Sam fit me in last minute for a basic gel manicure and they were efficient and kind. I was 40 weeks pregnant and they were very thoughtful in the midst of my situation. They did a great job and the quality, especially for the cost, is fantastic. Highly recommend!

I travel for work and I figured I would treat myself to a manicure while I was in the Rockford area. I Googled some nail salons nearby and found Kim Nails - they had favorable reviews and offered Dip Power manicures so I booked a next day appointment with them (always love when that works out!) I arrived and was immediately greeted. They were slow enough at that time (around 1pm) to ask me if I wanted a pedicure as well, but I chose to pass for the time being. My nail tech (I believe his name was Sam) was so friendly and did a wonderful job! I am so happy with my nails and I couldn't have asked for a better place to get them done! Not only that, but I thought the price was very reasonable for the service that was provided. I highly recommend Kim Nails for a dip powder manicure!

We love Kim nails! The whole staff is very detail oriented and professional. Kim gave me a no chip mani-pedi with french tips and it was fabulous! Very relaxing and reasonable prices my son and I are going back again.

Sam is the best nail tech I've ever come across! I love this place. The people are all so kind and work so hard. I've never went back to the same person twice, until I met Sam. He always has my nails looking so good. I will forever go to him. I always get compliments.

My nails turned out good, but my sisters nails are nothing like she asked for and showed a picture of. You can see the nail tip under the french tip, and she was rushed out of her seat for a regular before she could even say she wasn’t satisfied. She wanted a french tip with real nail color underneath but they used pink and they didnt file the underneath of her nail so its super thick.

I come here for all my nail needs, usually acrylic and they come through every time! Very clean and professional. They are genuinely kind and care about how your experience is. Highly recommend. Also - the $40 pedi is my fav!!

Best place in town. It is no frills but clean, pleasant atmosphere and very kind, well trained employees. They do THE BEST pink and whites by a mile and I have tried lots of places in Rockford, including salons voted the best and Kim nails beats them all hands down.

I have been going to Kim’s since they opened and have had wonderful service until the last few months. For the last few months when I have called for a appointment I have spoken to Lily and asked if she had openings. Appointments made, I go in and no Lily wasn’t doing my nails. I suffered the time before but this last time I was cringing so bad and the new young tech was awful. He cut my nails so short and then began cutting them down the sides. I then requested that he just get my old nails off and I would go home and finish them. I was so very upset. I got in my car, called a friend for a suggestion, then called a new salon and she told me to come right there. I was so very thankful she could “squeeze” me in. Two artificial tips later I was on my way home after working for two years of growing my nails and getting them to a good shape and good condition. 😢😢 I’m very sorry to write this but I needed to do so.
