The place is good for a family get a way. There is a lot of attractions for the kids and a good relaxing ambience for adults. There are 2 restaurants,one none alcoholic and the second with a bar. The food is affordable but the portions are small. Very good views. Carry your own tissue because the toilets have no tissue or running water. Entrance is free. They have bicycles for hire, zip lining, merry go round a and remote cars for kids.

A great way to spend a day with the family. This park consists of a wide variety of activities like Zip lining, boat rides, archery, a maze, quad bike rides for kids, horse ride etc It caters to the needs of every age group. The prices of rides are very affordable. Suggest the property can be maintained a bit more in order to attract the tourists and drastically improve the toilet facilities as it was horrible with no water! A special mention to the Archery guy who was very polite, kind and patient with us while explaining how to take a shot. Overall a good experience.

A nice place for destination wedding. Its not far from Nairobi. Anybody can plan his or her weddinng function. A dam, lush green park and banquet hall perfect place for celebration during all kind of all weather. Wedding, Birtday, Corporate Annual meeting can be arranged there. You just try.

Machakos People's Park, The place to be. Indeed a cool, fun, beautiful and relaxing scenic place with amazing landscaping done. They also offer well prepared and delicious meals. The Park has great ambiance for your party with friends and a great place to take children out for outdoor activities. Thus convenient for couples, children, friends, and family. It has a wide range of activities both for kids and adults ( including zip lining sailing, maze, merry go round, amphitheater with live music, skating etc.).

Such a nice place to visit as a family with a range of activities for both kids and adults. I tried the maze horse riding and zip lining. Most activities are 100bob zip lining was 500 which was fair. There is a hotel on site but you can carry your food and have a picnic as there are lots of sitting spaces. The road was good too.

I really enjoyed it, very cool, good welcomed and very well setup. Only needed keep the cleanliness and watering the flowers. Hopefully to visit again with other colleagues. Keep up. Hog bless your works, families and all the workers.

A nice place for family day out. Especially kids will love this place as there is a variety of games. It also has the most affordable zeeplinining experience. Other options include Archery, Quad bike, Darts, Merry go round and much more. It's only 20 minutes drive from Mombasa Road Machakos Junction.

It's a great place for those who are looking for some peace and quiet however the day we were there was public holiday and was quite crowded and noisy but other times, it would be a place to enjoy. There is a restaurant but you can bring your own food and have a picnic in the area. They offer affordable zip lining but not to the standards that are required(great for those who want to have some fun though).

It was ok. the ambience is good,lots of sitting spaces,security is on point,free entrance,lots of fun games which you pay to access(I personally enjoyed archery) Cons: Water is a problem,we could not use the washrooms near us due to lack of water so we had to walk to the furthest toilets for kids which had water😕(if you have kids,prepare yourself well 😂,they may not get to the washrooms),no soap in the washrooms too,the sunflowers have dried up,water issues

Drove from Nairobi to the park which was a smooth 1and a half hour drive . The park is free entrance and the activities are relatively affordable. Ranging from 100_500. Activities include zipling, maze,biking,etc

It's quite a distance from the main town, but once you get there, you realise Machakos Peoples Park is a small piece of heaven. Set on the plains of Machakos County, the park is a oasis that provides a welcome break from the sun-kissed grasslands that surround the area. It offers a variety of fun activities for children and a good outing options families. Activities include zip lining, mazes, a theme park, trams, merry go round, horse and camel riding, quard bikes, bicycling, hikes, roller coaster, swings, darts, archery, face painting etc Apart from a amazing buffet of fun activities, there are good amenities such as clean and decent washrooms and a well equipped restaurant. You will find vendors across the park offering toys and foodstuffs, as well as services such as instant photography. The security is also good since there is a police post inside and an array of CCTV cameras around the place.

Good place although structures are dilapidated. It seems like there is no maintenance of the equipment there. If you visit the place with kids, the people selling and offering kids services will nag you, you won't even have a piece of mind.

Very well Managed facility. Beautifully Manicured and with eateries to take care of the visitors. Great place to take your Kids. For the Grownups, the Zip line and Boat rides comes in Handy.

It is a neat place and I had wanted to see it for myself following the rave reviews. The trees, grass and paved walkways are unlike Machakos and its "dry" tag. There is even a man made pond/dam/water feature though, it is slowly drying up. There is a Zipline for those who want the thrill, a bouncing castle for the young kids as well as a maze for older kids. A restaurant and a bar are also included herein. Overall it was a good idea though, its location from the town could be a hindrance to some.

It's located in Machakos county next to new governor office. Has got expansive compound, ample parking and a serene environment. It's good for family outing over the weekend. The park has got much to over from bicycle ride, horse riding, camel riding, archery etc. The climate here is generally cool

The park is a great recreational space. With ample space and lush gardens, the People's park is a good place to unwind. It has an artificial lake which is a good place for boat rides. There are enough amenities such as loos, restaurants and an upcoming conference centre. The grounds could also host events. If well managed, it could be a money maker for Machakos County.
