While this place might look quite nice when the well/catchment area is full, during other times it's like a big pond with a narrow road that has a fairly steep fall on one side a deep water body on the other. The waterfall is not a continuous feature and visible only when there's excess water which then overflows, creating the waterfall. You have to be super careful with kids since the path leading to the water is elevated and there are people coming and going from both sides and the path itself is not smooth and is quite bumpy. The increase in footfalls there has led to garbage building up everywhere and frankly while I could click a few photos that I thought were ok, the place itself is disappointing. The ride to the area is quite nice and you have to go through roads with lovely green paddy fields on either side.

It’s a back water fall but worth visiting. Try to go in group to have more fun as this is inside small village and hence free to all visitors.

Those looking for a quick weekend getaway to the outskirts of Hyderabad, Nanajipur Waterfalls is one among the choices. The place is less than half an hour drive from Shamshabad. The visitors can also stop at the famous Ammapalli Sita Ramachandraswamy Devasthanam on the way. The visitors to the waterfalls are greeted by serene lush green surroundings. The road leading to the falls from the main road after the Vardhaman College of Engineering is narrow and the final untarred 2-3 kms are bit tough to negotiate. Weekends saw heavy rush and there is ample parking space for two and three wheelers near the falls. The falls will be in full spate only during monsoon and visitors only have the option to take a dip in the stagnant waters. No safety measures are in place and those stepping into the water has to exercise extreme caution as the water level is nearly 10ft after two steps. There are no shops near the spot; hence, for food, drinking water, towel, etc., one has to go to the main road. Else, plan your lunch at any resturant in Shamshabad.

This isn't a waterfall! Just after a rainy day may be there would be a flow of water since there are changing altitudes in that place. But water isn't clean, almost green. So not a good idea for swing or playing in water. Just for weather and open place, yeah a good place.

After completing our visit to the Statue of Equality and with a suggestion from an online source about nearby places to explore, we came across the idea of visiting Nanajipura Waterfalls. It was located approximately 7 to 8.5 kilometers away from the Statue of Equality. At first, I thought it might be worth a visit, but I soon realized that getting there required navigating some off-road terrain. The journey was a bit bumpy, but we managed to reach the place. I wouldn't describe it as a spectacular destination, but it had its charm and proved to be a good spot for photography, allowing us to capture some nice shots. The location is somewhat hidden and not well-marked, so it's the kind of place where you might stumble upon it rather than intentionally seek it out. It's a casual spot, suitable for occasional visits depending on the preferences of the people visiting. There is a small parking area available, and the scene resembles a stream overflowing into a river, creating a small lake-like area. It's nestled amidst a slightly hilly landscape, offering the opportunity to explore both the upper and lower areas.

This can be your next getaway or picnic spot but you will be able to appreciate the place only if the waterfall is at its peak. Else it is more like a pond. When we went, we weren't fortunate and all we saw was still water. Great place to hangout and spend time with friends. On weekends, it has good number of people to be called crowded. Certainly a place that one can visit once (takes an hour one way from Gachibowli, Hyderabad).

As mentioned by other visitors this is just an over flow from the water body when it rains and the water body is full! We visited the place on Saturday and the maps location is correct so you can depend on it. Also pls carry your own food and water as you will not find shops around the water body . We enjoyed the breeze and the view there were local kids swimming in the water but it sure looks really deep so don’t attempt to get in unless you are a real good swimmer !

Such an wonderful time there a wide landscape. Peaceful moment of waterflow the gentle sounds of cascading water. Convenient parking facilities make it easily accessible for visitors to experience it. However, exercise caution while crossing the edges, as the falling water demands respect. Admire the breathtaking views, and let the natural beauty renew your soul. This hidden gem promises an unforgettable escape, an lovable destination for those seeking flows and a connection with nature's splendor. A must-visit for nature enthusiasts.

The place is absolutely beautiful and has a very lovely atmosphere. However, the way tot waterfall is not very conventional as the road ends at a certain limit and we had to walk though the bushes to reach the place. The view is absolutely lovely however its not recommended to take a dip near the water as flow is quiet strong and thing could go side ways at any time. So Be careful and enjoy your time.

The main entry to this place is blocked with thorn plants not sure why. We have to jump and go to reach the place. Many people are visiting the place. Also there is a parking facility. Not many eateries around the place . Just one old woman is doing bajjis . Good place to spend a weekend

Good place for trekking..not a big but an interesting place to visit with family and friends..take care at the time of heavy floods and rains. Close to Nature.. don't pollute that ambience, make sure about kids' safety when you take them with you. Also try to procure local vegetables from that village people. Visit Hanuman temple near to the place and take his blessings too...πŸ‘πŸ˜‡

Reaching out the place - straightforward on google maps. I visited on 18Dec2022 and a patch of road was really shaken up. Parking at Spot: None, this water fall is situated in a village. So do park before 200m as many fellow enthusiasts are getting aware of this place and flocking down. Narrow space in village Experience: to be frank nothing much to explore around. Water is falling like back waters setup. Might be a good site in rainy season. There is a hanuman ji temple around. Lots of dogs. Locals were trying to fish. Place was all piled with algae, fungi. Water bottles and wrappers. After reaching the spot u can finish watching this in 5 mins.

Good in the rainy season. Way towards it is also very scenic. Very close to Hyderabad to relax and refresh. It is dangerous to walk over the reservoir as it is very slippery.

Visiting this place is fruitful only if it has rained a day back and the water level has risen which creates the water to fall. This is not the actual water fall and cannot be seen all the times. Just a small lake like waterbody which overflows and creates the waterfall

It's a good experience but risky... Water is lil bit unclear... Recommended After heavy rains at the place or Telangana. You have to be careful as it is not an official tourism spot...

It's a pond with extension for water to overflow (waterfall). Water is not so clean. As a weekend short trip around hyderabad, its fine. No shops or hotels.

Water isn't flowing, only stable water. This might be beautiful only when there are rains... please check before you visit. Good place for pre or posr wedding shoots, reels and dance videos. The local people are friendly. There is local farming option available near by.

A great place to go to in the monsoon. Follow the gps and park near the temple. The way to the top is closed and you need to jump across the stream. Or else, take the way behind the temple and reach the bottom of the falls. There is a nice rock to sit on and you can also take a shower under the stream. You need to go through the water, so wear shoes accordingly. There is another way on the other side, but gos doesn't show that route.

Normally in the rainy season we have to visit this place because if there is no rainfall so there will be no waterfalls at that point so it's better to visit at the time of rainy season
