This was our first time visiting this restaurant based off the recommendation of my boyfriend’s roommates as well as seeing the 4.6 star rating. Maybe my experience was a fluke, but I will not be returning nor be recommending this establishment to anyone else. The location is nice to be fair. It has a romantic and peaceful vibe since it is tucked away in the back of the shopping center with cute string lighting for cute date photo ops. The staff was rude from the moment we entered the restaurant. We were told we needed to hurry because the kitchen was getting ready to close though they were open for another 1.5 hour. She then left the table for 20 minutes before returning. We attempted to ordered appetizers and were told we had to order everything at once so the kitchen could close quickly and she would be back when we were ready. We stopped her and asked if we could order a bottle of their plum wine before she left again and she said they didn’t offer it despite it being on the menu so we asked for cold sake. She said ok and left only to return in 10 minutes and ask for our ids which is fine, but then she stood there struggling to calculate how old we were from our DOB. That should’ve been easy given under 21 IDs are vertical oriented and say under 21 in red on them, but I digress. My friend had her natural hair color in her ID photo, but had since dyed it green and the waitress accused her of using a fake ID. It was absurd to say the least. She then left again for an additional 10 minutes before bringing the sake and and urging us to order. The food was decent at best. That is truly a generous description. Because we were told to order everything at once and it took the waitress almost 30+ minutes to get our drinks and order we ended up getting our appetizers and entrees at the same time. The “Thai wings” are essentially unseasoned deep fried chicken wings served on top of spring mix with sweet chili sauce. The wonton wrapped shrimp were burnt as you can see in the photo and also served on spring mix with sweet chili sauce. The coconut soup was ok, but topped with so much red pepper flakes that you almost don’t even know there is coconut in it. The shrimp and scallop curry was subpar. The seafood was undercooked and the “Thai hot” we requested was anything, but that. I got the golden trio which was just cheap skirt steak, diced chicken and salad shrimp tossed with fajita veggies. It was more in line with something I’d expect at a local Mexican restaurant to be honest. Not even 10 minutes into eating she brought the check and to go boxes in a none to subtle effort to encourage us to leave. Other things to note; when ordering we were told not to go by the letter/numbers assigned to the meals because they don’t use them so that was confusing, also they seem to add on an additional gratuity so make sure you check your receipt, the bathrooms smelled horrendous so I’d advise you to hold it, when paying and writing in the tip (20% despite the poor experience) she said that I should consider leaving more. The overall experience was unpleasant. I hope it was just an off night especially since so many other people seem to have had great experiences, but too many issues during the course of 90 minutes or less has me convinced that there is not an icebergs chance in hades of me returning to this place.

The food was excellent and you can either have either a vegetarian meal and or add meat to it. Our waitress was really sweet and was very accommodating to a guest that had some special needs. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Best Thai restaurant I’ve had in the Atlanta area. If you want to go to a place where you feel like your Asian grandma is cooking and serving, this is the place.

This is our favorite Thai restaurant. Very good staffs. Little pricy but worth to spend. Usually we try yellow curry and panang curry. Their Tom yam soup and coconut soup will be good. Ambiance looks great for family get together

Words cannot express how amazing the masaman curry was. I was pleasantly surprised by the avocados tucked in the dish and it works very well. I love that the cashews are not cooked with the sauce so they’re still crunchy. This was the BEST masaman curry I have ever had! ❤️ My new favorite place.

Spicy basil fried rice was sooooooo good. My friend had the massaman curry chicken and shrimp and that was also very grand. Staff is very pleasant.

One of our go-to local places for fresh, quick and tasty Thai. They can turn up the heat too if you want them too. We love the folks that work here. They seem like a family and really put their heart into the service.

