Trying to sell below par animal treatment as conservation, it happens all too often. This park is supposed to be a tourist attraction, where they catch wild lemurs to display in tiny cages and small islands. There's crocodiles that are being poked with sticks to get a response, tortoises up for petting and more beautiful animals that should be living in the wild instead of in pens. And the weird thing, the magnificent Lokobe Reserve is just around the corner. I can slightly understand the purpose of a zoo in countries where there's no lions, elephants, lemurs or crocodiles, but I fail to see the point of captivating animals, whilst they freely roam about on the same island... Please do not support this and make a wiser choice by going to the Lokobe Reserve. That's where the conservation takes place.

A nice park with a lot of amazing animals: lemurs, lizards, crocodile, birds, and even giant turtle. The tour worth the price and it is not very expensive. I also visited the essential oil fabric located inside the park and brought some ylang ylang or vanilla oil back home. I especially enjoyed the time I spent with the local guide which explains in details the history of every places, the specificity of each animals and the details about every plants.

Best attraction in nosy be as there are many animals to see and if you are lucky the lemur will climb on your arm to eat the banana given to you by a guide. My best tip is to go early!! If other tourists go earlier than you do the lemurs won’t be hungry anymore and won’t come and interact with you. Go late and all you will see is lemurs in the trees up high and you won’t even be able to get a good photo.

The guides give a great tour, in English. Definitely worth the 45k ARY admission. Very interesting history of the Ylang-Ylang plant and perfumes. Apparently this is the most reliable place to buy essential oils.

Our guide was fabulous, he gave us much information in English about the species there. Our tour was 1.5 hours and we saw many species of lemurs, tortoises and other reptiles. The tour ended with visiting the ylang ylang plantation and museum.

I flew all the way to Madagascar to save king Julian, when I got to this zoo, I was rudely greeted by staff telling me I can't take home a lemur called king Julian because apparently they do not have a lemur called king Julian. They are lying. We will get justice for king Julian and bring him home. anyway, I am not satisfied.

Nice “zoo”-like park with lemurs, turtles, tortoises, chameleons and crocs. We did see lemurs and lots of them, with ample photo opportunities, so if you are lucky and get a nice guide and count on spending € 10 pp, you should have a good 5 star- experience. Our guide was a bit grumpy and didn’t add much in knowledge, he was an energy-drainer, I rather would have visited without a guide, but that was not in the cards. (Minus 1.5 stars) Tourists pay 10x more than locals, which I understand in a sense, but 10x feels a bit unfair (-0.5 stars)

Essentially a small zoo added to the grounds of a historic and in use ylang ylang factory. Paid 13 euro to have a fantastic women lead our mixed party through the area. A few tortoise species, snakes, and lots of lemurs. The guide fed a couple to allow photo ops. I felt the animals were well cared for. A small but good gift shop. Easy way to spend 1 to 2 hours

It's a tourist trap. It has some interesting panels on Malagasy pirates, but don't come here expecting to get a very good understanding of piracy in the Indian ocean or to see artifacts. You will find neither. But, for 10,000AR (3USD), I guess I can't complain.

Great place where one can at once see distilery of oils, mainly from ylang ylang, and park where many species from Madagaskar live. The inhabitants of the park are lemurs, cameleons, turtles, crocodilles, snakes. Worth to experience.

Very nice and natural concept. You almost don't feel like in a zoo. Different kinds of animals (crocos, chameleons, lemurs, snakes, turtles) mixed with a botanical tour and a tour through the destillery. Some animals are free and some in cages, either dangerous or since they are not yet integrated into a group. You will have a guide for the tour and can pay him as much as the tour was worth to you. After you have time to stroll around yourself and observe your favourite animals as long as you want.

We love this place and always take our guests here. You will learn all about Malagasy flora and fauna. We go several times a year and it is always fun. It's an easy walk and takes about 1-2 hours. Tue guides speak English and you can feed Lemurs. Also the gift shop is reasonably priced. This is a must see on a trip to Nosy Be. It's 45,000mga for non residents and 10,000mga for residents.

I was a bit skeptical first if it's a good idea to go there because I think animals should not be tourist attractions and be caged but this Park is really really nice. Bertin was the best Guide!! :) He walked with me 2 hours trough the whole park and explained everything to me. I was also able to feed some Lemurs and they were climbing on my arms and shoulders to reach the food but the most important thing is that they are free and no pets. You can't pet them and they are still wild Lemurs. The Park is made with so many lovely details and very natural Environment for the animals. I learned a lot and had an awesome time there. The best: there is no mass-tourism. When I was visiting there were only 2 other tourists.

I loved my visit to this place. Very educating history about pirates. I liked the effort to translate the documents to English but there is some inconsistency and wrong captioning in the some of the translated texts. I will give 5 stars if the documents are corrected.

(Translated by Google) In one place you can see all the animals of Madagascar in the wild. Communicate with them and feed them. There is also an oil factory there. If we are going there on our own, apparently we get a guide in the park, we unfortunately were on a trip. Great toilet without a front wall with a view of the open-air plantations. (Original) W jednym miejscu można zobaczyć wszystkie zwierzęta Madagaskaru na wolności. Obcowac z nimi i karmić.

(Translated by Google) It is worth visiting even for lemurs, including the katta or species known from "Madagascar" :) The beasts are trained and put themselves on the shoulder. In addition, an interesting park, a large area, various species of animals except for lemurs ... The park is best visited with a guide who, attention, also speaks Polish - as he explained, he tries to think in perspective, and Poles are apparently a large group of tourists;) (Original) Warto odwiedzić chociażby dla lemurów, w tym katta czyli gatunku znanego z "Madagaskaru" :) Bestie są wyszkolone i same włażą na ramię.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful park, well supplied level animals. Visited the park in low season, visit fast enough by the guide but very correct throughout. Guides are paid to tips. Store well stocked (no credit card). Big downside, the restaurant: no dish of the available card (what we understand as low season). We are offered a choice of 2 daily specials: dishes very good but small portions and surprise when adding 100,000 ariary for 3 with soft drinks (well beyond the price of the same area with drink). I recommend the park but not the restaurant (Original) Beau parc, bien fourni niveau animaux.

(Translated by Google) Several species of turtles, snakes, a few crocodiles, nice lemurs that eat fruit from the hand is practically everything you can see here. Most species of lemurs kept in tight cages. Such a small zoo only in poor performance, but for someone who wants to watch lemurs on Nose Be it may be the only place on the island where you can meet them. A better option is a trip to the national park on Nose Be. Entrance ticket 45 000 Ar also includes a visit to a former rum distillery and essential oils.
