I was heart broken last week when they were remodeling. I love some burrito bowls, and Gezzo’s never disappoints. I ❤️ their salsas, and they’re reasonably priced.

My family LOVES Gezzo's! We go almost every Tuesday because kids eat free. :) It's also the best weekend spot if you're shopping on Jonesboro Rd. and want to grab a quick bite. We love every thing we've ever tried. It's literally my kids favorite restaurant. The staff is top notch. They are always so kind and personable to us. 5 stars for real!

2nd time this has happened I ordered via Uber eats 2 chicken burritos and their is no meat.

Will definitely be coming back! Excellent variety with vegetarian options as well. Great price and great seating and soft drinks! Only bad thing was a bit of a longer wait and the meats were a touch salty but nothing too distracting from the overall fantastic meal I had here.

Description on Uber eats doesn’t match what came. Paid $12 for this(see pic), which was supposed to have lettuce pico de gallo cheese etc. No answer to phone calls. A best reviewed restaurant in the area is a joke.

My wife received a gift card for 25.00, I was not sure we would have enough on it to cover both our plates. We had more than enough in both our costs and plate. Found a new place to go, being from griffin, its a bit of a ride at either location, but so well worth it. We were at the one in McDonough, we were not at all disappointed with the amount of food and the taste of the food. The young lady that made my chicken fajita salad which was huge btw, closely resembles Millie Bobbie Brown, she did a phenomenal job making my salad. The taste was also excellent. The restaurant was clean, the music was good, not what i would listen to, but still tasteful. Hopefully when we return to the one on Bill Gardner pkwy, its closer, we get the same results, otherwise I will have to make the 25 mile ride to the one in McDonough'. The bowl was so large they had to put it into a to go box.

Yeah I have been putting this review off for years however today was a turning point. The absolute “cheapness” of this place when it comes to add-ons is ridiculous. Let me elaborate, if you order a bowl as I did today you’ll notice the sheer hesitation of adding a normal amount of rice. I had to ask twice for “a little more rice”. They also skim out on whatever protein you choose. The worst today was lettuce, she added maybe 4 pieces, I’m like more lettuce & she proceeded to grab 1.5-2 pieces. I mean absolutely ridiculous, if you’re paying over $10 for a bowl this seriously should not be an issue. Just compare it to the competition like moes, chipotle; you wont find these types of issues at those establishments. Now granted, this isn’t an employee problem it’s an owner/manager problem, I know they’re training their employees to hand half spoonfuls of rice, protein, vegetables, etc. This particular location should be ashamed of itself for the blatant way of trying to save a penny over something someone is paying for regardless. Should have taken a photo of the lettuce, but not to worry I will literally go waste another $10 just to showcase it on this review for moral reasons haha.

This is the only place I go to where the ground beef is drenched in grease! They never think to drain it. For this reason I don't get anything with beef! Other than, food is good.

Johnathan,Quentin and Ethan made were fast and made good food!, I was impressed when the cashier was taking orders and making my quesadilla!

One of the best visits after football practice!!! The employees Dax and Kai were very patient and kind in their service to my boy. The food was well made, not just thrown together. Dax was very pleasant and completed our transaction with her warm smile. This is something not given these days in restaurants and I appreciated it greatly.

The kids and I always love coming to Gezzos in McDonough, GA for their fresh burrito bowls and salads. Today we had a small issue with our food and the management showed us some grace. Thank you for your wonderful customer service.

Let me start this review by saying the staff was super nice and extremely friendly. This was our first time here and I loved the concept, the chipotle concept is tried and true and it works. The variety was awesome and that’s a plus. The issue is the griddle. It needs to be cleaned. From the looks and taste of the food that came off of it, it hasn’t been cleaned enough. Having a seasoned griddle is one thing but when the griddle is leaving it’s burnt taste on the items cooked on it, it’s a past due cleaning. I actually saw how they scraped the burnt off the griddle and your staff needs better training. Please take this review as constructive criticism because I love the concept and the ability to succeed is there!

