Green green green.. everything in temple is adorned in green. A Pooja is performed for rupees 100 for which you will get a photo, 5rs coin, green kumkum and a key chain.. apparently sacred to be kept along in wealth box. Temple closes by 1pm. Located in a very remote residential area, no descent restuarants around, plan your food accordingly. There is annadanm in 108 Lakshmi temple if one prefers.

This temple is maintained well. Only thing is too far away from the city. Located near Vandalur. I went on weekdays so no rush. If you went on weekends rush will be there so plan accordingly. If you pay 100rs they will take you near the idol and given a photo and small amount silver.

This temple is a different one from other temples. As we went on a special day(Akshaya Thiruthiyai) there was a lot of crowd but rest of the days it will be most probably empty. In a small place, they have managed for many Gods and Goddesses. Different and good place to visit.

Don't miss to visit this temple while in chennai. Close to vandaloor zoo -Tagore college (from zoo by bus) & every half hour there's train from park station. 100 rs pooja will be done , we will get 5 rs coin to be kept in purse or locker.

Green Place with Green Devotees and Green Prasad - everything in temple is adorned in green. Pooja here is performed for rupees 100 for which you will get a photo, 5rs coin, green kumkum and a key chain.. apparently sacred to be kept along in wealth box. Belief that lord kubera stays with you and blesses in your wealth creation. Temple closes by 1pm. Located in a very remote residential area, no descent restuarants around, still small tiffen centres around for quick grabs, plan your food accordingly. There is annadanm in 108 Lakshmi temple if one prefers. Location is near vandaloor road between Mappedu junction to vandaloor road. And flowers and cocount and lamp not allowed inside. Need not buy for aarthi. Can also visit gowshala near by. There is a big fish tank around laughing Buddha statue with many live fishes.people throw coins there.

This is an ancient temple of Lord Kuberar seen along with his consort Chitrakala and goddess Lakshmi. Special puja is done for Rs.100 per person for which Kubera mantra will be recited making the devotees to sit in front of the threshold with a given bag which contains a 5 rupee coin, Kubera key chain & a Kuberar photo which is really worthy for what we pay. We were very fortunate to visit temple recently.

Temple was good, Iyer done the Pooja very well(1000/- ticket), But the people there was doing marketing on God, They didn't even respect devotees, After taking ticket for Puja, the green thread was tied by the normal woman(not blaming anything about women here) who is working there, not even Iyer(pujari) was doing that when I visited, before my friends visit Iyer done the same, What for this change, without even 10 devotees in the same time at temple. I think management (committee) orders like this, This is ridiculous, fully commercial motive.

I prefer to visit on Non public holiday (Weekday) which gives you mental peace, Because the crowd will be in less number. But there is no perfect parking space for 4 wheelers.

Parking is some what away. Temple ambience is good but the pusari will ask for 100 rs for entry near to the deity but I think it's not required. Nearby this temple there is Sai baba and 108 Amman statue temple must recommended place to visit.

I visited this place for the first time. Had a great time here. Lakshmi Guberar is awesome. They have a block for Lord Bramma too. Also they have tortoise 🐢 and fish 🐟 under green light with Guberar. Don't miss them to watch. The Peacemakers. Not so big temple but small & nice. The last part like every temple have these days, the selling area. Go have a look at it. As usual, regular products, high price. Also there is no parking for vehicles there, have to park on the roadside. Easy access for elderly people.

It is a very good temple. It is a temple of Lakshmi and Kubera. We can get token to do pooja which is 100 rupees per person and we can get prasada which includes a Kubera key chain and a photo. Temple is located in a remote place and we can reach there by bus or own vehicles. A must visit temple.

Nice kuberar temple to visit in Chennai. You get the kuberar miniature with the puja. The temple is quite crowded on sundays. Ambience is good.

Very worst management by the temple people. They are very money minded and they made everything will happen only by money even for single Pooja also. Now a days the temple is turned into money collecting agency. Not interested to there for worshipping the god. They earning lot of money in the name of god

Must to visit kubera temple in Chennai. Near this temple you can visit by washing distance only chakra kaali, sai baba and 108 amman temple also. During rainy season recommended to go by auto from rathinamangalam bus stop because water flows in road and near temple also. They provide green rope, green kumkum, dollar, pooja kaasu for 100rs archana.

This temple is one of the famous temples in Chennai. Kumberar Temple is definitely a rare temple to find. It is only located in very few places. Kuberar coins are given if you get token for 100. And you can get the green rope to tie on hands for 5 rupees inside the temple itself. Well maintained, social distancing followed. A must visit temple.

After long time, we visited here. U should reach before 1pm. Please dont buy flowers . You will put those stuffs in the entrance of the temple. People might influence you to give garlands. So beware :) Those who are interested can involve in Lakshmi pooja where you will be allowed to sit near Kuberar with coins and stuffs. I guess they will charge around Rs500.

Situated in Rathnamangalam Vandalur beside Tagore college... Thursday is auspicious day and green is colour of temple... Visit during Diwali or Dhanteras also very auspicious and also there is 100 rupees pooja conducted my advice per family one puja is enough so do not get puja token for every family member you will be provided with one Kubera dollar and string also a 5 rupee coin with little lotus to keep in purse or wallet if you opt for pooja..

It's a Hindu God of Wealth, with Rupee--draped statuary inside the Green-Painted Temple. This place is located in a little interior residential area surrounded few other temples like Sai Baba & Sri Chakra Kali Temple. Temple timing is like 8 am to 12 Noon and 4 pm to 8 pm. They offer a special paid pooja which allows you to sit in front of the god and performance pooja as instructed. Most of the items look GREEN there, that's why it's named as Green-Painted Temple. People visit the temple with the belief that God help them to improvise their Financial situation. As of now, there's not enough space for Bike/Car parking so NO CHARGE. Management should look into this to expand the space to Bike/Car Parking. And they ask us to drop the Flowers in Sliver vessels kept at the entrance of the temple and they are not allowing us to carry those near to God and it's not even taken to that level. So think before buying those kinds of stuff. The inside road is quite narrow and bigger vehicles will have difficulties on the corners and even in the parking. But must visit the place to get Lakshmi Kuberar's blessings.

You will feel the vibe as you enter the temple , well maintained and people and priests are very polite. They guide you in every step. Kuberar temple is all painted in green and well organized. Amman Kovil has 108 Amman including main moorthy, a place where power is channelised and situated. Nice place and experience

Old Kuberan temple. I think only one in the South Chennai and around. Famous worship place for Kuber and Ma Lakshmi devotees. In addition, maa kaali temple and Sai baba temples are in the vicinity. Lots of eateries and souvenir shops are surrounded. Recently parking problems are addressed to ease congestion. Must visit.

Good to see temple of kuberar..The only thing is I took 100rs ticket for பூஜை.And I was given few things including kuberar keychain..etc..I felt instead of giving kuberar key chain they can give kuberar photo to worship..And secod thing ,the time they took to complete 100rs ticket பூஜை is too quick..it has even ended before realising what mantram has said..

Temple atmosphere is good, however they keep 2 tables in the entrance way those people were frequently talking about money about Pooja and donations, that really makes us some kind of discomfort, slightly you see like commercial instead of devotional. Kubeerar idol is recreated and kept in water and they keep some fish that is different. If you really going to see god and for prayers that is fine. Place will sure mesmerize people. Near by you will fine arakasu Amman 108 sakthi Pidam. Various Amman goddess idols from india and away from India, this Amman temple is good apart from this kuberan temple. I just shared my opinion about the temple. Nothing intentional, my experience is like that. As far I absorbed.
