Perfect 3 days, I was here for the international conference at SRM. I saw the reviews and I was a little worried about my stay. But every minute I spent here was worth the money. The restaurant is great, rooms are perfect and staff are reliable and friendly. Mr. Narendra made sure everything was perfect.

Good quality hotel and most convenient for tasks at SRM institute. It is less than 100m from SRM entrance gate. Room charges are moderate and reasonable. Rooms are really spacious and almost double size if compared with large cities like Mumbai. Room had kettle and refrigerator and basic toiletries in bathroom. Tea kit on request. Nice, clean and quite large swimming pool is available. Breakfast was decent with several options of North Indian and south Indian cuisine. Few options for health conscious guests as well. All food had nice flavour.

Had been to this place in 2001 and the a few weeks back, things I had noticed.. 1. The quality of room fittings, water quality etc... all have just sunk below average. 2. Often felt like the staff considered hotel guest to be other staff of the hotel, by the nature of conversation and attention towards them. 3. There is a strong stench of pesticide felt on walking close to the pool area. 4. The color of the pool water, seems to be inviting at the same time makes me worry that if the bathroom fitting have not been changed in last 20 years, how often do the change this water. Overall, there are better places to stay. Explore then before you come here.

This hotel is perfect for visitors to SRMIST. It has a good restaurant too, although their coffee can be improved upon. Haven't stayed here yet, so cannot comment on the rooms. It is located right at the entrance of SRMIST and that makes this an obvious and convenient choice for parents visiting the college/kids.

Very good hotel at the prime location next to SRM University. The rooms are spacious and very well lit. The lighting and decor is exquisite. There is swimming pool too. It is located about 38kms from Chennai Central railway station and about 15km from airport. The connectivity is very good with all modes of transport. The food is excellent. The buffet spread for breakfast and lunch is vast and delicious. The service and behaviour of staff is very good.

This time I found a mountain change. Brand new rooms and lift. Every thing in the room are of good quality and pleasing to the eyes. Very comfortable Bed and pillows. Shower and hot water were exceptionally great. Only thing I found was the room size is a little smaller. There is no space for an additional chair and a tea table. If there are two people, one has to sit on the bed. Food quality is good. A sea change in the quality of food. Tasty food and less oily. Only thing that is still lacking is the service in the restaurant. This time I liked it.

Room 3/5. clean and maintained but Wifi was not working and do not mention the water pressure and temperature of the shower Food 4/5 ok’ish Staff 4/5 very helpful but see e.g. unsolved Wifi problem Facilities 2/5 no gym and pool needs better cleaning (hazy water)

On the Chennai Trichy highway the hotel is located just off the highway. The tarriff is reasonable considering it's facilities in the area. It features swimming pool, laundry service and restro-bar. The hotel staff is co operative, understands Hindi and some can communicate as well. It is at convinient distance, just next to the gate of SRM university, specially to visitors who are to visit students of SRM university. One can take MRTS (EMU local) starting from Chennai beach at Park station opposite Chennai Central and get down at Potheri station which at 800 meters (walkable distance in cool weather) from the hotel. It has hot water facility and breakfast is complimentory depending on package.

It was a pleasant experience to stay here. It's upgraded to latest standards, good food, kind staff, great service, very clean and prompt. Look forward to coming back again. Thank you

I recently visited SRM Hotel and unfortunately, my experience was not great. I ordered the chicken tandoor, but it was not up to the mark. The flavor was lacking, and the meat was not tender enough. Additionally, the restaurant was quite noisy, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. The service was also slow, and my food took a long time to arrive at the table. On the plus side, the prices were reasonable, but overall, I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

Always choose the Option with Breakfast and Dinner. This Hotel has the best options for Dinner ( Full course Meal ofcourse not from Menu). The Staff is courteous indeed. Beyond the restaurant, the room size provided was very small and they did not offer King size Bed for family, despite booking in advance!!! Extra Bedding was provided on request but was without Bed, and there was no quilt provided for the third person (Only Bedsheet was provided). Few other feedback that may be useful for many: 1) There is no ceiling fan if one does not want to use AC. With Small room without AC it is very suffocating. Also the AC ducts were not cleaned and one could see a lot of white dust (EEk!!). This caused me cold and cough too. 2) There are no TV channels available in Hotel except news & free music (Kind of trend in this area in every Hotel). 3) Bathrooms have no exhaust and damp smell in bathroom extends inside whole room 4) The Pool side restaurant is soo small and crowded that one has to wait for seat to be empty

