Very spacious for three families of 4! Clean place with amazing views. The land was big for the kids to run around safely. The water was perfect for the kids ranging from 1-11years old. Great location on the water. We ran out of propane so I text the number provided and got an immediate response. We are very pleased with our stay and experience. We plan to book again through Freshwater Vacation Rentals. We Highly Recommend!

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway!! Perfect location, secluded, and beautiful! The weather was perfect, the water was beautiful. We had a campfire our first night. We brought firewood, charcoal, etc. but found most of these things already stocked. The cabin was just as it looked in the pictures! The bathrooms were renovated and beautiful. We went to pictured rocks the next day and it was the perfect midspot to stay. Definitely a northern woods paradise. We hope to make this a yearly adventure!!

We enjoyed a stay at the quaint little Schoolhouse cottage in Eagle Harbor, MI. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the front porch that overlooks the harbor for our morning coffee. We were easily able to reach hiking trails and beaches from our location. Loved it!!

This lake house was amazing, one of our favorites so far! Very clean, tastefully decorated, and beautiful views. The house was well stocked with the essentials and the master bedroom was so relaxing. Easy house instructions with little to do for the guests. Freshwater company was a top notch company to work with. We will definitely stay at their homes again. Thank you for the wonderful weekend.

Thimbleberry Cottage was just perfect for our family vacation. The cabin was well stocked and spotless. The lake was crystal clear and the views are stunning. We were even treated to a bear in the driveway on our last night! We will definitely rent from Freshwater Vacation Rentals again!

My family and I (including our doggy) stayed at the Bayside Bungalow and loved it! The home exceeded our expectations. It was just as described and extremely clean. The space had excellent views of Lake Huron and the space was very comfortable to just hang out with family. Freshwater Vacations provided excellent and responsive communication throughout the entire process. They answered all our questions and were easy to work with. The space was exactly what we were looking for in a mini holiday getaway. We hope to stay here again soon!!

We held our family gathering here in July and really enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen was very well appointed with all of the utensils and tableware you'd need. We also really enjoyed all of the board games, large lounging areas, and canoe and two kayaks. This was the perfect homebase for 7 of our family members. We can't wait to explore more of Michigan soon!

Stone house in Mc Millan This vacation rental was like a home away from home Very clean and had lots of the essentials like spices and aluminum foil on site to make traveling and cooking easier. Would love to stay here again *Caution to families with crawling infants there is a stair way with a gate but the gate doesn’t adequately cover the opening to the basement stairs.

We stayed in "The Lodge". The cabin was clean and very spacious. Perfect place for our family of 5 and enough room for visitors to sit and hang out. Could not beat the view of Indian Lake both morning and night! We will definitely be returning for another stay!

We had a wonderful time! The house had more than enough space for our family to not feel on top of one another. The beds were all super comfy and the kitchen had all the utensils we could have possibly needed. Only downside (for our family, I'm sure not for all) is that the time of year we traveled (early April) there were no fish due to mating season. That's of course not a reflection of the rental, but more of an fyi to others fishing. My kids loved the little beach area to play in, even in the cooler weather. Town is only about a 10 min drive for any necessities. 10/10 recommend for a nice, quiet get away!

Really enjoyed the stay! Well equipped (we brought way too much stuff we didn’t need!) and clean. Absolutely beautiful view. One minor critique…beds were a little uncomfortable, but not unbearable. Also wished the deck got hosed off, but again that’s a minor thing. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. We came for here for a week of relaxation, and it was that and more. The lake is really beautiful. The water is really clear and a great place to go for a swim, go boating, kayaking, or fishing, etc. It is also a really quiet place to relax with your family. No matter how long or short you stay, you are guaranteed to have the trip of a lifetime that you will most definitely remember forever. Such as me and my family, we had really enjoyed our stay here and we hope to come back. Outside of the house itself, there are many places to go to and visit. Some places we went to were: Mackinaw City, Petoskey, and Gaylord. Once again, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back. One hundred percent a five star rating from us. Thank you.

