To one of the best bar's I've been @alchemybarchennai It's definitely worth not just for it's cocktails but also for the food,the service,the ambience and what not. They served the best paneer starters and I should say that I've had the best lotus stem starter. The cheese sticks were very cheesy and crispy. The cocktails were just amaze max and mind blowing. The Lychee margarita was a strong yet delightful combination of tequila, triple sec, lychee, orange and lemon juice. This drink will for sure leave a lasting memory on both your tongues and minds.The presentation, along with the ambience, was true bliss. Alexander drink was pure surprise as it was a combination of Brandy, along with milk and fresh cream. The ingredients sure are different and may sound weird but a mere sip of this amazing medley can change your mind. The milk and fresh cream cool down the esophagus, making it an interesting way to sip down a hard drink such as Brandy.

Pretty decent place and one of the very few places in Chennai that serves Draught Beer. The peri epri fries were amazing and tasted heavenly. The quantity given for the price was way more than what I expected. The leather seats gave out a peculiar smell that needs to be sorted. The lady DJ played good Tamil cover songs from Vidya Vox etc. But it'd have been better if she had sat at the console mixing her own songs. 7/10 for music, 5/10 for the price of alcohol, 8/10 for ambience and 7/10 for service.

Typical Chennai bar - dark, claustrophobic and dimly lit even in bright daylight. The customers are all middle aged men. There were no women. The beer served was 'super strong'. It tasted like methyl alcohol.

This lounge is located in raj Park Hotel in TTK Road, alwarpet. We went there as four friends as we wanted to try their food menu mostly. The ambience and service is top notch. You can visit them again and again just for their wonderful ambience. And service was quick and good. We tried their mocktails - ice bite, golden foam and choco myst. Among these ice bite was less sweeter with cranberry flavour. And choco myst was a chocolate milk shake with a coconut touch . Golden foam was the best among mocktails - a blend of banana, carrot and pineapple juice. Coming to food items here, they taste better than many other food only restaurants. The chilly tandoori chicken was so soft and perfectly spicy. Jamaican jerk chicken and piri piri chicken was normal. Among veg items we tried bbq panneer sticks, Wok tossed chili baby corn and mushroom in spicy black beans. Every item was crispy and very tasty. We also got chance to try few items from their restaurant menu. We tried veg dumpling and veg noodles. Veg dumpling was so yummy with a Chinese type sauce. And finally we had place in tummy for wonderful dish - bacon wrapped prawns. The bacon was so so yummy when mixed with sauce. And coming to desserts, we had blueberry cheese cake which was so yummy to eyes and mouth. Malai gulla was yummy rasmalai. Kaddu ka halwa was too much sweet so we didn't like it much. And finally my first non veg dessert - choco sea salt bacon. Salted Bacon dipped in a chocolate syrup. Begins with a sweet taste and Gives a salty touch at last. Overall this is not only a place for alcohol lovers, it's a must try for food lovers too. Though the prices are at higher end., the ambience deserves a visit

Alchemy is located at the Raj Park Hotel, alwarpet. Went to this place on a weekday. As you go down the stairs to your table you get that typical bar feel yet with a cowboy twist 😁 dunno why I felt that! The chef and manager made us feel warm and comfortable. I let the chef to decide what we should try and boy it was a good choice! It has a fusion menu. I had the best Tandoori Peri Peri chicken in my life! So juicy and packed with flavour! Will go back again for that chicken for sure. The fish and chips, prawns, corn cheese balls were cooked to perfection served with a different mayo sauce which surprisingly paired well with the dishes! Ask for the chef's signature dishes always and don't miss them! They have a wide range of cocktails and mocktails. My friend had something I don't really remember the name but he loved it too. So both the criteria of a lounge bar has been more than satisfied! 😁 Being the biryani freak, I ordered that but it was a bit dry and so was the sesame chicken. Otherwise the food, ambience was on point.

The bar has a high class ambience. It's has a great sense of environment with a great balance of songs and tunes. The food was one of the best I have had however it's was a bit overpriced. The drinks were best served with starters and main course. The music was higher than the requirement and the AC was more chilling than required. It's a great place to hang out with a group of friends!

Pretty good service, standard "bar" ambience nice place to watch a cricket match, drink some beers. Smoking room is good too but the mens toilets have to be improved !

Alchemy looks just so beautiful after all the renovation. Perfect place to hang out with your gang. They have some amazing offers everyday. The food here is so good. I can say alchemy is one of the few bars that serves good food and drinks. Located on the same premises of Raj park hotel parking is not an issue. The service is good as well.

A lowkey, super Amazing bar. They have setup the Ambiance really well. they have a lounge section that is tastefully decorated. they food is excellent quality, they have all the popular choices of finger foods that i would pair well with a beer/brink. I would definitely recommend a visit.

The place was great. We booked for new year party. Although, they should have mentioned the details very clearly in the booking site. That was a bummer. Seating arrangement is good. There is a smoking place as well. Price is a bit on the higher end. We had only starters which came part of the new year package. It was alright. There was a dance floor and DJ music. Waiters are quick and their service was good. Place was not that crowded even during new year eve.

Alchemy is one of the coolest and hip chilled out place in chennai. They have awesome paneer chilli and soft tender juicy tandoori chicken which goes perfectly with chilled cold king fisher beer 🍺. I visited the place with my friend and the pricing is very reasonable! Customer service is top notch and truly deserves 5 star rating. Will surely visit the place again if i am in Chennai next time .

It was a good place to lounge when you have time to kill in airport. The menu is very limited due to covid but the place is well maintained and furnished. The food is nothing to write home about, just about average.

I recently dropped in here to kill an hour before meeting friends for lunch nearby. It's a wonderful place to cool off and refresh on a very hot day in Chennai. Attentive service and good selection. Hope to visit here again.

Always my go to place when every other pub in the city is crowded, almost a hidden gem, alchemy is almost always only sparsely crowded and has quick service. They also provide free snacks with the drinks which is seldom seen in other hotel pubs. The food is also delicious and well prepared. Their buffalo loaded nachos are one of my favourite dishes. The ambience is pleasant with low key vibes. Sometimes their ac is too strong . But a very good experience everytime I've visited

Lovely place, great vibes. Nice selection of drinks. But the food order was way too delayed. We had almost finished our evening when the food arrived. The saving grace is the complementary snacks they serve when we order drinks. Will surely go back though.

Not sure if I’ve visited in an odd time compared to all the reviews. Did not really like the vibe, found the place very shady. Took two cocktails where the tax was also equivalent to the drink! Maybe its a lil overrated!

Good ambience; suited for family as well. Visited I March 2022. Service was appreciable. Very loud DJ music disrupted the conversation and was very annoying. Has a smoke room too.
