Order for Meals and Mini Meals during Lunch, got Pongal instead which was served in a name of white rice.. Sambar, Rasam was ok.. Lemon rice was again like kichidi.. They served curd in a paper cup, don't know their logic.. Not worth for Rs.133.. Better we can have in road side Thallu vandi for better Lunch..😔😔😔

My husband and I are regular to this restaurant. It is not overly crowded, reasonably clean, can do with a new vibrant look to attract more customers. The food, (mostly breakfast is our choice,) tastes much better now than before. They are turning out good fresh chutneys and sambar. Hot Chips coffee is outstanding and a family favorite. Limited time space though...they have stopped serving idiyaapams which happens to be my first choice of breakfast. That's a huge disappointment for those.who enjoy string hopes with coconut chutney and kuruma. They catered breakfast for a family function held on 17th June. The breakfast spread was as promised, coffee was excellent snd the service by ARAVIND RAJ, BALAJI and KALAICHELVAN was notably praiseworthy. They wore caps and gloves hence the food was hygienically served. Ther supervisor Mr. Prabhakaran was a gentleman from start to finish. He was polite, accommodative, CHEERS to the outdoor catering team. They served, they cleared, they were pleasant to our guest

We came to hotel at 10.30 am there was no proper response in cashier and only dosa was available we ordered ghee roast and parotta The service lady murmuring herself and make us to wait for more than 20 mins after that the dosa came normal and again she asked us to wait for ghee roast ...... The sweeper shouting and cleaning while on wait The worst worsted experience in the hotel Such a branding name and now it's very ugly and unprofessional Sorry hot chips kindly look in to this before you get...... The quality of food is good. When we look into ambience wise it is ok. Comparable with other high class veg restaurants this restaurant ambience is not up to the mark. The price point makes me feel so high especially for this atmosphere.

Overall this place is a very good place for typical south Indian dishes.I liked all the items like idly, dosai,Pongal and meals. The place is neat and clean.seats are limited and self service other than that you can have nice food over there.combo of pulkha and panner butter masala was good but too spicy.

I ordered coffee for 8 members, but it was very costly. One coffee price 30 rs. But not worth it. And very important coffee like cold temper. Very disappointed in the hotel

Had a breakfast here. The fare seems quite expensive as compared to their ambience, food taste and their hospitality services. You need to approach to the counter to order and to get the food, there won't be any waiters come to your table to take order the serve the same, purely self service.

The restaurant was a go to food chain a few years ago. Many say that their quality has dipped, but I don't think so. Atleast, not this branch. Best coffee you can get in the Tambaram area. Tiffin quality is good too.

Not a great place. Self service and a poor one. The food quality is much to be desired. The costs are too high for the taste. I had experienced various hot chips restaurants long ago. But it seems, that the restaurant has lost its sheen. Not even value for money.

Restaurant has lost it's credibility. Food is very average. Even road side shops taste better. They were known for their filter coffee unique taste, it's also gone to gutter. Poorly managed now.

Nice place for snacks and food. The food is tasty and well prepared. It is mostly self service. The displayed prices do not include taxes. There is notice displayed there which asks to inform a particular number if the workers do not wear hand gloves and hair mesh. Found none were wearing gloves and only two servers were wearing hair mesh which was not covering the hair properly. Possibly the notice may have been put up during covid period. Overall the experience was good.

Decent budget restaurant. No air conditioning. Self service. Quick delivery. Reasonably good taste. Pocket friendly considering their standards and the location. Mini meals and Special meals options for lunch. South Indian delicacies available. No parking for 4 wheelers.

Had mini tiffin combo . In that dosa is good. Others items like idly, vada, chutnies , samabar and poori was average prepared to so early. Mini tiffin cost Rs.129. not worth for money. But got chips filter coffee was excellent, tastes heavenly.

Food quality and taste is really good. Self service Bit costly for a self service

  • 4/5 Sharon B. 2 years ago on Google
Taste was really good. Even quantity was good. But the people(ladies) who were serving the dishes didn't wear gloves nor a mask. I read a note from the restaurant stating that, to take a picture and complaint if their staff did not wear gloves or a head cover. They were wearing head cover but not gloves and mask. That I felt little uncomfortable. Otherwise food was good.

Been here for Brunch. Ordered one ghee dosa, coffee and parotta. Only self service is available. Taste was so good and food was served hot. I felt bad about their wait time. Waited for more than 20 mins to get my dosa. Parotta's were soft and fluffy. coffee was excellent.

The dining experience really sucks because of the open air infected place around. The coffee holds out as the best among the rest here.

Decent South Indian vegetarian restaurant located in Tambaram Chennai. They offer from meals to idli, dosas, mini meals and etc. Taste wise it "Just OK". Quality of rice used in meals are poor. Prices are on the higher side.
