FOR FIRST TIMERS MAINLY Don't worry too much. Just have all your Debit cards and Credit cards with you if you don't know how to avail it for Rs.2/Rs.75/Free as per your card. Give all your cards to the receptionist, they're extremely kind enough and help you to check all the cards in which card the offer is applicable. Once they identified which card has the offer, they'll inform how much will be deducted and will it be again credited back to you or not. It's in 3rd floor opposite to Gate 8 if I'm not wrong. Buffet menu is good for travel. Cold Sandwich was my favourite. They've lots of cold beverages. Alcohol is chargeable. Spacious and comfortable seats. Wifi is okay for small browsing. Newspapers are available. Few TVs are available inside the lounge for Gate information screening.

I've been to this TFS lounge in Chennai Domestic Terminal about 5 times till now, mostly in the wee hours of the day. (3-5 am) Usually accessible with most debit/credit cards that provide lounge access (Using RuPay to access this place is a breeze! Do check with your bank if they allow complimentary lounge access or else you might end up paying the full amount) The breakfast service starts at around 3-3:30am with a really good choice of cuisines including South Indian, Continental, American and French. Servings are unlimited, although it's courtesy to not hog food and take only what's needed. The bar is mostly open with a decent number of options to pick. This will be additionally charged and is not included in the lounge access. They are also equipped with a soft drink dispenser (Coke, Sprite and Miranda) machine, coffee maker and water purifier inside the lounge. The seating zone is comfortable and well-illuminated with desk lamps close to each seat, has access to charging points with support for Indian and US pins on the side of each chair/recliner and a table to keep your plates and glasses when munching your meal. The lounge is less crowded during early morning hours between 1-3AM, but picks up right after the 3AM mark thanks to people flying on red-eye flights starting as early as 4. During the day, you can also enjoy the view of the ramps while relaxing in this lounge. Would recommend this lounge if you have a few hours to kill in the Domestic Terminal at Chennai before your next flight. Pro tip: if they deny entry at times on the pretext of their card swipe machines not working, insist on them trying your cards at least once. It might just work "magically", if you know what I mean :D

If you have any visa card having lounge access then verification (Entry) fee is only 2/- and If you have any Mastercard having lounge access then verification(Entry) fee is just 25/-. If you don't have any card which have lounge access then you can go with their regular entry fees:-1200-2000/-. You can drink wine inside in their bar. Food is lovely. Tasty food.

Nice place to chill before journey. Breakfast was pretty nice and also lunch. No washroom inside. Not much crowded. AC was too high. No soft drinks available because machine was not working.

TFS lounge in Chennai Domestic Terminal is best option if you have got 1-2 hours wait time for boarding. It in 3rd floor, right in-front of gate 8. They accept almost all cards. For Breakfast, you will have South Indian, Continental, American and French. Servings are unlimited, although take what's needed. The bar is mostly open, but need to pay additional. Soft drink dispenser machine, Coffee maker and water purifier available in the lounge. Enough seating capacity for 50 available with charging points.

A good place for traveller's to relax, eat while waiting for boarding. This facility is for select cards only for others you have to pay in full. They have TV,sofa to relax, food, juice, tea, coffee, beers on buffet. Very good professional service. Food quality and taste is good. They both veg and non veg

Its located on the 3rd floor near reserved Lounge and Irish Cafe. The reception staff is polite and courteous. The overall ambience is good.A good varieties of dishes are served which are arranged properly and are tasty.The sevice is good by the staffs.

Once you enter the domestic terminal and completed your security check, you walk a little front and you'd be able to see a lift on the left side which can be used to go to the third floor where the lounge is situated. You would have to go past the reserved lounge and the rest room to reach here. Typically, you are allowed to enter 3 hours prior to departure time. At the entry of the lounge, you can provide your card in case you have complimentary lounge access through your card. In case you aren't aware, you can give your cards to the person at the entrance and they'll check to tell you if you have. You can also check by yourself if any of your cards provide complimentary lounge access by checking benefits of your card. Well, there was a guy just in front of me in the line who provided 8 cards and the person checked each one. Imagine my situation when even after checking all 8, that guy's card got declined :-( You can relax on the chairs and they have charge points right next to each chair. So, don't worry about the charge on your electronic gadgets. The food is complementary and there is a wide spread of cuisines. For breakfast, there was bread varieties, (normal, toast, sandwich) idly, bonda, sambhar, chutney, Pongal, pav bhaji, eggs, tawa parata, curd. Cothas filter coffee apart from the machine coffee and cool drinks too. Note that announcements won't be heard in the lounge. So, be mindful. You need to board the flight and not just stay in the lounge 😉

Decent lounge... food is just okay.... there is no option for hand washing / restrooms inside the lounge... you will have to depend on the restroom outside

Visited this lounge with a friend. I had 2 master card with lounge access.But I dont know which policy they have that u cant make transaction with same name in same programme(Master card) . Disappointed with their service . Very bad experience.

