We had such a pleasant drive through experience here tonight (around 9:30 PM). The woman at the cash register had excellent service and such a good attitude. Genuinely seemed happy to be there helping people get their orders and was very polite. She was also awesome at her job. When we pulled around to pay and pick up our food, she was doing such a great job multi-tasking and taking someone else's order while also taking payment and getting us ours. Our order was hot and accurate too. Great job!

Cook Out Wards Rd is now BYO__ Bring your own napkins Bring your own salt and pepper Bring your own fries Like many others with similarly unappetizing experiences, I was invited to call their corporate office. Just like all the others, I left my contact info. And that was the end of it. Top down leadership in action. Strike 1: They were out of napkins. Strike 2: No salt and pepper even tho I requested twice at the pick up window. Strike 3: They simply missed adding fries to the bag. Forfeit: We’re all human and make mistakes and these are certainly minor. What is not insignificant is they way I was treated when I made a courteous request for items typically included in drive thru—like food I ordered and paid for and napkins. Meanwhile, my burger is quickly cooling in the car. Two silly girls at the walk up window laughed, made fun of me to each other, and yelled at me when I asked for the manager. I’d gotten nowhere with them in 10 min and my burger is getting colder. WHY? The polite man who finally delivered my missing fries explained that they were out of napkins and had sent someone to Farmville for official Cook Out napkins. Where’s the logic? No napkins versus plain napkins from a nearby grocery store in a pinch? Just like their sign which is half-lit, Cook Out strikes OUT! They should take a page from the playbook of the famous chicken restaurant that closes on Sundays and send their staff to a top-notch school of customer service.

Only gave 2 stars because the nuggets were good! The top half was done as I got into the middle, I stopped and just spreaded it apart and as you can see it's raw🤮

Very good food n shakes, soooo many different shake flavors. The food is inexpensive, but for a guy u may consider ordering more food. They even offer Texas Pete sauce n great options on their food, great coleslaw, awesome customer service. We wish we had a Cook Out near us. I do recommend

What a refreshing experience - pleasantly surprised. The gentleman taking our order was polite and friendly. We got burgers and a a chicken sandwich - both were good. We then all got different sides so we could try the options and they were all great! Restaurant was super clean! We will definitely be back!

Cook out! One of my favorite fast food chains. The food is fast, but the quality is top notch, which is positively unusual for fast food. I love the tray and Jr tray options, and have made a tray with a shake my usual order. The cheeseburger quesadilla is an absolute hero of food value, and the white cheddar cheese bites are one of my biggest cravings. The best part is how late they're open. There aren't many places to get hot food at midnight, but Cook Out is there for me. Well, technically, I'm there for Cook Out, but is there really an important difference?

I visited the cookout tonight... I solely go there for there "Fancy Milkshakes"... They are very good and homemade! The service here is very good... The price is very good... The food here is Suprisingly good aswell... The only issue every now and then with the cookout is that the line around the building with college students is pretty deep and uncontrollable but even with this issue they still manage to get the food to you!

Cookout is a great place to eat if you want a good value. It’s not gourmet food by any means but, for fast food, it’s top notch. We had a big order and they didn’t get anything wrong, the food came out hot and we didn’t wait long at all.

Oh the rare occasion that we get to a town with a Cookout, I gotta get a milkshake. Chose the peanut butter on this one and it did not disappoint. Long line at the drive thru when we arrived but it went quick.

We've been here several times, and the food is always consistently good! They are nearly always busy but still very efficient. I really wish they would install a second drive-thru lane, though. I believe it would make their drive through more efficient and help the line that's nearly out onto wards road at times.

Cookout is a nonexistent fast food franchise in my home state of Pennsylvania, so on our way to Myrtle Beach, my boyfriend and I decided to stop at this one. I love it! The burger was great (mmm, chargrill flavor), and the fries were among the best fast food fries I've had. My only complaint: The Oreo Peanut Butter milkshake I ordered had most of the peanut butter towards the bottom instead of mixed throughout. However, the milkshake was still good, and the oreos weren't eviscerated like some other places do. All in all? Very good experience here, and I wish and hope that Cookout would expand to Pennsylvania (or at the very very least, Southwestern Pennsylvania).