First timer and I’ll definitely be coming back. Got the dinner special which was a good deal for everything included. The salad came with a delicious ginger dressing, the coconut soup was rich and tasty, and the spring roll was hot and crispy. For main dishes, had the fried rice with pork and chicken as well as the spicy noodle (Thai spicy level) and both were so delicious and spicy I forgot to take pictures! Staff was lovely, friendly, and attentive. The cherry on top a good experience. Note: The restaurant has increased prices by 15% to account for higher costs and they’re now closed on Sunday’s

I visited this establishment for the first time. The staff was not very friendly but the food was good. I was viewing the menu option prior to ordering. There was a language barrier as I couldn't clearly understand the staff. it was not explained that the soup and egg rolls didn't come with my entree until after I decided to do takeout when my original plan was to eat in. The cost was disappointing considering the items removed when doing takeout. To add the soup would have been about $5. The cashier abruptly pushed the food toward me and conveniently spoke clearly this time to say try next time and eat in. 😆

The best Thai food I have tasted in Metro Atlanta since I moved here in Fall 2017. I ordered the Panang Curry family dinner with Spring roll and Chicken Tom Yum soup (14.50). My girlfriend ordered the Lemon Grass family dinner with Spring Roll and Chicken Coco soup (14.50). We got 3 Thai Milk Teas (3.50 each), because I wanted 2 of them. After tax, the bill was 46.50. I consider that really good for a nice date night meal. Would recommend to everybody unless food allergies would prohibit.

Establishment itself is Tucktaway in the corner of the strip mall. The environment was extremely peaceful. The food was on par with any other Thai food I’ve tried, doesn’t set itself different from any other place I’ve gone to here within the state, it wasn’t nothing that was above par or it’s like OMG the stuff is amazing. However it did hit the spot.

I’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurants in Atlanta. This is my first time here and will not be my last. I live almost two hours away and will make the drive again. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable for the portion size. Thank you for such a pleasant lunch experience.

Great authentic Thai food. The family dinner option was really good. It included a choice of salad, soup, an appetizer, and a main dish. The spicy noodles that we opted in a family dinner was so delicious. Also the green curry had a right mix of spice and flavors. The staff were very friendly and the portion sizes were generous. Awesome dining experience overall!

This restaurant is what inspired me to start trying Thai food wherever I go. More than just the food, I love the kind, hardworking people here (although I wouldn't say no to more Rama chicken...). Truly, Lemongrass is one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to, and the fact that it's buried in the corner of a parking lot in suburbia is somewhat of a tragedy! Visit here, and tell all your friends! Who knows -- perhaps it will also inspire you to try more Thai.

It’s more like a Chinese food restaurant than Thai. If you don’t order curry, the others are Chinese. I had the Pud Thai. It was way too sweet for an Thai dish. I added lime juice from three wedges, didn’t make any difference. The only dish that was Thai was the curry duck. In conclusion, this is a Chinese restaurant with a touch of Thai.

You can experience authentic Thai food with friendly staff in the quaint, tucked away establishment. Only real ones know about this little treasure☺️. I have been going here since the early 2010s, but haven't been back to eat there for about 5 years. Man, I really have been missing out! I never forgot about it, just wasn't ever near here to eat. Today, I got a fresh reminder why I need to come back and eat here more often❤️. The food is still fresh and tastes the same. It's the consistency for me! The portion sizes are very large. And the service is quick. We had Pud Thai, Basil Fried Rice, Basil Rolls and the Tea Rose. Please get the Tea Rose if you like dumplings! They have this unique and rich umami flavor that I don't find in other dumplings. Gotta love Lemongrass🥰🥰

I love the chicken coconut soup! So much so that I always order two any time I'm on this side of town. I have yet to try anything else on the menu, but it all looks and smells delicious.

I tried the spicy noodles w tofu and everything was good but if you deliver its good to have a cup of broth or soy sauce because it may get a little dry! Vegetable rolls were good!

Great find and a good experience at this small tucked away Thai restaurant. We got a family dinner which is 17 a pop and includes a small soup, appetiser=1 spring roll each and a main dish which is pretty large in quantity. If you dine in you also get a small salad. Do try the coconut soup that is the best. It’s better than Tom yum if you are a Tom yum fan. We also got the Panama curry which was fantastic and chicken Rama which was a astir fried dish that I didn’t care for so much. Their curries are really good and I would recommend those. Overall value for money and a great experience.

We are fortunate to have a very decent Thai restaurant in E Marietta. All curry dishes are superb and the basil rolls, beef salad, and Thai salad are delicious. The House fried rice is excellent and the soups are on point. They have managed to keep their prices competitive without sacrificing portions or quality during the post-pandemic inflationary period. Lovely owner and operator serving the area for over a decade.

My wife just picked up some lunch to go, and I've not even finished eating mine yet (spicy noodles). The food is fantastic and well worth the price. You have to try it if you haven't yet!