We have reported this a number of times for your humble notice. Upon bringing this matter to the attention of the manager on duty, we were met with utter disregard and a lack of respect. The manager failed to address our concerns and provide a satisfactory resolution. Moreover, when discussing the issue with a staff member responsible for serving the food, it was admitted that the items were indeed prepared in the morning, contrary to the information provided by the manager. Such practices raise serious questions about the hotel's commitment to maintaining food safety standards and serving customers with integrity. Hotel and stay wise ok Only location is remote. Without cab or auto not possible to reach To get basic public transport also you have to travel 2 KMs Food wise just above average. Good varieties. Rooms are good.

It was really a Good and Cozy Inn. Being a North Indian, I have had bad experience innthe last at Chennai bur this time it was flawless. Really appreciate the service Staff who are always there to support.

Since the hotel is within the campus and it is full most of the time, and Uber and Ola are looting, hence please take care. As per my opinion, if the person's budget is low for the hotel and if you try a little away then taxi charges total becomes the same tariff as SRM has. Hence whenever you have work in SRM University then you should book this hotel well in advance.

A luxury hotel right at the arch gate of SRM, University, KTR. Well designed rooms with great service. Sumptuous food at the restaurant adds to the pleasant stay in the hotel. Parking is available as well.

Receptionist is very unprofessional and unfriendly, high time he has to be replaced. This hotel is no where worth its price, stupid facilities, bad policies and worst attitude of staff. Not recommended at all

Decent stay. But poor quality restaurant services. Staff are not clear about the agreement between hotel and corporate bookings. That creates many confusions. Its hotel management fault. Room service is ok. Replenishments are not done properly. In my room, tea & coffee sachets either did not exist (on my first stay) or was not replenished properly (2nd stay). Possibly this will be my last stay.

The main customers to this hotel is parents of SRM students. It is costly for the rooms, one can get better rooms nearby but as this is next to SRM college it is convenient. Rooms are of old style but looks okay you dont feel luxurious.Just because of location it is quite busy, not tasted food as that seems super costly.

Went for buffet lunch , Dishes are ok. But not poorly managed, Need to ask whether it is veg or non veg. Seems the restaurant is in decline stag. The management need to focus more. Money vs food not satisfied. Those who are using kings restroom be carefully water will spray on your dress.

Location 5* because if you are visiting SRM, then it is in the university campus itself. Service is lackluster. Rooms are decent. Food is OK.

I don’t have lesser then this to give the star one of the worst food I had food quality was so bad all the four curry’s I ordered was Tate less I ordered Lachha paratha the made and send in maida I ask the waiter are you sure lachha paratha make in maida he went to kitchen and come back and say lachha paratha make in maida only the I ask him to take back and ask him to make from atta and bring back and no apology for it and no food knowledge for the person who serve and who cook as well wate of time going over there

The location is the best. The hotel has lived it's design life. Badly needs renovation. Has swimming pool, well maintained. Needs to improve upon check-in facilities.

The quality of the hotel has come down really bad, food and stuff is fine . The condition of the bathrooms are pathetic..the shower unit looked as though it was not used for years and fungessed. We had to have bath using water from the washbasin tap. The tiles are damaged and their charges are in par with any other start hotels..the lift was not working.. all in all a tiring stay.

Stayed here for college work. The room and bathroom are neat and cleaned everyday. Location of the hotel is very good for students of SRM. I received ripped towel one day and therefore...4 stars. Also the electric kettle they provided in room had its lid broken.

The location is very much the reason I've booked this property. If you are going because you have work in SRM University, then only book this hotel as it's next to the university campus. Otherwise it's far from the city. However it's an aging property and some stuff members are not efficient as they are expected to be. The cost of food etc. are on the higher side but there is no other option nearby as well. Suitable for someone who has just gone for some work in SRM University. That's all.

It's priced pretty high and is not value for money but not half bad too.

Bar service is bad, says no snacks and provides salad which also takes 30-40 mins to serve. The bearers are not even aware of the available stocks and everytime you ask for a drink he checks with the counter staff and gets back to you which again takes more than 10 mins...