I don't care if drove thru is packed because these people know how to handle it. I never wait too long to get my pineapple banana shake that is made with real freaking fruit. No one else in the city thats affordable makes shakes with real fruit! And peeps who work here are awesome!

If I could give it 10 out of 5 I would. Nearly half the cost of what it normally takes to Fred my family when we go out, but way better food. Also super fast and great customer service.

Great fast food at a low price. When I visit the southern states,u Cookout is a must!!! Planning your first visit to CookOut, I would suggest you have patience.I continuously see myself in the shoes of the other customer who goes inside and walks out with an order...... it's much, much, much faster than drive-thru. Lets not forget about the ' t h i c k shakes with real fruit' they offer ( other fast food enterprises need lessons from CO). One issue I have is they are only in the southern states...Cookout, ever thought of expanding to the Northeastern states🤔?

My most recent trip here was extremely disappointing. I tried contacting the company directly, but have not received a response. Our order was not correct and the cook out tray we ordered had the smallest amount of fries when my boyfriend asked for double fries. My wrap had brown lettuce in it and was not the wrap I ordered. Just disappointed.

BEST PLACE ON THE EAST COAST! CHEAP, AMAZING! I don't know how the staff can handle all of this, but they do it! They know how to handle the insane traffic that comes in the door. Such fast service! Great shakes! perfect prices, amazing portions.

That Carbroil grill smell draws you in and then the burgers- don't disappoint. But the grilled chicken sandwich is my favorite. Best chicken sandwich! The combos are fun with lots of choices. The HUGH TEA!- is satisfying!

The food here is always so great and I ran out of money on my debit card and the cashier payed for it without me even knowing. It’s nice to see a restaurant with such nice employees. Shout to the man in the tie dye shirt and glasses.

Great vibe as the place is always packed. Definitely a younger crowd. Prices are unbelievable! You can get a plate for about 5 bucks. The milkshakes are number one though. Super thick and made from quality ingredients and they only cost 3 dollars! Great deal. Check it out!

Best fast food restaurant! Everything is always hot and fresh! Never have to wait long for food. Great cheeseburgers! They grill their food, so all the burgers and hotdogs have that char grilled taste to them.

They messed up the whole order. But unfortunately I was already home before I opened it up. 😕 so much for eating out. Ended up making dinner and throwing most of the meal away. I have only eaten here twice and both times something was messed up. Not as bad as this time. But still wrong orders are wrong orders. The one thing that was what I ordered was the cheese curds and they had cooked them so long all the cheese had come out and it was basically a wad of cheese and some empty breading. I won't be back.

Fast service, great food for a very affordable price, and tons of seating options. I love their menu selection and dozens of milkshake flavors to choose from, as well as friendly employees who stayed patient for me, because I’m very indecisive.

This used to be a good meal for a good price. Now it's over-priced cheap food. The order counter was dirty, and the lady working there was not happy, or even courteous. The soda fountain area was also dirty. The clean table we thought we found was sticky. Not somewhere I will come back too.

Always quick, accurate and friendly. And only fast food place that you can get REAL fruit in a milk shake. Not puree!! Love love that!

I ordered 2 BBQ trays with double orders of hush puppies and got chicken nuggets. It's A good thing I checked b4 I left the parking lot. I even repeated the order back to the person. It's like that several times I have been to this store. Its Ridiculous

Always great food and service. The line was all the way around the building....twice, so I walked up to the window. Got my food within 5 minutes. I always get the barbecue and hush puppies and it's always great. Thanks guys!

I ordered a 1/4 burger and literally didn’t get a patty. Like what in the world is this? I thought this was stuff you only see online but apparently not.

