I would give them 5 stars if their service was better because the staff are unfriendly. Good ambience, Great food and drinks! My second visit was more pleasant than my first one.

For a place that markets itself as LGBTQ+ friendly, it's bit odd to not allow guys to enter by claiming "Stag" entry not allowed. Utterly funny. Why so much hatred for men? Can be embarrassing if you take your friends and go to this place as they won't allow guys even if you are aged. Better go to some other place. We called another pub, they said they don't have such nonsensical rules and we went there instead.

Radio Room at Somerset is a perfect place to hangout with your family, friends and colleague. It has a beautiful ambiance and decor with perfect music playing which keeps your mind upbeat. Service is excellent so as the seating. They have opened lunch service which also has some offers. What did I have? Non-Veg Starters: Mahi Fish Kebab Pulled Pork Bao Kakinada Chicken Bonda BBQ Chicken Balls Veg Starters: Aloo Tikki Chat Veg Sheekh Kebab Mushroom Toast Thayir Sadham Fritters Karuvepillai Podi Idli Mocktails: Elder Flowerberry Spicy Mango Each and every dish was unique. I’m a fan of their curd rice fritters which is cooked to perfection always(I had it thrice so far). Pork Bao was ultimate :) Karuvepillai Podi idli was awesome. It went well with coconut chutney. Aloo Tikki Chat was tangy and good. Veg Sheekh kebab was as good as non veg kebab. Mushroom toast was crispy. Kakinada Chicken Bonda was spicy but I thoroughly enjoyed eating it. BBQ chicken balls melted in my mouth. Mahi fish Kenyan was ultimate. Best part was none of them were oily. They weee tasty and spices were mixed and marinated at right proportion. Ask the restaurant manager for offers(subject to change from time to time). Eat it. You’ll fall in love with it :)

This place is located within Somerset greenways. It has a separate entrance. The place is calm and has nice music on the weekdays. Whereas on weekends and on days with events, this place becomes so happening. Music, dance etc . Apparently few stars visit the place frequently, didn’t bump into any though. Advise to make a reservation before hand. The service was so good . Drinks was perfect to the way we wanted , surprisingly the food was even more good. The prawns we tried was top notch. A good place to hangout.

Do not go here at any cost!!! Worst experience ever!! We were refused a table even though we had made the reservation a week prior to the visit which was on a Saturday. They confirmed the reservation. We had called them thrice before reaching the place over the course of the week and on the day of reservation. As soon as we entered they stamped us and let us in but they refused to give a table.. What more do they want us to do??! A tip?? The person who refused the table was so rude and lied about us making a reservation! He didn't have any respect and didn't show any decent at all. We went and spoke to the person who stamped us, but all these hassle didn't make a dent. These people lack the basic decency and lack common etiquette. Maybe it is reserved only for their contacts. If that's the case, then they shouldn't even open it for new customers. Beware of this horrible place. Wouldn't recommend this place at all. If there was an option to score in negative I would. We walked away because it ain't worth spending time here when your integrity and mood is spoiled... Horrible. What a waste of time!!

The place inside Somerset in the prime location. Routine security check at the entrance, valet parking is available. Nice place to enjoy the weekends , it’s happening in the weekends than weekdays. Nice place for hangout. If your going to enjoy the party , book Ola or Uber as a precaution about avoid drink and drive as it is prime location you can available taxi services.

Love the place. It's has bit less space though compared to other bars. Food quality is decent . Finish the drink before 12 else bouncers will be on your head

Slim pickings in this city so getting a table here is a miracle even if the place looks empty. Avoid the pizza which is actually flatter than a taco. Decent crowd, attentive service, retro music nights are fun. As good as it gets.

Very Expensive. Glasses are only half full which means that a full drink would be twice the price. Cocktails tasted good, but the value for money is terrible. Food is pretty good actually especially the revised menu. Its not overpriced although the quantity has become a little less post renovation. Staff are are quite courteous too. My only qualm is that we never seem to get a table even while many tables are left unoccupied. This was our fifth time going and prior to this visit we always made a reservation. Even when making reservations we were always sat on the long shared table center of the room even if there are table for twos available. Our fifth visit we thought, screw it, we don't get a table anyways when reserving so let's just enter early, so we got there by 7 30; and lo behold every table was promised and reserved, and we were about to be sat at the bar. Anyways long story short, we were given a table asked to vacate it before we were done saying that it was reserved etc.. etc.. So we do like the place, we usually go in Thursday when they have live music, but again unless you're going with a group of friends exceeding 3 expect to be standing or sharing a long table with others even if there is space. On a side note what we did find fishy and mildly annoying was everytime there were just either 2 or 3 folks sharing the larger space seats and we were never given such seats stating that its meant for a larger group so....maybe reserve for a larger group even when it's just 3 of you :D

One of the best watering hole in Chennai. That has a perfect balance indoor and outdoor set up. Very courteous and helpful staff. The new revamped look is spacious and happening. The new food menu is delicious.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting this pub that was not only showing favoritism to certain customers, but also providing terrible service. The staff was rude and unhelpful, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Unfortunately, I have to say that my experience was quite disappointing. The place wasn’t busy and the atmosphere was lively, I noticed that the staff seemed to treat certain customers differently based on their status. As a regular customer, I felt ignored and overlooked, while others who seemed to be celebrities or VIPs received preferential treatment. It's not fair that the staff doesn't treat everyone equally and with respect, regardless of who they are or what they look like. While the drinks and food were decent, the lack of equal treatment and fairness is a significant downside that I cannot overlook. I hope that the bar management takes steps to ensure that all customers are treated equally and with the same level of service and respect in the future. The behaviour of celebrities bullying around the people, staff ignoring that. Also note that you will be kicked out sharp 12 midnight and celebrities are allowed stay there!