Had my lunch here with buffet menu offered decent varieties of food items. Chicken tasted so good. Must try here is all since quality and taste of everything was good. Use the lounge if you coming to board flight and they accept almost all card and charge only 2Rs. Must visit to eat well and board the flight 😜

There are two domestic lounges, one on the left side and one on the right side after the security check. Both serve same food n it's best to go to the one closer to your departure gate. The lounge is nice and the food variety is pretty decent. The presentation and taste was also good. The staff was eager to serve, specially Abdul Answar. Lavanya at the reception was efficient and welcoming. Overall a pleasing experience.

I visited with a friend, who had two mastercards with lounge access, but receptionist was not very welcoming and she denied us by showing us the pathetic policy that two mastercards cannot be allowed at the same time. If someone has two cards from different bank, how the hell they can deny someone.

Tfs lounge has lost its charm. Cleanliness is a big issue I could see. Chairs were dirty and some of them had water spilled over them.i guess the passengers are to be blamed. Morning hours are hectic and I do not blame lounge service. But if lounges are to be compared with the best tfs has a long way to go

Decent buffet spread for breakfast. All the items were good and tasty. Make sure to carry your lounge cards to avail it for Rs2 or so. The staffs where friendly and cooperative.

This Premium Lounge for travellers is on the first floor near Gate 3. You need to take the lift to this place. We can access this lounge by producing one of our cards. Usually a master card. It is better not to use your debit card. Once when i used it in the lounge the very next day it was missused by someone in an online portal from abroad for a huge amount , luckily I got a call from my bank and the card was blocked !! The lounge is spacious enough but at times it gets crowded especially when a flight is delayed. Hot breakfast option is available with continental, south and north Indian cuisine. It is better to avoid chenna when we are travelling. Sometimes the Paratha are stale. Sometimes the staff at the reception aren't cordial, it depends on their shift and the crowd. We suggest have to be patient until we get it. You have tk mention if the boarding timing is different or there is a delay. Mostly we are allowed to use the lounge for 2 hours to max 4hrs. They will mention it when we show them the boarding pass. The name on the boarding pass and the credit card should be the same. If there is a minor or kid with you, you need to produce another card for them or else they will charge guest fee which will be more than Rs. 1000/- They have vending machines for soft drinks and steaming filter ☕ coffee!! Water bottles are not available here. Water dispenser is here. You get infused water too. They also serve liquor 🥂🍻on request! The Bar attender serves as per the request!! The lounge has a WiFi access too. Everytime I use this lounge my experience has been different.

Have visited this lounge so many times in chennai Airport. Not so crowded always... Located on the right hand side once you finished the security check. It's on upper level. And lift is available to take you there. Use your credit or debit card with lounge access to get entry.. Otherwise its too costly around 1500rs. (also they check the name on credit card with the boarding pass) The place is small but has all amenities -wifi, TV, arrival/departure notice board, newspapers, bar and buffet place. Buffet menu is limited but well curated and tastes well. Mains, sides, juices, etc. (mains depend on breakfast lunch or dinner timings). The bar charges are extra. Coffee machine and tea bags are available at all time. To be improved 1. There is no table service available., we gotta take care of ourselves. But they help us if we call. Most of the times, they don't care for who is inside 2. Sometimes these American express card marketers give us a hard time persuading us to signup for a card. If you are traveling alone, you will experience this 3. No restroom facilities inside. You need to go out to use the restroom

This place is absolutely horrible. It is just an overcrowded hall that focuses more for those worth credit card rather than frequent flyer program or business class travels. Food is really bad. Refrigerator empty. Beverages machine don’t work. Staffs can’t cope. There is hardly any utensils. Guests are rude. Entry staff are also not the nicest as I guess they are frustrated with everyone trying to use one or another card to get in. Absolutely unbelievable and definitely the worst lounge I have been to…. And I thought JFK was bad.

I was there at around 8am and the breakfast setup was there. It was over crowded and I hardly found a seat. Somehow managed to sit and take the buffet. The food was good. Juices are processed not fresh. Sandwich and breads were fresh. What disappointed me most is the chicken sausages stink. Rest all good to have a small crowdy express breakfast.

Very clean and neat. Guiding staff. Cleaning staff is very active and alert to maintain the cleanliness. Front desk staff having patience to explain and give some time to take their different cards. Food items are not many varieties but, whatever is available is good. It's needs to be extended to manage the crowd.

