We
wanted
to
visit
vadapalani
murugan
temple,
and
we
did
go
on
8th
morning,
but
it
was
literally
unbelivable,
the
que
was
standing
all
the
way
upto
arcot
road.
So
we
came
back
and
in
the
evening
we
decided
to
visit
this
murugan
temple
in
porur.
Have
passed
a
few
times
along
this
road,
infact
we
even
visited
the
ramanadheeswarar
temple
which
is
just
a
stone's
throw
away
from
this
temple,
but
we
havent
gone
inside
so
far.
It
was
an
auspicious
day,
hence
there
was
lot
of
crowd
in
the
temple
and
also
the
loud
speakers
were
blarring
at
full
volume.
Looking
at
the
setup
and
construction
etc,
we
thought
this
was
a
private
temple,
but
then
we
saw
the
board
which
says
that
this
temple
comes
under
the
HR&CE
Board.
Lord
muruga
faces
east,
Rajagopuram
faces
east,
temple
faces
east,
kodimaram
present.
The
crowd
was
very
high
hence
neither
could
i
look
around
or
could
have
a
peaceful
darshan,
but
still
i
notice
a
unique
thing
which
is
lord
murugan
is
in
sitting
posture,
not
sure
he
is
sitting
on
the
peacock,
but
he
is
in
a
sitting
posture
with
his
right
leg
folded.
majority
of
the
places
you
can
see
lord
murugan
standing
either
alone
or
with
valli
and
deivaani.
also
the
statue
was
compact.
temple
in
a
very
crowded
area,
closer
to
the
porur
junction,
and
literally
there
is
no
parking
space
for
even
the
two
wheelers.
worth
a
visit
if
you
are
in
this
area.
