    I love this temple for its traditional way of performing pooja and all mantras are chanted in Tamil. This temple is fondly remembered as Chennai il Chidambaram. As Chidambaram here also they do abhishegam for maragatha lingam six times a day.

    This temple is a boon to people who cannot travel to Chidambaram frequently to see the graceful dance of Natarajar. There are lot of events happening and learnt lot of information related to Saiva siddhānta and 63 nayanmaars through my frequent visits to this temple. Please do visit and share your experience

    small cute temple ...people in this temple are very great and very much attached with lord shiva...all are wearing rudraksham,thiruneeru,and thay say namachivaya when see others insterd of good morning etc....

    It's really a new experience to praise Lord Shiva in a new way and all the slogans are in Tamil, which helps to understand it well. Temple will be like ur own family. Pleasant to have it in my nearby place.

    Very good vibration thay do Pooja in Tamil ..it is one of the two temple in Chennai were god Shiva in nadarajar form as main deity....while thay do Pooja we are able to feel Shiva in us ......

    The temple is fine.Poojas was performed daily twice .Every sunday evening Bairavar pooja performed very nicely.Prathosam,Sangatagara sathurthi and other poojas have also done regularly.The temple is gift to the Alapkkam people.

    A normal temple with a narrow street but very famous among the local people. Festives will be celebrated in a grand manner. Nice place to visit.

    I love this temple very much because the poojas and pulaskaras done here are similar to chidambaram not only that patientcy and oneness is the key role of this temple, u can experience with what I am saying wen u enter this temple,,,,, jai Sambo mahadeva
