Don’t stay here unless you are desperate. The EPA should shut this place down now for sulfur bacteria in the water, unvented poor burning room heaters and black mold in the air conditioners and bathroom pipes. Multiple rooms with ground in dirt in the carpet and the well water stinks like crazy and you can’t drink or brush your teeth with it. AC from multiple customers blow out dirt and mold during summer, superfluous cleanings don’t help and owner will not deep clean them when they are over 15 years old. Unvented poor burning heaters will give you headaches. Owner is the cheapest person, mostly everything from Dollar Store. Lowest grade possible for toilet paper, shower curtains, soap, toilet seats. Beds are over 15 years old and cause major back issues. Furniture over 30 years old. Smoke detectors don’t actually work, too cheap. Owner is the worse customer service person in the world, he bully’s desperate people. Owner keeps deposits, and will berate you if you ask for any service. Every service fix is cheap and not done correctly. Any issues with the room will get blamed on you. Read the exetremely long disclosure list on the website, that will tell you all you need to know about the owner. Owner will try to move you up from a trash room to a newly redone room with all the cheapest stuff, he does the bait and switch. Owner uses Bath police and unsubstantiated claims to remove people that give him a difficult time. Read the disclaimer list on their website before you stay there..

WARNING ⚠️ Stay away! Mike is a huge bully. He suspected smoking and myself and husband were made to leave the day after we paid $460 for our weekly rate. No proof of smoking in room was shown nor was our money refunded for the days we didnt stay. I was confronted by Mike and Ed by them entering my room and shutting the door behind them. Bath police were called and sadly admitted this is a common occurrence. Rooms are disgusting, water is unfit for human consumption and the fire detector in our room didn't work.

Well I live in pa an work in Cuyahoga hts I stayed here for a little over a year I have stayed in motels in the area for 4 years an I have to say this place was the quietest place I stayed at an there was never no problems here's well yes I go home to pa on weekends but I be back here Monday night after work stay here at ohio motel mon thru Thursday night and go home to pa after work ok so 5.out of 7 I was here my room was clean I had a nice size frig. Microwave an a full size bed nice 40inch tv an Wi-Fi an I also had a good chair to sit in an my car was Wright outside my door I met the gentleman that runs it he was nice an polite an he was always available if I had any questions I met the owner of this place as well he was nice an polite as well I have no complaints with my stay here at ohiomotel

Both Mike the owner and Ed, who helped sign me in when I arrived were very personable. I enjoyed my stay in room 8, very nice and recently remodeled. I was honestly more comfortable in the bed here than in some fancy 4-star hotels I've been to! And it was quieter too! I would defintely stay again in the future!

This place has definitely earned a five-star review from me. I just spent the last 2 weeks staying here. I definitely recommend this place over any other extended stay motel in the area. I must admit that It's not the prettiest place I've been, but it sure as heck makes up for that quickly. I like that they guided me through their available rooms upon arrival, and let me choose one before asking me for money. The manager, Ed, is a friendly enough guy and was helpful throughout my stay. The room I chose wasn't their most updated, but It was comfortable, everything in the room functioned like it should, and it was a lot cleaner than what I had expected from an extended stay motel. Cleaner in fact, than some Hilton's I've stayed in. My entire stay here was peaceful and quiet. The other guests were very respectful, I felt safe and secure. Mike, the owner, spends time on site working on his to do list to make it a nicer place, you wouldn't notice him though, unless you spend time outside your room. He's pretty low key. I feel like He's a no bullsh!t kind of guy, and it reflects as a pleasant and respectful, drama free lodging experience. The room price won't empty your wallet, but the good food nearby might.

Great place to stay if the location between CLE and Akron works for you. The room was spotless and it was very quiet there. Lots of TV channels and the internet was fast enough for me to work on easily.

I had the pleasure of staying here for about 3 months. Mike and Ed (property managers) are always just one phone call away. This room was my home. I couldn't wait to get there every night because I knew I was going to sleep well. I felt safe. A/C blows cold. Convenient laundry room open and available 24 hrs a day. And I enjoyed the many drawers for my clothes. The pictures on the site do not do justice to the size of this place. It was perfect. Thanks guys!

I moved back to Ohio from Nevada and needed a place to stay while I found permanent housing. Mike the owner and Ed the manager are stand up guys. Very clean rooms and they keep a tight ship. Very safe as well for a single lady.

Great place for working folks who need a place for a week or more. Clean and safe without the expense of extras we never have time to use anyway.

This beats any extended stay location in the area. Mike is very easy to talk to. Beds are very comfy, pillows are lovely, Roku TV and WiFi work great! Fridge and freezer is cold, nice desk for work. it was exactly what I needed when I needed it. Located near a large amount of stores and restaurants. Just went to one of the nearby parks today as well. I highly recommend them for short or long term.

Ohio motel, definitely worth the price and the location is excellent. We looked at an efficiency for just me and the wife and it was nice. Now I regret letting it go and wish I hadn't.it would of been convenient. Now I'll have to save up money to see if we can get An efficiency & Mike the owner is not a bad person to deal with. Very easy to talk to as well as he listens to what you have to say. Again I regret letting it go and wish I hadn't. I definitely would like to stay in one of the efficiencies if it comes open again!!

The room was clean, the management and staff (Ed, Mike and Heather) were all a pleasure to get to deal with. The location was outstanding for me. I have only good stuff to say about The Ohio Motel and I'll definitely return for their services again when I'm local. Thank you!

Stayed here for 2 months. Mike and Ed are extremely nice and laid back. The room was extremely clean and was newly renovated. It was very quiet and peaceful staying there and neighbors were all very friendly and easy going. Price was very reasonable compared to a lot of other motels we looked at in the area especially given the location and peace and quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone and if we ever need a place to stay again this will be our first option from now on. I can’t say enough great things about this place.

The rooms were clean, affordable, and spacious. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again!

Stayed here for two weeks, and it was a great experience. Honestly, I was not expecting much because of their rates, but this is the place to stay if you're ever nearby. My room was clean, and I never felt unsafe. Managers were very friendly and flexible. Couldn't ask for much more.

Mike is an exceptional owner and person who cares about his guest. When we arrived we notified him of a wasp nest he promptly took the nest down. The room was very clean cosy and comfortable. The location is very nice quiet and relaxing but not far from restaurants and plenty of shopping. Mike went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend staying here my girlfriend and I enjoyed our two week stay very much and will return here without any hesitation.

Nice quiet place to stay in a nice area. Lived there for a year and the rooms are very comfortable and the owner and manager are both good guys who take care of anything and are on site. Great place to stay whether for short term or long term. I highly recommend.

Clean safe n secure. Mike n Ed do a great job running the place. For me having a clean safe n secure place to stay long or short term is most important. Ohio motel does that. I'm a returning customer for that reason.
