This is a shame.. and I feel sorry that people don't know the truth about this place because of multiple pictures on their website that are misleading but when I stopped in the other day I was very disappointed and concerned about what the kitchen looked like if this is what the lobby pick up area looked like, a family was sitting at the table eating so I waited and took pictures for public information and health concerns. The floors were very dirty and insulation was falling out of the ceiling not to mention as soon as you walk in they have old plywood with cob webs on the windows.

What fantastic find. Very fine quality sushi rolls. Reasonably priced. Extremely deliscious. I got the Cry me a river roll and sure nuff had my eyes watering. I also got the Baby Metal roll. It was really good. I love seaweed salad and the Baby Metal roll has it in it. Im contently full and glad i stopped in. Ive been wanting sushi, but have been holding off for it and now ive quenched that craving. Good job and nice to meet the owners.

Cute cafe located inside the library that features Japanese dishes, snacks bubble tea and other drinks. Stop by and check it out! Shop local Edit: I removed a star because I am not impressed with their new location. It's so gloomy and dark inside. I know they were rushed into this place because of what the city did to them, but it really is not a convenient location nor is it welcoming and still has too much night club vibes. Additionally, I waited forever for anyone to wait on me, I was gonna order sushi but after about 15 minutes of waiting, then killing time walking around browsing I just left.

The owner is a sweetheart, and the items I ordered were very good. She is still setting things up to expand. She has coolers for take out drinks and ice cream and packaged Japanese snacks. I'm going back to try her Bento Boxes.

Um... so it's alright. The food tastes a little funky and I don't think the gyozas I ordered was cooked all the way. I will try some more sushi, but I'm definitely not paying for $40 of this food again...

1st time visiting, almost turned around and walked back out the door because of how the interior looked. 1☆ for atmosphere. But we stayed and gave them a chance. Happy we did! The food was fantastic, very delicious! Would definitely eat from there again but it probably be take-out only. The service was very friendly. Kinda slow, considering we were the only customers there. 🤔 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wonderful experience. Service was lovely, food was delicious! Presentation 10/10. Loved my jelly tea and sushi! Got to play a fun game with my husband while waiting for food:). Passed the time so quickly! And to top it off, we had four different dishes and paid less than $40 for great quality. So well done! We will definitely be back.

absolutely incredible! got takeout from here for the first time tonight after realizing how close the place was. every singe roll was a hit, which hardly ever happens, especially since my boyfriend is a little picky about sushi. the crab rangoons were so crispy & flavorful and the miso soup was hot and so so good. it was just getting a little busy when i went in, but the staff was quick and so nice!!! we got 4 rolls, and the price for the close to perfect quality is really amazing. i spent about half what i would spend at sakura & got just as much, if not more food, at the same, if not better quality. really, really great. i will definitely be recommending this place and for sure will come back soon, i think the little table outside would be perfect for a lunch date & i would love to try their drinks! thank you!

Deceiving cover. Amazing Book! Trust me. Go inside and enjoy the unbelievably friendly staff and truly tasty food. They've only been at this location for 2 months, so many more improvements coming. The kids loved trying the Takoyaki (took a pic too late...gobbled up). Ramen, Udon and Curry were great. Great shopping here too.. Highly recommend.

There's not many places where you can get some great green tea, fresh sushi rolls and a delicious bowl of ramen, in the area but this place is a gem for sure. Such a diverse menu for a little place and just has a fun and inviting atmosphere. I will be back for some taiyaki for breakfast!!!

We had a great time. The beef ramen were excellent. Nice vegan options for my son. Boba was offered with regular or plant milk and was very tasty. Very family friendly atmosphere but would also be a fun place to go with friends or a date. They have a nice rewards and birthday program as well. We went during an event and got to meet Hello Kitty and got a free slice of delicious cake.

Absolutely every single time I come in to get Sushi or Ramen/Japanese Curry... I get the friendliest service possible. Sushi is always great, and the prices are incredibly reasonable!

I think most of the good reviews were based off their Boba tea which was amazing but the curry, although edible, reminded me of an Asian Dinty Moore canned stew. I brought the sushi home because I thought at least my teenagers would eat it. They did not. Ended up throwing it away. It's a shame because both people working were dolls and would do so well if not for that food.

Got a bunch of sushi here last night and it was incredible! I am extremely picky when it comes to sushi but this place hit the spot! definitely will be back!

I have no idea how this place has a 4.8 rating without it being a complete lie or filled with bots. Seriously, there can't be this many people in an area that find anything this place has as acceptable human food. I have been to plenty of noodle shops both in the US and Japan. I can't even express how terrible our experience was. Not only from the food but from the pictures which show a completely different building that isn't as dilapidated. As soon as I walked in their was shift in the breeze but I went with high hopes and almost asked how they made any type of homemade noodle in a non-existent kitchen. After we ordered and waited for what seemed like an eternity one of the workers went to a different room and ruffled through some stock...Yes stock, it was all pre-packaged...How do I know this. Well the sound of a microwave quickly confirmed the fact that the only thing that was a 4.8 is that the place really exists in the universe. After this I finally started to pilfer through the reviews and find what horror was coming our way. Long story short...If you have nothing better to do in your week roll your dice and have some fun! After choosing to dine in and it taking over 40 minutes while we had the worst gyoza appetizer, that even Schwan's gets right, we opted to "take it to go" as to just not walk out on the bill. If you are looking for any type of culinary experience....I can't even say the offer anything close to that.

Great food, wonderful and friendly owner. Every time I go I order something new and most of the time I'm not sure what I'm getting (my own limited experience with Japanese food) but it is always yummy and keeps me coming back for more! My 14 yr old son lives the udon noodles.

Wow, this food is delicious! I ordered the Sukiyaki and it was amazing.

It reminds me of an industrial punk place, like in Portland Oregon, in a good way. Super nice people, great tea, the udon was great too. I can't wait to go on movie night. There's lots of Japanese and Korean food and drinks to be had as well.
