Post a critical meeting we wanted to relax and one of our friends suggested this place! We were not sure what to expect and just walked into this place. We were not just surprised but take. By surprise at this place. There were multiple beers on tap - very rare in this part of the world. Went for British Empire and was not disappointed! The music levels were just right and allowed us to speak and take few calls as well. Staff members were courteous and we were topped up all the time 🍻

The food is served very slow. I really mean it. One hour for a starter? Seriously? The taste isn’t that great too. Not a happening place too. If you are someone who has so much to spend and want a place where it feels like home, this is it. Not for me though.

The standout feature of this particular restobar was undeniably its ambiance. When my small group and I arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find that there was no difficulty in securing seating, despite not having made a reservation in advance. This was likely due to the fact that the restobar was relatively uncrowded during the Sunday evening when we chose to visit. In terms of the food we ordered, it proved to be ample to satisfy all of us. Among the dishes we tried, the Penne Veg Pasta with Arabiata sauce emerged as the unanimous favorite. On the other hand, the Mixed Vegetable Pizza didn't quite meet our expectations, making it the least favored option from our selections. Overall, our experience at this restobar was made memorable primarily by its inviting atmosphere, hassle-free seating, and the delightful Penne pasta, even though the mixed vegetable pizza fell short of our taste preferences.

Top marks for the service and atmosphere. The staff worked late night and was still friendly and cheerful. But the food is a big miss. We tried the chicken wings, soup and pizza and all of them were below average.

Good ambience but was empty on a Saturday night. Food options are really limited but beer was reasonable. This is more suitable for a bunch of guys, pretty boring for couples.

On a rainy day at chennai we tried this pub, due to the bad weather no crowd it was like whole pub was for us... The ambience was great, the choice of music made more special we enjoyed the evening. The best part is they have snooker board we tried our luck and finally we learn how to play. Nice place to hangout with friends.

Went for new year eve. The ambience is fine, not much to talk about. Service is very slow. Looks like there are just couple of guys to serve the entire bar. If you are in a hurry, better sit at the bar counter. Service seems to be fast there. Snacks and starters provided were of average taste and quality.

I thought it would be nice to try new restaurant on the valentine's day. That decision was so wrong. One of the worst service I have seen ever. Never going back ever..

Apart from high pricing, worst 2 complimentary dishes were given. Pay thrice the amount for Beer and foods but compliment dishes would be some cheap peanut and irrelevant tiny biscuits. Wasted Huge money for the atmosphere.

Been here years ago and it was really good. Now the food is really bad and they take eons to deliver your orders. To top it up, they take equal time in getting your vehicle off the valet parking lot.

Went there on a Wednesday night, was quiet ( relatively) which is exactly what we wanted. To just chill and talk with friends. Hope it's like this on the weekends too! Food was pretty good too ( from the small amount of dishes we tried). Tiny bit on the expensive side ? Good overall!

Im not sure whether this place is categorized as resto bar or pub as it fits neither. Been here to meet my friends. Not crowded on Friday night. I dont drink so not sure about the drinks availability or brands. Food menu was very limited and taste was average. Service was average too given they forgotten our order for Chilli Chicken twice and served it to a different table as they explained. Pizza was large and tasted good. Music was on with usual speaker system. Pool table is available. Parking is good considering its inside Hablis hotel. Good for guys to hangout with drinks

Worst behaviour of staff. I ordered one but they brought some other thing and forced me to have that as it is prepared. No humanity, they follow Humoneyty. We wasted Rs. 4500. Completely disappointed. Scared to sit there for sometime. This place is only for rich people's children who don't know the value of money.

Absolutely worst service ever! It was Valentine's day for hell's sake and we had to wait for 30 minutes to get the get the menu and another 30 minutes ro get the food delivered. The service people were simply running about the place and we had no idea what they were doing. There was supposedly an event happening in the lounge and those people were attending to them first! Why not hire more people if you cannot manage a day. Overrated place and extremely over priced liquor.

One of the best pubs in Chennai. Has a wide variety of options on the alcohol menu, including a good selection of single malts. The food is really good as well. Especially the stuffed mushroom jalapeno poppers. The lounge area is perfect for a nice conversation with mellow music while the main room provides the typical pub experience.

This is a elegant pub at Habalis hotel. An Irish pub. The food choice is pretty good, Arabic, Med, Indian amongst others. The platters are quite well done. There were no happy hours and that was a drawback. The beers and drink are priced a bit high I felt otherwise ambience is great, service could be better.

I liked the ambience with the Irish theme. They had a good playlist. But there were limitations on the choice of food. The price of food and drinks were on the higher end as well.

Went there on Valentine's Day for dinner with my husband. Food was just about ok, not great but what we disliked the most was their service. It was very very poor. We were served soup before drinks and main course before starters because the latter wasn't ready yet. The person serving us didn't know what he was serving. We were served the wrong main course once and we were served a starter instead of the main course. We received a mushroom starter with potato mash instead of mushroom pasta and the person said that was pasta! All this when the place was not crowded at all. Later the manager did come and apologize and tried making up for his staff's mistakes but I still think there's a lot that needs to improve here.

The staff were very hospitable, the Ambience was one of the best. The liquor menu had a lot of variety to choose from. A good place to have a casual and fine get together. Make sure you cover yourself well when you go there as the Air condition there will shiver you out.

A very nice Irish style bar in town. Price is on the higher side, but you get to enjoy lot of options. They have a range of Belgian, German, Australian beers. They also have couple of IPA's. They have a pool table, high stools. Smoking room, bar side, jazz music, in the weekends they play live music as well. They have a good range of cocktails with beer and they are nice. You are expected to have a proper attire and outfit. Please call up if you have questions. We go here once in a while and it's quite a good place to hangout in the midst of the city. Overall nice ambience, bit expensive , good for occasional drinkers, in mid age or old age not hesitating to spend 1000 bucks for a hour of hangout. The flip side is that they don't have much offer or big mug discount s. They don't have happy hours or similar. I have enjoyed the similar things in more expensive hotels. I wish they come up with cool offers.

Great ambiance and nice looking bar, with a old school feel to it. Option of beers were very less. They should be thinking on the lines of bringing in a micro brewery. When we visited (on a Sunday afternoon), the place was not open till 3 pm. So a big let down for afternoon crowd who wish to have a pleasant Sunday drinks.

Chanced upon this pub during a meeting at Hablis. Liked the ambiance and the decor. Seating is great for a conversation or for a lively meeting with friends. There is a pool table which I found quite good. I did not like the selection of beers and other beverages there - But, its still better than what you would find elsewhere. Snacks are decent and can be much better. Overall its a pretty good pub for an evening out. Definitely recommended.
