This lake is probably least known for people, One of the most peaceful and calm places in chennai.You can get a great view of Vandalur Mountain and this massive lake ahead of it! Its located beside the Exit Lane on the way towards vandaloor via Outer Ring Road. Many people stop here for some rest and photography. Even this place can be improved and renovated for visitors and public. It's a great pleasure to be here at Mornings and Evenings! Nice and calm ambience with fresh and chill breeze! No parking available, so you have to park your vehicle by the road side with parking lights ON that's it.

This is a good place for bird photography. Located along the Outer Ring Road nearing Vandalur. Although it is risky to park vehicles along the road, it is worth to come at early morning to capture birds which migrate here. Can also use the lake for angling small size fishes.

Nice place and its pleasant to enjoy the nature and sunset. Lake is so clean and very interesting to watch the lake water in the busiest outer ring road along with birds and other sounds. Located well in the outer ring road(ORR) near to Mudichur service road. Lake is pretty big and not covered with compound or safety wall. It would be good if government take necessary steps to preserve this lake and not making people to dump the garbage near to this lake. It's good for quick evening walk, you can notice lot of family coming with kids during evening time. Be safe, don't go near to the lake or get into the water