Come here all the time get the same thing 3 chicken egg rolls m with chipotle sauce … order over the phone per usual and told the young man make sure they were chicken because last time the slid a vegetable egg roll in my bag. This time I’m eating on egg roll #2 and there is a king piece of hair in side mixed in with all the vegetables in my egg roll . Idk if I ever will come here again .. after 4 years

Tonight was my first time trying this restaurant, and I’m a bit disappointed. I placed an online order for Curbside pick-up. I called when I got there, and a young lady said she would bring my food out. After 20 minutes, I went inside. I didn’t want to be pushy because I know most places are short-staffed. When I came in I asked for my order, and a young lady gave it to me. It clearly said Curbside on the receipt, and there was no apology, or an acknowledgment of any kind. My only issue is that, if they were short-staffed (which they weren’t), someone could’ve told me when I called and I would’ve just come inside. I wasted 20 minutes because I was trying to be patient, but apparently they just forgot. The food is tasty and seasoned well. The staff seemed friendly enough from what I observed. It’s the lack of communication that disappoints me. If Curbside isn’t possible, it should probably be removed from the website, that way people don’t waste their time. The next time I’ll just go to Locust Grove and compare.

Maria gave outstanding customer service and showed the patience of an angel when dealing with a young rude customer. She kept her composure and gave her kind service. My companion and I spent our ride talking about how well she handled the situation! To top it off the food was incredible, fresh and we loved the incredible flavors!!!

Over all I liked it. It is a quick way to get a Mexican food fix. They make it up to order while you watch. The food is better than the very casual atmosphere, but it would be perfect for take out.

This used to be my favorite burrito place but the food and service is so inconsistent it’s always a risk now. At least I won’t fill up on chips!

One of my favorite quick hangouts. Because I am pescatarian I do not eat meat. It is one of few Mexican places that has fish and shrimp options. The staff is delightful and the food great.

So great. The layout of the restaurant is very inviting. I love how it is set up with the rustic design. The employee that helped me was so nice and informative. Told him it was my first time there and he told me everything I needed to know and was very patient. I was hesitant about getting shrimp on a burrito but he assured me that people do it all the time and that it will be good. It was fantastic. The shrimp is made to order and the flavor is delicious and you get free chips. Like a waay better Moe’s. I will definitely be coming back to try other menu items!!

So good. I had the southwest chicken eggrolls. You can buy as many as you would like for two bucks a piece. They came with two sauces and I enjoyed them so much. I was in the parking lot waiting for someone and it literally took like 4 mins. They fresh, crispy and delicious. I’m excited to try more items on the menu.

I’ve been coming to this place for years and have always loved it. The customer service is top notch, but aside from the food, I come for Maria. She’s so friendly, and always makes me feel welcome. She even knows me by order now, which should speak on how much I love this place. 10 stars if I could.

We were thoroughly impressed by Brandon’s customer service and friendliness. We have been coming here for the past year and the customer has always been lackluster and a lot of the staff barely make eye contact or articulate themselves loud enough to be heard. But Brandon and the young lady who help make our plates (can’t remember her name) we’re both personable, polite, professional and knowledgeable.

This location always gives great service and tasty food! The crews here are friendly. Thanks for taking care of your customers. They keep the tables cleaned for the next guests. We always enjoy popping into the Gezzos off Jonesboro for a monster burrito!

We ordered Friday lunch from Gezzo's on Jonesboro Rd. Maria was very accommodating given we need lunches delivered by 10:30am. We are an elementary school and lunch times start early. Our food was delivered hot and organized by each order. Our teachers and staff had many compliments about the quality and quantity of the food. We will be ordering again!

This is my go to Tex-Mex place in Henry county. The staff as a whole is always amazing and so friendly. The food is always fresh and made individually to cater my needs. Kai did a fantastic job today making my food! The young lady who helped him was also amazing but I didn’t catch her name! Thank you Gezzo’s McDonough Team!