What an amazing vacation rental. Those views!! Super close to Copper Harbor, waterfalls, Eagle River, etc. We went to Jampot Bakery just minutes down the road and stocked up on all things sweet and delicious jams. Our 8 & 10 yo boys loved jumping around on the rocks and splashing around in Lake Superior. The house is stocked very well. Anything you may have forgotten is there for you to use! Well appointed space, would definitely return again!

Fun and relaxing.... 6 days on Eagle Point left all of us with fond memories. From fishing and boating to world class biking and hiking on Mackinac Island, We all had our favorites. Mama Mia and the Pink Pony offered good food and drink with a great view or museum to explore. The house is in good shape, clean and well equipped. Bonfires were well attended. The perfect setting on the peninsula offered two viewing areas for sunrise and sunset capturing many moments. Don't forget the paddleboat. We were lucky enough to have a 10 year old sea captain who lead us on tours of Brevort Lake. Thank you for the opportunity to share. We will return someday.

The West Hagerman Lake House to the rescue! Our family, from all over the country, has been planning a trip to the U.P. for the past year. Two weeks prior to our stay the property we had booked realized they had us double booked. We were left without a place to stay. To our benefit, the West Hagerman Lake House was available. The house was more than we could have ever expected. Our 4 kids were thrilled with all the water toys available. Even the adults enjoyed the stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, and the canoe. We didn't even need to worry about life jackets, as there were plenty of lifejackets for all sizes. The front yard was huge, and our kids had a blast playing wiffle ball. There were also tons of yard games available (cornhole, spikeball, wiffleball, etc.). We spent many nights by the bonfire, making s'mores and memories! There was no need go into town for firewood, as there was enough firewood to last a lifetime. Now for the inside; it was huge! There was plenty of space, even enough for my 18 year old nephew to get away from his 7 year old cousins hahaha. The kitchen was setup perfectly, with a huge table to fit our entire family of 12. It is equipped with 2 sinks and 2 trash bins as well as stocked with spices, utensils, pans, crockpots, griddles, etc. The views from the house were absolutely gorgeous and we loved spending time swimming and fishing off of the dock. We cannot wait to come back. This house was amazing!

Only an hour drive to a beautiful location! Gorgeous sunsets! Plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. Fresh, spotless, comfy beds, plenty of towels. A great grill and a fab fire pit. Could use a few more wine glasses!

Brought my grandkids (ages 2-6) up for 4 days and they had a ball. Small but very pretty lake to swim, kayak, and fish on. A nice beach too. In the middle of the forest with a lot of great places to hike. The cottage is very nice with plenty of room and great views. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We all had a good time and couldn't be happier.

Spacious, updated home; beautiful town; the location couldn’t be beat. Easily walkable to the beach, shops, restaurants, movie theater, etc. The patio was our favorite hang out spot. Our family loved our first stay in South Haven!

*noc landing is where we stayed* Great house on the bay, magnificent breeze and scenery. The wildlife was spectacular and could be seen in the yard every evening. The local communities offered a great mix of small businesses and chains for convenience. The house itself provided many amenities and cooking dinner was a breeze. The communication and check in/check out was very nice. My only regret was not booking longer. Great place to stay in the UP!

Stayed at Copper Water Cottage at Carp Lake for a snowmobile trip. Communication with Freshwater was amazing from the start. This is our 2nd time staying at the same cabin. It's spacious yet cozy, a lot of extras included in the kitchen, tons of extra blankets, nice fireplace. There is even a Blackstone with propane provided. Very quiet area in the winter. We have only ever been in the winter but definitely highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at this cabin! We have loved it both years. It is so beautiful and cozy! Sitting by the fire and watching the snow fall is so peaceful! We went hiking at the near by state park and spent a day at Ski Brule. Just staying spending time at the cabin is so peaceful! The hosts have thought of everything! We will be back!