This is first time experience I am reviewing for here. I had a layover of 8 hours while flying to Port-Blair. So decided to use my airport lounge access to use here. The food and beverages are great here. Plenty of seating are, although it could get a bit crowded at times. Alcoholic drinks are bit costly like in pubs. But if you have airport lounge access in your debit/credit card - you just need to swipe 25rs or less for an unlimited treat while here. Others has to pay 1500 rs or so for this facility.

The place is almost crowded every time I visited this place. 6. The place is also dirty compared to all lounge i have visited in India. 7. There is no washroom inside, you cannot even wash your hands. 8. The food was ok , not that great. 9. Very limited items. 10. All in all , i didn't like the place. 11. Hope to see some changes in my next visit. 12. The staff should also be more professional.

A nice place to chill and have food before a flight. My visit is quite dated (2018 November) so can't comment on current status of the lounge. Back then food was good although the seating arrangements may not be very good for all people. The views are good as well. With one of the high chair tables, you get an almost unobstructed and pedestal high view of the tarmac. Good for avgeeks to spend time here before a flight.

Now open partially after many months due to the pandemic. One can enter after authentication but packed meals are only served now. Tetra pack juice is also given. One should not miss the filter coffee.

Has a good view, being on 3rd floor, quiet place. But didn't quite enjoy the breakfast. Sambar wasn't tasty. Croissant too hard. The veg sandwich was the only thing that was enjoyable.

This lounge is situated at Domestic Terminal of Chennai Airport.... Nicely maintained..... Clean and tidy..... collection of gift items at the Shops inside the terminal is very impressive....

Decent lounge that gives you access for 2 hours with one of their partner cards( Priority pass, mastercard etc.) They had a bunch of breakfast options when I had visited and they all tasted fine. They have comfortable lounge chairs and plenty of charging sockets for all your accessories. The only major drawback is the fact that they do not have restrooms inside the lounge.

Located in first floor near to depature gate 8 of domestic departure area. The entrance is through a lift opposite to gate 5. They take all major visa, Master and Rupay cards for getting free lounge access. The variety of food is limited and kind of ok...view from top is good enough to know the current status of gates from 4-8 Directly from there.. The shop is little bit crowded but lots of seats are available...

Visited the lounge during my return back to home after a short visit in Chennai. Checked in early morning I was bit surprised seeing the crowd. They had a buffet breakfast with lots of varieties of foods, coffee, tea and juices. I enjoyed the food.

I was there at around 2am and the breakfast setup was there. It was not crowded and I hardly found a seat. Somehow find a sit and take the buffet. The food was good. Juices are processed not fresh. Sandwich and breads were fresh. I have seen two lounges there in two sections Rest all good to have a small crowdy express breakfast.

It was a nice place. Just space and verities were a little bit low. Food options were limited too. But overall it was good. Properly hygiene was maintained.

Had a amazing time at the lounge today . Lafir was a wonderful host to me and my parents . We felt very much at ease here . The food was great, I have to admit the pumpkin halwa was 5 ⭐️.

This is an amazing lounge... Kept very clean. Food is great. I just tasted everything little bit to write this review. Pongal, Paratha, Mysore Bonda, cinnamon roll, kheer, baked potatoes, aloo muttar curry and then a filter coffee (machine made but tastes good). Food is awesome. Staff is great and very helpful. A new lounge but maintained poorly . The food can be made definitely better and the service has to be improved. The place is warm and humid. Not certain if air conditioner is working at all

The TFS Lounge at Chennai International Airport's T1 Terminal is a bustling spot, and rightly so – it's a South Indian cuisine haven! However, brace yourself for a bit of a wait; it took me around 10 minutes just to get inside due to the crowd. Once in, the flavors of South India truly shine, making it worth the wait if you're a fan. Just be prepared for the busy vibe before your flight.

I've recently visited TFS lounge (Domestic) Chennai. Since it is a COVID period, they have a set menu which has been served in a use and throw pack. The following are the items served Potato wedges, Masala double omelette, Cocktail Sausage, Croissant, coffee and beverages. Specially the Front desk executive Lavanya was so humble in explaining the program.

Lounge management mentioned that its open 24 hours but its totally wrong. I waited for 5 hours to go inside that lounge but their management told me that plz wait again and again. That very bad.

They will charge extra if you are gonna stay there for 2hrs and more even if u have the lounge access card. At the time of my visit there was no food left, even the glasses weren't there for soft drinks. And also it is overcrowded. I don't think anyone can relax here.
