we watched about 6 employees walk around the restaurant doing other things. It was not closing time, there was still over an hour left before they closed. We finally walked back to the hostess and turned in our tab card and let her know there was nothing on the tab because we never saw a server. She didn't even look up and just said, "ok thanks". I had high hopes for this place, especially since their sangria is AMAZING, but I'm super disappointed. I recommend purchasing their sangria to go, or maybe if you're there to just serve yourself beer from the tap and aren't planning on eating or needing to actually interact with staff. If you want a great dinner experience and great drinks, go down the street to 1885.

First visit tonight. Interesting place! By the time I left I had started to get the hang of the card system. Wife had a hamburger that she really enjoyed. I tried several different beers and even helped my wife finish her sangria, because I’m that kind of stand up guy! We’ll be back. Staff was attentive, approachable, friendly. Nice execution of a local brew house.

This place has a cool concept-pour your own draft, and the ambiance is great. However the food is sub par at best. Ordered the shrimp & grits and my daughter ordered the Mexican Trio special. The shrimp and grits were bland-honestly could have come from the frozen section at Publix. The Mexican Trio was advertised as two sliders, two tacos, and guacamole. The guac portion was not even enough to be applied to the two tacos. The tacos were mainly slaw. The guac should not be advertised as a signature component of a trio. Like, it was totally a little dipping sauce size. I'd estimate it as 1.5 tablespoons. Almost feels as if the establishment is cutting corners to remain afloat. The bathroom soap dispensers did not function, or at least my advanced degrees did not qualify me to figure them out. A positive-the mac and cheese was the bomb. Should have gone to Applebees...

Really cool atmosphere. We went for a Sip & Script event and got a chance to enjoy some hard apple cider at the bar. I'm not really much of a beer drinker, so this was more my speed. They have these really cool dispensers, too, so you can try different flavors. We'll definitely go back and stay for dinner the next time.

This taphouse has virtual taps where you are able to pour your own beers. We found each style was reasonably priced and the flavor of the beer matched the beer style. The Mexican Lager was absolutely amazing on a hot day. Well done brew. You never have to wait for a bar tender unless you would like a cocktail or other beverage you will find service at the bar. The food was surprisingly good for a brew pub. You are able to go up and order and you will be notified when you food is ready to come pickup. They had a great selection, we had the Hangover Burger and Mac and Cheese side. The burger was perfect and flavorful. The Mac n cheese was approved by my fiancé from Wisconsin. The outdoor area is amazing on a beautiful day!! The not so good: the glasses did not all seem clean, please inspect your glass before you pour your own beer. There were no clear drop off areas for the food trays/plates. Overall there did not seem to be a staff member wiping down tables or cleaning up after guests when they left. Parking is very limited, you might have to get your steps in.

I came on a Saturday evening with a friend. It was our first time. We loved the atmosphere and the food. Our cocktails (Blood Moon & the elderberry gin) were delicious. The picture shows the Buffalo chicken dip and blood moon cocktails. The dip was tasty but had very mild spice. We also ordered the lemon pepper and jerk wings, both were dry-rub, and tacos. The beef brisket taco one was pretty good. You get in line to order, and they give you a buzzer. When the food is ready, you pick it up yourself. It was kind of chaotic for me, but we had an enjoyable experience overall. We sat at the bar while eating, then went outside, where there were lots of tables and chairs after it cooled down.

Red Top is a hometown favorite & great addition to Main Street in old Acworth. Friendly staff, excellent food and an interesting self-pour concept that includes their craft brews and others. Red Top has a great atmosphere. The fantastic craft beer scene here locally now rivals my 10 years in Munich, Germany 🍺!

Such a cool concept and a convenient location in downtown Acworth. There are cards available at the front desk that you use to order everything. When you’re ready to go, just drop your card in the box and be on your way. There is a self serve station on each floor but you can also order from the bar. There’s an awesome room on the second floor made almost entirely of windows. They we’re all open the last time our group met up. We were basically outside which was quite enjoyable as the season began to turn cooler. If you like pretzels, give theirs a try. Absolutely worth it!

I used to love this place. But recently they have been going down hill. Today we came in and ordered our food like we normally do. However, upon receiving our food it came to our attention that the fried pickles which used to be gluten free are no longer gluten free. The menu never stated they changed the recipe nor did the restaurant advertise this. I am gluten free and was unable to eat my food. My husband who isn’t gluten free didn’t even like the new recipe version. He said they were soggy and lacked flavor. I’m disappointed they would change the recipe and that I can no longer enjoy one of my favorite menu items. I’m sure the reason is due to cost or new management, but it’s definitely a let down. I appreciate you taking the pickles off our bill. Just wanted to share our disappointment as I know many other gluten free people who will feel the same when they hear the news.

The atmosphere is really great. Family oriented, cozy areas to find a table with friends to chat, play games, and drink. They have some eventful nights with trivia, outdoor cornhole and a outdoor seating area with some areas with fire pits. Where they lack is in beer and food. When they first opened they had local beers but now that they have there own beers in tap, there isn't a huge selection. If you like IPA they have quite a bit but I'm more of a darker beer person which they have none of. My fall back is lagers and there was only two on tap. I only have one beer I like which is the honey beer which seems to be everyone's favorite. With it being the favorite, it not only pours hard leaving a large amount of foam but needs changing often. If you are patient, if you teel a server, they will fix the pour for you free of charge. The biggest disappointment was the food. The amount of food you get for the price is not worth it. We got fried pickles and for $9, it only came with 12 chips. For an appetizer that is only enough for 1 person, see picture, no food was taken from this. You can also see they were burnt. I asked if this amount was correct and they said yes but I also got one of the employees tell me that the cooks are having a bad night, were upset because the kitchen closed at 9 pm. I asked before I placed my order if they kitchen was still open and they said yes and this was only a little after 9. The other thing we ordered was buffalo chicken dip which was very oily and came with kettle chips, again this was $14 and for the portion and taste which was bland was not good. Tasted like something I would have gotten from the store for $5. Place is worth meeting up with friends and drinking basic beers. Everyone may find one beer they like but don't expect a huge variety to taste from. Food is way overpriced for what you get. You are better off eating at other establishments nearby.

First time and definitely not my last. We had the very best experience possible, service was absolutely the very best. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious and more than I could eat. Best part was the selection of beer on tap, huge selection and the lagers were outstanding. I really liked the way the beer was self serve, they provide a card you pick up a glass and select the one or ones you want, if you want just and ounce to taste no problem. I tried a few and found one I really liked. Such an amazing place, dog friendly too. Plenty of seating indoors or outside very casual atmosphere.

Visited with a friend on Saturday night. Really cool atmosphere with a unique pour it yourself beer tap system. Prices were very good and staff was friendly. I enjoyed the queso fries. Would love to return.
