I’ve had billing issues and was overcharged at my appointment in January. It is now October and the amount I am due and have confirmed with the office has still not been issued. Nothing but 10 months of headache inducing phone calls. I will not return until I have been properly refunded. Edit: I had my appointment with Dr. Smith, she’s really a great doctor and I believe in her practice. After speaking with her, she immediately sent me the refund of this incorrect payment from the beginning of the year. I’m grateful for the return, but this took 10 months to resolve and about 7 phone calls. I hope this doesn’t continue to occur. If you have an issue with billing, I recommend you speak to Dr. Smith directly to get it resolved.

Getting in touch with the office is an absolute nightmare. At first I was happy to have found her after doing lots of research. But, apparently, one is not allowed to bring different research to her that doesn't involve medical prescriptions, but was helping me in combination with her prescription. Without ever letting me know, she released me as her patient. I only found out when I tried to get a refill. There was no referral to another gynecologist who could possibly help me either. It's sad, black women are treated like that even by black female doctors.

I relocated here in 2006 and was 5 months pregnant with my Son. I was residing just minutes from DeKalb Hillandale Hospital now Emory. We intentionally chose our home location because it was close to the hospital. I searched my Insurance network diligently to find the right fit. Knowing that I wanted to deliver at that Hospital as it had jus opened a brand new Maternity section I asked for a list of Doctors with privileges there. Not to belabor the point and accolades, Dr. Dominque Smith was the Head in the Maternity Ward. The rest is history. Her passion for what she does has allowed her practice to grow in so many areas that service the WHOLE woman. Her care has carried me through some of the most difficult times of my life to helping me bring life into this world with the birth of my son in 2006 to helping me navigate my care fighting for my life from my Breast Cancer Diagnosis in 2010. She has been in the cutting edge of homeopathic care for women waaaay before the “trends” such as BioTee pellet hormone therapy. Her medicine practice is practical and makes sense. Premier Health Care has always been equipped with phenomenal healthcare physicians whom I am grateful to have acquainted with over the years. But over the past few years, Dr. Poitier has been one of the most amazing physicians Dr. Smith has brought on staff. They are the perfect marriage. I have since moved from the Decatur area. However I drive 45 minutes for the service and care. I now have my daughter under their care. I love this practice! This is by far THE best gynecology full care for woman in all of Atlanta. Don’t sleep on this Diamond.

My experience with Premier Health and Wellness was an amazing experience today! I couldn’t wait to see Dr. Poitier. She’s caring and very professional! Everyone else is very kind too. I’m so glad I was referred to this health clinic. Happy Thanksgiving to all! 🙏🏿💗

Dr. Smith was professional and proficient. I felt very comfortable during the review of my medical history and during the examination. The staff was also pleasant. Love the Xmas decorations.

Dr smith is a wonderful OBGYN, she is very patient and professional..she takes time during your visit to explain and goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met.

I met with Dr. Sonia Portier who was very thorough and patient with me. She went above and beyond to call the pharmacy to rectify a prescription. I appreciate the extra time she took with me to answer all of my questions and concerns.