Any customer who visits this pub should leave with a negative review, as this pub does not adhere to basic human decency.

This place is definitely one of the night life spots of Chennai. I have no qualms about the food and the drinks that are available at this place. They are excellent. The ambience is good and so is the music. However, the staff can be extremely snobby. A staff named Praveen, who happens to take care of the entry of individuals, seems to have this air about him that he controls the place. He makes up the rules when he pleases. One day you can enter as long as you're a couple. One day you can only enter as long as you have a reservation. One day he's ready to help you get in and the next he's not. One day he's completely against taking a glass of water outside the premises to help someone in need of water. I totally understand that you have to stand your ground in terms of admission, but you can't change the rules as and when you wish. The hotel management has to lay the ground on these terms.

Prompt service and Excellent ambience! Ideal hangout if you're looking for a pub with a class! I felt safe & the crowd is matured unlike many places where teenagers flock. The entry is controlled and making it comfortable and safe for entrants. Kudos team!

If you are from Chennai or just visiting Chennai and looking for a place to step out, grab a drink and have some good food and music...then Radio Room is your perfect place to go. The space, their decor, music, food, drinks and their staff are all good. It's mostly happening on Fridays and especially Saturdays. I would recommend booking a table week prior to your visit. Or try to walk-in before 10:30pm.

Went to Radio Room with my girlfriend for the very first time and I was a little concerned about whether she would like it or not but she enjoyed it a lot. Their Vibes, drinks, lights, and bartenders were incredible. I got the hendrix gin cocktail and it was perfect paired with dinner. Will definitely be coming back.

But there are lot of other liquor drinks available Highly recommend the pesto paneer, it is really tasty and good. Quality of paneer is awesome Other food items we tried: mozzarella milaga bhaji, crispy chilly paneer, mushroom crisps All of them were very good. Definitely can recommend and will be going back soon I would definitely advise the management to reduce the music loudness. Radio ROOM at MRC Nagar Chennai Cyber , is a place that has been setup for pure party fun - where one would enjoy some awesome drinks and food along with some great music. Well, I am not a party animal but I have been to this place with my office colleagues. Starters were really punchy with some fantastic dressing, and the stuffed mushroom shone among the veg starters. Both of their non veg dishes - prawns & chicken were just too good and go really well with drinks. The pizza was nice and cheesy. Sangria was too good with the fresh cut fruits and a must recommended. All in all it was an amazing experience and I hope to return there soon to enjoy their great food and super economical priced drinks – a definite value for money.

Friday night or Monday evening, the vibe is always great at Radio Room. Food is excellent: try the chicken bao, kalimirch beef, and calamari rings. You might find the drinks weak on weekdays, especially the shots. The place gets quite crowded on weekends, so make reservations if possible.

I’m a regular to Radioroom, the only place in Chennai with good music, great food and also they manage the crowd really well so that it becomes a safer experience overall. All the staffs are also really friendly.

Went on a sunday night for a laid back chill hang.. thankfully it was not too crowded and the ambience was really good.. 90s beats playing in the background.. Mr. Chandru took care of our orders and also suggested some amazing drinks.. really enjoyed the vibe.

Well decorated, well kept pub in one of Chennai's beautiful neighborhoods. The music is good and the staff are courteous. Go here on a Friday or Saturday night to catch up with some celebrities from movies, politics, music and the other elite.

Visited the radio room on a Tuesday evening and with the dwindling night scene of Chennai’s night life with limited locations and stupid government curbs this place stood out. Of course the place was empty but the energy and ambience of the place didn’t disappoint. The decor is great and so is the music. The food is above average and certainly doesn’t disappoint! But I liked what I saw, will return :)

As always, love the vibe, love the food and LOVE the drinks! It was quite empty considering it's the first day, but also felt safe as there weren't many people around. The staff were very polite and friendly (and all masked at all times!!) We were the first customers after they reopened post the second wave madness, so we ended up getting complimentary shots.

Radio Room is an excellent pub in Chennai. Great choice of drinks, good food and a cool ambiance. I would rate this among the best few pubs in Chennai. A good place to hangout after a long work day or if you want to chill-out with your friends. I’ve tried only the wine and it was a good wine. The blubbery cheese cake was mouthwatering!

Great place to hang out. Entrance is on Lords Avenue, with ample parking space. They are okay with people parking their bikes in front of the building. The ambience of the place is really good, and the food is even better. Prawns & mutton in starters were so delicious. Nice collection of drinks as well.

Service is good. Drinks are good too. The best thing about the place is that they play the music that they advertise. So you know what you will get when you go there.

Heard so much about this place but had a terrible experience. The place had some stale smell and we had to ask then to spray some room freshener. The waiters weren't professional or courteous rather they were pretty impolite and casual. The food tasted good but the drinks and music wasn't upto the expectations. Overall we were pretty disappointed with it and didn't stand the hype it has.

The crowd was matured and it was place with top notch service . Plus the music is a bonus. Perfect if u are looking for them night parties or evening dates .

Radio Room is just amazing! Came twice in two days. Great atmosphere and great music, but first and foremost fantastic food and superfriendly, professional staff. Tried seven or eight different items from the food menu and several drinks and beers, all top quality! Will definitely come back if I get the opportunity. Highly recommended!

Excellent cocktails with a touch of local specialities. Must try their Nanari rum cocktail and whiskey cocktails, my personal favorites. Their fish fingers is juicy and just perfect for the drink and to finish it off try their filter coffee tiramisu to ensure you will want to come back again and again. :) thank you for the courteous customer service by the efficient and enthusiastic staff :))
