Lovely ambiance and service. Really enjoyed cocktails - Kir Royale and Upside down pineapple cake. Eggs Royal and Full English were both decent.

Nice atmosphere for a family Sunday roast. Good size portions and caters for everyone from meat eaters to vegetarians. The kids size meals are nearly as big as the adult portions. Reason for 3 stars is because previously we booked a vegetarian afternoon tea in advance and on the day the tea set that was served to us was not vegetarian. When you alerted staff that is wasn’t vegetarian the food was taken away and when returned it was clear that just the meat was removed sandwiches and we were not given a new tea set. The staff wasn’t friendly when we told them about this and we have to write a letter to head office who kindly gave us a voucher to apologise for this experience which we used on a family Sunday roast.

This establishment offers an enchanting atmosphere, perfect for indulging in a delicious afternoon tea set. Surrounded by picturesque scenery, it presents a relaxing escape in the heart of Canary Wharf. While offering this luxurious experience at an affordable price, it has become one of the few places in the area where one can enjoy such a refined tradition. However, it’s worth mentioning that the cutlery did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness. Despite this minor issue, the overall experience was delightful, making it a worthwhile stop for those in the area.

Was craving for some roast on a Sunday. Came here a week before time, arrived at 1:15pm. It was too busy but there were some people. It got really busy by the time we left around 230. I would suggest to book in advance. Around Christmas time, the decoration was very nice and there was a guy playing live piano music, and singing. We knew what we wanted so when we sat down, we just ordered two portions of roast beef straight, and a side of chips and deep fried calamari for appetiser. They also provide kids menu however, I don’t think my kid likes most of the items. The beef was very tasty however, my portion had lots of tendon it got quite chewy. There were two slices of beef, one bake Yorkshire pudding and some grill vegetable. I felt that two pieces wasn’t enough for me as it was so tasty, I was craving for more after the meal. The roast vegetables, really flavorful and soft. I also ordered a cup of mulled wine. It was delicious. Overall, the services were very good and attentive. There is a 10% service charge. We paid £75.74 for a family of three.

Avoid the fish and chips. Fish full of bones. Batter flavorless. Fish tasteless. Add more tartar sauce to get through one of the worst fish and chips in England.

Beautiful afternoon tea at a restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The food itself could be just a bit better.

A great location with large indoor dining room plus a large terrace area outside for when the weather is favourable. The lunch (and early evening) 2 or 3 course fixed price menu is excellent in terms of portioning and price. My steak frites with garlic butter were very good and I would recommend them as great value. The serving staff were a pleasure to deal with.

Browns has always been a location where I enjoyed good food and wine. Sadly at this location the food I ordered was not very nice. It looked great but lacked a lot in taste. Shallots which when cooked properly should be soft and give sweetness to a dish was instead chewy and inedible. The salmon lacked seasoning and required me to add a lot of salt (and I'm not a big salt fan) because it was tasteless. If you go here, do not order the salmon as a main!! Staff were great and super friendly.

We hired the downstairs area of Browns West India Quay for our engagement party and it was absolutely fantastic. The team including, Jacobo, Tabs, Rui and Anna were so helpful and accommodating to our requests. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a fairly large yet still intimate setting for their event. Prices are reasonable too and food tasted really good!

The food was amazing! The service was so delightful. I enjoy coming here because the people who work here are so kind and friendly. It’s a lovely restaurant and I always leave full and happy! They helped me celebrate my sister at short notice! It’s such an awesome place to go🌸

Manager approached 2 different white patrons who were seated after us to ask if they're were ready to order. He then approached the black waiting staff and directed the individual to serve our table, two black ladies and I child. It was very clear the manager knew who he was willing to wait on and it was not us. The food was lovely the portions were adequate, however it was not heated enough. The waiting staff needs to be organised better as they're all over the place but despite that they were very pleasant. Despite our initial experience I would return. They're given a three due to the behaviour of the manager.

The service and staff were super friendly and attentive, the decor is nice, the food is a bit under whelming. The dirty martini was lush though. We had the squid, chicken skewers and chips. We didn't stay for a main and decided to get dinner from somewhere else.

