This Hotel is famous for holding meetings e.g harambee etc. Their meals are delicious! T-tot has free WiFi within that has terrific streaming speed. This hotel boosts of it's strategic location, at the centre of Machakos town, making it easy to access from supper markets, stages, fuel stations and churches. It has spacious rooms with many tables

The first time I had a meal here it's still the most tantalizing kienyeji chicken I have ever had in my life till today, and this place has continued to change with time as competition grows, now there's Wi-Fi,a large meeting room, the same sumptuous meals, incredible tea, samosas that are really sweet, the same chicken kienyeji..it doesn't disappoint at all,and with a branch in mlolongo..

The greatest samosas of all time. The food is always good. The place is always full of people. There are two related establishment s, the second one with green branding is where you can get the delicious porridge served in a calabash. Other than the waiters getting too used to customers - hence occassionally unprofessional, both establishments are very clean and a must stop by for people in transit through Machakos. One surprising thing was they do not allow customers to pay by credit/debit cards.

Zero value for money, food is bland and basic and the waiters are slow and unresponsive. Nostalgia is the only thing keeping this place alive, soon it will fade.

It is a long standing establishment with Samosas to die for.. apart from that some beef soup.. the rest of the menue is ok but lacks that sparkle.. with each passing day it will become just another restaurant if not careful.. the service is just about ok.. no water at the ablutions.. but it still is the good old dads restaurant...

  • 4/5 Mourine M. 1 year ago on Google

The food is very satisfying. The chapatis are so big one and your good to go and the price range is good 4people for less than Ksh 1000. The customer service is also amazing. 10/10 would definitely recommend

  • 5/5 Jaslyn G. 1 year ago on Google
Try their samosas....they are AMAZING!! Plus, if you know alittle bit of history of the place, service and quality hasn't changed in years and that's because it's a family owned restaurant Please try their Gizzards and chips They have had this on their menu for more than 20years...I would know... Go at around 4-6pm Childhood memories

I have been going to this place since I was 7. I wonder why it has taken me this long to talk about it. It's one of the best gems of Machakos. Eating here for the last 2 decades is just refreshing. Having the same set menu and same waiters and same standards is just remarkable. Kalulu has served us well for all these years. This is where product meets value for money. Keep doing well and making simple look very expensive.

The quality of service delivery is top-notch. The food (tea, samosas, chapatis, etc.) is only next to michelin Star Standards πŸ‘Œ

Getting a parking was a nightmare, if you reach after 10:00 am on Saturdays you might not get their bone soup, couldn't understand why they have refused to adjust to market trends.

The t tot ones are called sambusa, not samosa, those are different, they are famous, have always been sambusa, unless they changed to become samosa, i dont think so.....