This cookout was bomb! Loved the chicken quesadilla! And BLT! Cajun fries on point! Service was Awesome 👍 The line wraps around but goes fairly quickly. You just have no control over idiots who don't know how to drive through drive thru lines😂🤦🤷

Love this place!!! We normally go when it first opens (around 10:30-11am). The food is fresh and hot. Great food for the price.

Went through the drive through this time: I spent $33 on burgers, onion rings, and fries for four. There were many options to choose from, but I had a hard time telling the burgers apart. The burger had been sacked into the wrapper like it was prepared by a sloppy, angry person and the food was jammed into the bags so it came out of the bag mashed into a fried ball of grease and paper. The burgers weren't much to show for as there were more onions than burger. There was no ketchup or napkins provided. Quality is low, price is cheap, taste is okay, and the employees seemed nice. *Dine-in was a way better experience* Don't do drive through unless you're really in a hurry!

The fries were not good they look like some one just sucked the life of them! I can make better then that but corn dog were great .

Location is a bit difficult to get in and out of when busy. However, quick service and the food is what you expect for fast food. One of the few places that stays open late. Also quick note, I was charged for the cup when all I wanted was water with my dinner. I thought that was a bit unusual.

Ordered a burger lettuce, tomato, mayo, onion. Corn dog and onion rings. Peach milkshake. Went through drive thru. Got down the road only to find, burger dry only meat and bun. No ketchup or mustard for C. D. Or O. R. Tasted like dish water. Still trying to get a taste of milkshake, it's been 2 hours. It doesn't melt. Very disappointed!!!

There milkshakes years ago were creamy and delicious! Made with real milk and cream, so good! Not sure what happened but there flavorless now and taste like ice milk and watery. Wont ever go back !

Drive through order today to take home. Left the chili off of my Cook Out Style Dbl burger which is why I went there! Urgh! Both burgers overcooked and dry but mayo brought them back to life! Called corporate and they answered! (9PM!) Promised to make it up to us. Fries were perfect as always. Will we go back? Absolutely!! Cook Out Rule: Check order before leaving! **UPDATE** July 3rd. Received coupon for replacement burger and a nice "We will try to do better next time" letter. Good enough!

Tonight when I went through the drive through I noticed the guy at the window give the lady in front of me my food. She checked it and gave it back, sure enough it was mine. (Don’t like the idea of someone else touching my food) I got my two wraps and checked them, they were fine. I got home and opened my shake to have gotten the complete wrong shake. This also isn’t the first time this has happened to me here and I’m honestly so tired of it. I want what I order because that’s what I ordered. I’m tired of getting stuck with other peoples food.

I LOVE Cook-Out!! Just like any place and any person, there are items here that I may not necessarily prefer, BUT everything that I've had tastes good. My favorites are the hotdog cook out style, the cheeseburger, the hush puppies, milkshakes (specifically anything with banana, cheesecake, caramel, chocolate chips, or peanut butter), grilled chicken sandwiches, and chicken wraps. Any time I go home or down south, I MUST stop at cookout, and it's always been good, no matter the location. And they have cheerwine and chewy ice!!

  • 1/5 Nicole T. 1 year ago on Google
Quality has fallen terribly. The burgers used to be so good and super filling. Now the prices compared to the food are expensive for very little in the way of an actual meal. Big double cheddar style used to be The Thing. Now i could get more quality, better taste, and a thicker burger off McDonald's dollar menu

Fast service but really 4 rings??? The cup of slaw is like a pack of sugar.

  • 4/5 J P W. 1 year ago on Google
Very friendly counter staff. Prompt service. Fortunately the dining room wasn't crowded. The drive thru was a steady stream of customers during our entire visit. The fresh banana shake needed no straw - just a spoon! Three of us dined for a little over $20.

  • 5/5 Apples B. 1 year ago on Google
The girl in the window was so sweet and helpful! She gave me both a straw and a spoon for my shake without me even having to ask and she asked if we wanted any dipping sauce which was so considerate and I was gonna ask for that too but it was really nice that she beat me to it! Our order was correct, the drive thru was super fast, and the food was super hot and fresh. Quesadillas had a good amount of sauce and my onion rings were crispy!