Really good portions, lovely service but the excellent customer service team. They went out of their way to help decorate the table for my friend’s engagement party 🎉. Food was also very delicious 🤤

Browns - West India Quay Great experience and food at Browns Canary Wharf as expected at any Browns brasseries. We ordered a selection of four mains, including the Sunday roast. All mains were cooked to perfection. The sirloin beef was succulent and the roasted vegetables was amazing. The fish and chips were fresh and very tasty. The only issue we did have however, is that we ordered a chicken burger with specific allergy requirements. We requested that the burger did not include tomato as one of our members was allergic to this. When the burger arrived it had tomato inside it. This was however quickly replaced, but by the time it was changed everyone else had finished their food. We did get a sincere apology from the manager and we happily accepted this as mistakes happen, so if you have a food allergy, ensure to check the food before you eat it. The desserts was very nice as usual, the chocolate brownie and apple crumble in particulate was divine. Overall, as a person who eats here regularly, I would highly recommend this branch of Browns

Lovely Sunday roast at Brown's. Cosy warm and welcoming and attentive staff. Had scallops (x4) for starters, they were small but very tasty. I opened for the half roast chicken with all the timings (see menu). Beautifully cooked and delicious, I couldn't finish the plate (I can eat a lot). No room for pudding but polished off a few drinks. Martini glass Cocktails a little on the small size, long island ice tea for the win. Thank you Brown's we will be back

Always my go to place for good bunch. Service was top notch. Coffee was great. The only improvement required is the food. I ordered eggs benedict and the eggs were overcooked. Eggs benedict without running egg yolk just killed the joy.

Came here for brunch and it was just okay. I ordered the Baked Eggs which were fine, but had clearly been sat out for a while as they weren't very hot and the eggs were cooked solid. Prices, although fairly standard for London, felt a bit steep because of this sadly

What it was a very busy Sunday due to the light festival, ended on a very positive note. The host greeted us with a big smile and made us feel very welcome, she did her best to sit a table of 8. Couldn’t catch your name but your customer service is world class. Toni the Spanish waiter was ready with our orders and made sure he could cater to our friend who had a nut allergy. Drinks got served super quick and despite being warned the food order taking longer on the day everything was served right away and delicious. I recommend the schnitzel. Thank you Tony for your recommendations, it’s nice when the staff know the food they serve.

Loved this place. Bern to Brown's before at other places not impressed but this one is atmospheric in this location. Lovely staff attentive but not intrusive and the best Caesar's salad I've tasted in a long time...with anchovies. Would recommend a visit

We have had an amazing experience at Browns tonight, although it was so busy they found us a table without reservation. Special shoutout to Tony, our Spanish waiter. He was super helpful, charming, friendly and went the extra mile. Superb service ! Thanks Tony !

I had my intimate ceremony in browns restaurant with my family and it exceeded ALL and every single one of my expectations. From my very first enquiry Danny was very helpful and informative with that is possible to do. Danny ensured the host (Jade) would create a little table setup and wow did she do an excellent job. I can’t fault a single thing and really are thankful for the amazing service that was given to me and my family. You guys made it a memorable warm occasion. I don’t remember our waitresses name but I just want to also thank her for the hospitality and professionalism she showed from start to finish

Can’t talk enough about how brilliant these guys are. Customer service was excellent and the food was fantastic!! Renata was so good, especially since I had a lot of last minute changes to the booking, but she was so accommodating! Definitely be coming back and recommending to others!

At times a very busy restaurant which is then coupled with a great deal of noise. The fund is varied, across all values, and served very well and still fresh. Welcome waiters. When using the Jubilee line exit, turn right and walk up the steps to the main road. Cross the road and at the next road junction turn right, across the road, a slight turn to the left but quickly right and then straight on to the bridge. Love the bridge, turn right and Browns is the last restaurant. Only aware of dine in.

