It's quite rare to give 5 stars but OFF the record doesn't disappoint us. The place was filled with a vibe and you immediately get on with it. That's the atmosphere restobar should give and it did. The place is located on the 1st and rooftop with a pretty good view on the roof and a vibing place in the 1st floor. The DJ really did a great job with his music and the dark shades with vibrant lights near the bar was the stealer. Coming to the food, the taste was amazing and the quantity was decent but was on the pricier end compared to other places. The cocktails were good and as said earlier a bit on the costlier end. The place is a must visit for groups as you could have a wonderful time here having all the time to have fun. The place is a must visit and the service from Ayush was amazing as he didn't miss a thing that we ordered and was really there whenever required. Do check them out.

Loved their take on whiskey sour which is my usual go to :) The food was good and we faced no issue with service! The cheesecake was something I was really looking forward to but didn't hit the spot for me. We wanted to go for Tamil night but the drama these staff do to let us in is just ridiculous! Saying they are completely booked and are expecting way more they can accomodate 😑 I hate when places do this! We managed to get in after trying for long

We booked the place for a group lunch with colleagues. Only after going to the place they informed us that a movie shoot is going on and we won't be able to dine inside. Only the rooftop was available and that was not suitable for midday. Later the staff gave us a private room considering the situation which was commendable. The room was nice and good for a small gathering. They had a variety of drinks, but we didn't try any though. We tried both veg and non veg options. The starters were nice except the sushi and main course was average for the veg ones and okayish for the non veg. I am not sure about the how the evening and night time is. But lunch is not recommended at this place if you are solely looking for food.

We went there for an office get together which was completely ruined by the pathetic service and poor quality food. First the guys there themselves suggested us to go for non veg platter and it took more than an hour for them to serve it. (Photo of platter what took more than an hour) Meanwhile we ordered other things and half of it came half cooked. Fish and prawn were not fully cooked and chicken was all color coated. One of the worst food and service.

Truly off the record restro bar. The ambience was exceptional. The portraits on the walls were unique. Best seating, innovative washrooms, a private place for smoking also available. I didn't try any liquor but went with a mocktail 😝. The liquor menu was so innovative that they named it after the underworld dons like Pablo Escobar and Dawood. Coming to the taste of the food it was good, we ordered a cheese mushroom bao and chicken kebab and a Korean J-hope. Much recommended restaurant for alcoholics. I would definitely say this is one of the most happening places on the weekends. The restaurant has a small music venue with a mic, I hope they allow you to sing😅 and dance!

The taste is average and the service is very bad. We six people had most of the foods in the menu. The tastes of food is average, there is no uniqueness in the food worth mentioning. The ambience is good especially the rooftop. I had to remaind them twice in order to receive the food we ordered. The mocktail are waste don't even think of trying. The cost is comparable ok. It's cost around Rs.14000 for six people.Overall good ambience, average food and service needs to be improved.

The food was decent and the cocktails were well made. Service was a little slow, but waiters were polite and prompt when called. I liked the view of the sky when i was sitting down but the couches in the seating area tend to get very hot. Sit on the side of the table nearer to the statue for a nice breeze.

The service is good. Good vibes. Food is just ok. It's part of The Thief which is also nearby. Sat at the rooftop. They have made good arrangement for air blowing through vents at each and every table.

One of the comfortable and super cool chill place. Pros: 1. The LIITs are just top notch gives you the buzz. 2. The Nachos is very tasty must try dish kothu chicken it’s so delicious. 3. Maintains high cleanliness is big plus. 4. Bollywood nights DJ is one of the best in Chennai. 5. Also there is a waiter named Saket he really did fabulous service. 6. Well maintained & spacious smoking room. Cons 1. Over the weekends it’s difficult to get a table. 2. Sometimes the service is little slow.

Amazing atmosphere. Great set up on both floors. Food was good. Sad to say the worst DJ you can ever find. If you wanna just go for food and not have fun good place. They have everything need for a great night out including a floor to dance sadly the worst DJ will make you fall asleep. Hope they get some some good soon.

Only in Chennai for 2 days and we were struggling to find a good place on a Tuesday night. EVEN on a weekday there was a decent crowd and a great atmosphere. All of the staff were wonderful people and really friendly. Balaram, the manager, was extremely accommodating and just an all around cool dude. It’s refreshing to be able to visit a place that’s new to us and have such an awesome time! Nothing but compliments for this place - highly recommend for anyone who’s new to Chennai or even if you’re a local.

The place is really good as well the food.. no doubt with the atmosphere too . It's superb. But I was not happy with the DJ who played on 24/2/24. He was playing all dull songs in which PPL couldnt dance. I find out so many of them was waiting n waiting for the better track but he was not ready to listen any .. this is second time u felt like no value for money .. both the times it was he who was playing and in both the case he played boring songs ... I request the management not to book this dj. Else I think public will stop visiting the property slowly ...

It's an okayish place to head to on a Tuesday afternoon. It is a little dead but that's how things are on a weekday apparently across the bars here. The food was alright and the drinks were actually quite nice. They allowed us to mix and match the happy hours offer so we got to try a few different cocktails and they were decent.

Had the best time with my friends. Nice music and a different experience altogether. Food was average but not worst.

We loved our time here. We had been on a monday afternoon so it was quiet. The choice of drinks is good, though we would have loved more vodka based cocktails. The food was good. Much better than various other places. Friendly staff, good food, good drinks = happy time.

A good place to hang out with friends. They have multiple seating options. Both at the bar counter and otherwise. Always reserve a table. Friday nights and weekends can be crazy. Not too kicked about the food though. I like the space for how they hold musical sessions with upcoming and established artists. Not many pubs in Chennai offer that experience and live music. Can be tad expensive on your pockets.

The place has a really good ambiance. The food was amazing. The pan fried chicken and the Thai roasted chill beef was one of my favourites. Kareem gave us great service. He carries a good vibe and was kind enough to make us a crispy buttery garlic bread, which is off menu. Overall had a great time. Would definitely visit again.

Great ambience and food/drink selection. However, extremely slow and inefficient service. Made a reservation and when my group turned up they didn't have it noted down. Thereafter, they forgot a part of my order and took ages to get it.

Apart from the costly alcohol, which is normal when it comes to these places, but I would say, somewhat worth it. The ambience is good..Wanted to try Korean fest food n got one dish Jimin's... yummy n sooo spicy with kimchi ...ordered hakka noodles with prawns curry and in that prawns curry hardly 4 or 5 prawns...the noodles was soooo less.,.the peri peri popcorn paneer was soo gud.cocotails not that grt....shld visit their restroom for sure 😂

Prime location is attractive.. At present taken over by the Thief management.. Renovation work is going on.. So expected to open again from this New year.. So fingers crossed :-)
