I'm not from Hudson. First time here, why is there a framed picture of the January 6th insurrection? Not exactly a welcoming vibe....

Walked in to a mostly empty bar at dinner time and the bartender didn’t even look at us. Let alone send someone to our table. We just left. This is similar to an experience I had here years ago. This time I decided to review it. Luckily there is a nice welcoming restaurant right next door!

Put simply, Kepner’s is Hudson’s dive bar. It’s an institution. If you’re looking to have a few drinks with friends or even just go out on your own, there really is no other game in town.

This place stinks! I attended keppners for my Grandpa’s 75th birthday and we both ordered cheeseburgers. The food took at least 50 minutes to arrive. Food was cold, they forgot to give us mustard, and we asked to speak to a manager. After 20 minutes of waiting for a manager, a man named Kevin came to our table, he claimed to be the boss but I’m not quite sure honeslty because he seemed to be… slow. He was unfriendly and didn’t even apologize to me and my grandpa for the inconvenience. My grandpa served in Vietnam and is beloved by his community and all I wanted to do was give him a great birthday that could possibly be one of his last. Manager Kevin is crass and disrespectful. We will not be returning anytime soon! Also, he has a wife and kids and apparently he’s banging one of the waitresses.

Quaint little hole in the wall bar. Food looked good but didn't get to try it. Service was good.

Everything I had was phenomenal! I was also able to bring my dog on the patio!! My group had spinach dip, funnel cake fries, mac&cheese w/ bbq pork, and wings. Very very good!!!

Perfect neighborhood Tavern. Large craft beer selection, well made food and very good service. Set in a cute little town.

Sooooo good. The gals tending the bar were awesome and very accommodating.

Ask what a shot of so-called "top shelf" liquor costs before you order it. Best to play it safe, get you a nice warm draft, the prices are on the chalkboard. If bottles and cans are your thing, they're usually cold, depending. Good food.

We were actually planning on going to dinner to the restaurant next door but they weren't serving outside so they were full so we went to kepner's instead. I'm really glad that we did. They had some unique beers on draft and typical bar type food that was delicious. It would take you hours to read and look all the entertaining pictures on the walls and ceiling. If you're in the mood for a beer and bar food this is the place to go.

Always feel like home!! Never feel uncomfortable alone or with a loved one. This a great fun sandwich restaurant!!

Called in a pick up order , what a disappointment this place is. I don’t mind spending the money , but if you’re going to up charge you should be serving quality food. All I got was a burger and boneless wings and fries with 6 chicken wings. Fries were the only thing that was good. Burger was not well done as I asked it was very pink. The boneless wings were hard and were horrible, and the chicken wings had barely any meat on them and tasted like they weren’t completely done. Couldn’t even eat them . I was charged 65.00 for this and it was worth maybe 20 dollars. Like I said I don’t mind spending the money., but for quality food. It’s sad that the restaurant industry has become a low quality industry. And they gave me only two sauces for all the chicken I got. This was definitely the first and the last time i will ever eat here. Do better please!

Simply the Best! Best food, best staff and best place to be on a Wednesday night!

If a (clean and safe) dive bar on Main St is your thing, this is THE place for you. Welcoming staff, good range of beers and spirits, comfort bar food, good company, plenty (but not too many) sports screens AND a music jukebox that you can choose music via an app. I love this bar!

Best dive bar around. Get the spicy garlic boneless wings, and follow up with the garbage burger. Great drink selection.

We went with a large group and our server B was outstanding. Very knowledgeable in her drinks and food and incredibly attentive. I have had few good experiences there, but was pleasantly surprised! Usually the bartender with curly hair is standoffish and rude, but our server was amazing! Highly recommend!

The Fat Pat for the win! That burger is magnificent! I was also glad to see that they had a beer from our favorite Akron brewery, R. Shea Brewing. Supporting local is in style. Place was packed, but we didn't have to wait long for anything. Good food, good beer, and Jessica (our server) was busy, but breezing around that place without skipping a beat. Under new management (Lauren) this bar has become a fantastic place to hang out with good friends and enjoy great food and drinks!

Came in for dinner and a beverage. Staff is very friendly. I had the shrimp po boy, very good.