A late review but went here during Christmas for a Christmas dinner with some friends and would not recommend it. For my starters my bread was stale so had to ask for a new plate, my pig in blanket from the main dish was burnt and turkey was dry, the dessert tasted just like flour. The waitress we had was rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there and when we said we didn’t like the food, she didn’t even care. Would not recommend this place at all especially for how much we paid.

Great place by the river, very accommodating when a group of 9 of us, turned up without reservations and made my sister in law dessert even more special when they heard it was her birthday. I had the roast chicken and it was delicious, my fellow dinner meals were equally lovely.

Food was great chosen from the festive menu. There was a booking issue with other tables so we were seated elsewhere but given a complimentary cocktail. There wasn’t enough staff on & we did have to ask where our ordered bottle of wine was but the food arrived in good time

My chicken dinner was super dry but staff promptly offered an alternative. Sunday roast was definitely a very suitable option. Staff very attentive, really nice decor, love the original ceiling and wall posts, very unique to this area in history.

Great service, but food a bit overpriced. Had to search hard for the asparagus in the curry! The chocolate brownie was really good, although it didn't have the honeycomb ice cream with it.

Excellent bar restaurant. Chilled atmosphere in Canary Wharf on a busy warm London September Saturday evening. Staff coping very well even though needed more of them and place full. Received brilliant service from Ana even though only there for drinks while most were dining. Well done. Recommended.

Lovely restaurant with a maritime feel, set as it is within the docklands heritage area and quayside. The restaurant is very large, easily able to accommodate walk up covers although is suggest booking ahead with covid rules being as they are. Food is excellent as expected for Browns, very good selection of cider and beers complement the wines. Added bonus: very reasonable children's menu with Sunday roasts offered in smaller sizes. Recommended.

Very welcoming and a great atmosphere outside. Food was lovely and good value for money with great vegetarian options. Our waiter Gabski was very welcoming and provided great service. Brilliant sense of humour too and was still smiling at the end of the night. Definitely go there again..

This is a very lovely and calm place to visit and dine. Friendly staff but when you want your meat well done make sure you explain that its only the meat and not the whole food well done.Ordered roast and everything on our plate was well done including the carrots. Hence will give them 4 stars.

If you have dietary requirements don't go here. Despite a gluten free menu supplied we were advised there may be cross contamination due to flour and little was available!!!! Only choice was expensive steak and chips....the waiter was very apologetic....probably due to the London Marathon making it busier than usual?

Genuinely one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Just hearty, comforting, delicious food with great service. The decor is so relaxing and the staff really made an effort even though I'm sure there were no doubt plenty of other places they'd rather be on Christmas Eve! The starters were just okay (calamari was soggy) but the portions right the way through were huge, just how I like! And the mains were cracking. The lamb and the pork belly dishes were divine, as were the desserts, and the wine menu was fab. The mulled wine tasted almost medicinal, in the best way possible. I will surely be back when I'm next in London. 5 stars!!

Always an extremely warm welcome. I've noticed Browns has got busier recently and this has added to the lovely atmosphere. At our most recent visit I really enjoyed the pianist! The food was exemplary - really delicious and a good price for London. Best of all it was piping hot which is an endless issue for me at other restaurants! I came with a fussy crowd and everyone was delighted at the quality of the food. The service was (as always) absolutely spot-on - warm, professional, always there when we needed help but never intrusive. Fast becoming one of my favourite London restaurants.

Today I spent the afternoon here with my colleagues. It was a lovely sunny day which is why it was very busy. I had a mocktail. Nice and sweet. Overall it was a nice place to hang around in the outdoors.

On 16th March we had our wedding celebration in this cosy and beautiful downstairs bar. From the very beginning of planing this day, people working there were supper helpful, polite and willing to go extra mile to make sure every detail was up to our requirements. Food looked amasing and tasted supper good. Service was outstanding. We even got a surprise performance from one of the bar members. Thank you to all for making our big day so special. With love Sigita and Ricardo

I always loved the building. Easy to get to. Either by DLR and get off at canary wharf or west India Quay. Food is nice and taste yum. Nicely presented. Price I'd moderate. Service has room for improvement. The restaurant is not full but yet we need to wait quite long to be served or settling our own bills.
