I’d go there over and over again! Stayed in the luxury suite. And oh the views from up there, the meals set on the balcony and the sound if the waterfall! Perfect weekend getaway or a therapeutic hideout. Joyce was charming and helpful, and the whole team too. Then there’s the fun in the water! I wasn’t confident enough to do the dive, but the rafting, and rowing head-on into the heart of the waterfall was scary and thrilling in the end; guided by their expert, Dennis. It’s an awesome getaway!

If you're looking for a nice hide out to unwind, this is the place. The luxury tents are addictive - the ambience at a five star level. The food portions are fulfiling. Everyone should try out their tilapia. Eric and Joy - asanteni sana.

Not recommended if you are looking for a quiet camping experience. We camped there on Friday night and their restaurant/bar had extremely loud music playing until 03:00 in the morning. We asked if they could turn it down a bit as it was impossible to sleep, but they didn't seem to care. For the rest, campsite facilities are okay.

Great ambience, you get to connect with the nature. Loads of activities to do for both kids and adults. The views are great. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing experience as a guest in the luxury tent villa which had a breathtaking view of the waterfall from River Sagana. The staff are professional and friendly, the rooms are clean and the food was not only in generous portions but also so tasty. Shout out to Eric, our archery instructor who used games to reinforce lessons and keep archery fun.

I lost items and they just played games woth the matter. This could be a nice place...BUT BUT...they don't care for anything else other than money. New and should be building a reputation but they pay no attention to customer care. After getting all wet from rafting, we hang some clothes to dry. We then forgot them ans called a few hours later ro say we'd pass by to pick them. They promised to call back. They did not, for 2 days. On third day I drove all the way ans what's strange is that someone picked some of the clothes (trousers) and left some (innerwear). I don't need to mention how lousy the breakfast was even if my colleagues may not have voiced it. Was gonna ignore this until the theft happened.

The parking is accessible from the main Muranga-Sagana road and can be accessed by all types of vehicles. There's a restaurant beside the parking. The riverfront is more exciting but you'll have to go down a series of steep stairs. The riverfront view is amazing with a view of a large pool and two waterfalls. There used to be three but one has been converted to a water intake. There's a well stocked bar and an a la carte menu.

First of all.. That's the sunset from the deck.. I think the review should end there.. But..wait There's more.. On the same deck.. You get treated to the view of a meandering river that ends in a waterfall, vast rice field plains and the screams of mortals who thought they are brave, zip lining across the river. Not sold yet? Ask for mbuzi wet fry.. Slaps😋. And quick service too.. And for the campers.. You can do that too.. By the river..you alsobget to pretend you are Rambo for Abit and play with a bow and arrow.. Basically It lives up the the name Jangwani.. Awesome place

Came with my husband for a relaxing weekend getaway in June 2022 and it did not disappoint. We had our own tent and they directed us to where we could set up! I was very impressed by the overall service from lady at the reception ( forgot her name) to Dennis and Brian, the waiters, security. They carry things from the car, help you set up your tent, provide you with tables and chairs. There is electricity Incase you need to charge some devices. It's good to carry an extension cable as it's one socket. There are also hot showers, clean toilets and a well stocked bar. The camping site though small is really beautiful overlooking a mini waterfall. As someone who doesn't camp at all, I really enjoyed it. It is soft camping after all and good for kids. They have tasty and well priced food at the restaurant incase you don't want to cook, i enjoyed the mbuzi dry fry with ugali and spinach. Also did white water rafting and though the river was tame I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back! They also have archery and zip lining but I wasn't interested in trying those. Only downside is the camping site is small so make sure you book to avoid disappointment.

Really enjoyed the boat ride. They don't tell you about being immersed into the waterfall so be careful. The restaurant serves great food but you'll have to be patient....it takes some time. The DJ is amazing with nice old school Rnb

I had a blast here. Enjoyed the sight of River Sagana, did some archery and ate some tasty goat steak. The prices charged are fair and it's worth every penny and more. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

Such a great weekend getaway from the busy Nairobi. Of all the things the fish 😭, is the best I have ever had. Also, there is a cool karaoke night, at least on Friday night. You can camp ⛺, or if you prefer rooms, the option is still there.

Serene Environment next to the river with a small water fall. Clean environment and tents for rent. İf you love sleeping with the sound of rain you will love this place. Warning: there are 150 stair steps between the tent and the main cafe. Not for the faint hearted.

The upper deck restaurant is great but the lower deck restaurant next to the camp site is not that great, not much thought is taken into the deco. The service is great 9/10 but the food could do with some improvement 5/10. The view is amazing though

It is a nice place to be with quit cool environment conducive for meeting, leisure and even out door games. It is accessible from Monday to Friday. Good service and support from staff. There is ziplining and also boat sailing.

Such a great team run this very special camp ground and restaurant. The staffs hospitality really made my experience special. The camp ground is well kept and set within a very scenic environment which overlooks a beautiful waterfall. The sound of waterfall is so relaxing. The restaurant serves great food and a wide variety of drinks. I spent the morning White Water Rafting with the team of guides. They provided a very memorable experience. All safety equipment supplied was of a good standard and condition. I thoroughly recommend this camp ground to families and all outdoor/adventure enthusiasts. Sebastian UK.

Beautiful spot overlooking the river and waterfall. Great food and wonderful staff. I took my kids rafting. Our guides Francis and Julius were wonderful and we experienced lots of fun river activities along the way. For us, rafting was very expensive, but we found it good value and an excellent experience.

It's a great camping site!!! Activities include zip lining, boat riding, nature trails among others. The waterfall gives it a beautiful outfit for relaxation whether you are team building, sleeping, eating or just relaxing. The restaurant at the top of the camp is another spectacular place to be in, especially during the sunset. The waterfall really pop outs well. The food is also well prepared with very friendly attendants. I would however recommend them to have some allowance of people getting near the falls apart from the ones doing the camping.

Zip lining experience was wow, height and water phobia overcome. Good hospitality & sumptuous delicacies.

Every time I'm in Sagana, I go to Jangwani camp for lunch. This place makes really good fish. Make sure to order that with Ugali. You will not be disappointed.

Best place for outdoor activities in Kenya, Must Go!

This is a great place to cool off from the hectic Nairobi life. It's about one and half hours from Nairobi hence ideal for short trips. The staff are very courteous and friendly. It can get a bit cold at night though, due to the rivers water fall. It's also a bit noisy but it's overall it's an experience that you must tick off your bucket list.

I had read the reviews but i decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt and i went there. I cofirm that the service there is really slow....it took like 30 minutes for the staff to notice that we were there...our drinks took another 30 minutes to be brought and to be specific we ordered soda! which genuinely shouldn't take more than 10 minutes keeping in mind that there were very little guests. However, the place is really beautiful..good for photos and maybe camping.I wouldnt go back

Was awesome camp date ... The River falls in the background near the camp site are so calming I wouldn't have it any other way... The staff was amazing, Peter thank you for your prompt service whenever we requested for anything you made us feel at home.. the best part was taking a boat ride down the river.. the guides are so much fun and it's a whole adventure for those like me especially who fear alot of water.. definitely worth a weekend, I'd do it again and again
