Golden temple is a Buddhist tibetan monastery located near kushalnagar. Beautiful temple and a quite nice atmosphere. If you really need a peacefull an quality time don’t visit on weekend. It’s too crowded on weekends. You won’t be getting much restaurants nearby.

a week ago I had a family tour to this place South India. We went on a Saturday. The place was not crowded but there were many Gujarat tourists is there. The place was maintained neat and clean, even the public toilets. There was prayer going on that time. There was no photo restrictions there. The place was very calm and quiet and peaceful environment. We could see different beautiful art and paintings inside the temple. Also there are some crafts and souvenirs shops in the compound, but it was costly. Many saints are praying and bhajans on temples. We meet students also they all are very happy on this place. Overall there is nothing much to see other than the temple and can spend 1-2 hrs on peaceful environment.

This Tibetan Monastery is the last but one of the best places we visited. The statue and the temple is huge and visiting this place in the evening made our fast paced day end in a calm peaceful mood. We could not help sitting there for some time and get overwhelmed by the aura of the place. The sound of prayers and drums playing in the background helped create the perfect atmosphere. Loved this place .. Read some history of this place and be sure visit it. This experience will bring a deep sense of respect for the Tibetan culture and heritage. Inside there is a cafe run by monks and they serve different types of coffee like Expresso Irish Coffee etc Take a break here and end your day here.

Must visit place, if possible should attend their prayer. It will give very Peace atmosphere and able to relax if u sit and listen by closing eyes. Big parking available. Foot wear not allowed inside temple, need to keep by paying small fee. Good photographic location.

Beautiful Temple to visit. This is the 4th time I'm visiting this and this time the crowd was too much and very noisy. Still quite serene atmosphere and one could gaze at the painting and the idol in wonder. There are lots of shops and small restaurants nearby one spend some time here to pick up souvenirs. Well kept and maintained clean . This is my favorite temple.
