BahDah opened quietly in March 2020, unfortunately at the beginning of the lockdown. But, in just a mere couple months, they certainly have the attention of sushi devotees in the area. And rightly so, the sushi is fresh, delicate and incredibly delicious. The tempura rolls are perfectly crisp and have the right sauce-to-roll ratio, with Dynamite and Amazing Shrimp deserving special mentions. Do not underestimate their Entree menu with the succulent Pork Katsu and the Chicken Gangjung (Fried chicken dredged in sticky sweet and spicy sauce) on it. Keep an eye out on their daily specials menu which is more than generous in price and quantity. The review would be incomplete without speaking about the family running the restaurant. From the person answering your call for a takeout, to the pleasant notes they leave on your boxes, to taping the Wasabi container so it doesn’t move within the box, it shows you their genuine interest in making sure you have a utterly delightful experience. Absolutely must visit!

First time & last time. Burgers look nothing like the photos and the bread tasted microwaved. We got it home in time to still be warm but the cheese Fries and chili fries were so dry and sad. Even the regular order of fries were just... taste like they been sitting in the car for 5 hours. Could not wrap my brain around it. Ordered 12 burgers too, really really disapointted as it was such beautiful weather that day. Give the cooks PTO sometimes. Cause Something ain't right 😢

The place is amazing when it comes to flavorful sliders, even better for the experience! Downtown vibes, nothing beats it! Arts Beats and Eats workers really did an amazing job with the burgers too as everyone seemed to be served rather fast for what we got! Thanks again guys!

Was good for the price. Quirky little burger shop. I'd get two double sliders next time.

Tried for the first time today. I ordered three sliders fries and coke. Mrs had turkey burger curly fries and coke. 17+ dollars. Burger meat was hard and rubbery. Fries undone and cold. Turkey burger was a low grade frozen patty. Horrible.

Easy parking...all around! 2 (brothers) w/ mask on- both cooking. Nice gentlemen. Easy to read Menu on wall. Cheeseburgers, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chili, Sliders, Shakes, etc.etc. (Granddaughter got this)... 1 Slider w/ cheese, no pickle, no mustard- no problem. Just her size! Fries and a drink! She loved it! Squirted her own ketchup from squeeze-bottle! Shook her own salt! Homemade Shakes, Many Beverage Choices in cooler. Every other round, red leather- Soda Shoppe seat removed (for social distancing)! Can eat inside, or outside, or get to go! Great prices! I had a 1/4 lb + Mushroom Burger w/ Onions and Swiss, Lettuce, Tomato! Wrapped-up in quality paper. Hubby had same Burger! His was on a Pretzel Bun! All Served in a red, paper-lined, basket with a very generous portion of freshly fried, hot, shoestring fries! + A drink of your choice from cooler! Delicious! Look for Directions & Menu on Google. This is clearly one of the coolest restaurants in the region. Whenever I come there I am profoundly pleased. They hold their high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they provide. You always win with this place. Highly recommended.

First time here today and it was really good! So cute how they secured little containers of soy, ginger and wasabi on the takeout box. Will definitely order from here again. Very convenient location right on Woodward Ave.

Lil Bros is awesome. I love these small little dives and diners because they have some of the best food. There may not be a great ton of offerings when you come here but you don't come here for that, you come to places like these for what they are known for.................sliders and maybe fries. This was my first time coming to lil bros and so I was anxious to see if they would live up to the hype of my other slide must go in Royal Oak. Needless to say they passed the test. Royal Oak has an amazing combo of whatever it is ur looking for from fine dining to everything in between. The sliders were absolutely amazing and while that shouldn't have been a surprise......it was. The burgers were fresh and although they weren't necessarily fast, they weren't slow either. The location is very very very cozy to say the least but the food that comes out of their kitchen has big flavor which is why you may consistently see a line out of this place. They do have a small seating area outside which is nice on a good day. Also one of the best things about lil bros besides the food is that it's next to an awesome ice cream shop that is wonderful as well.

I love this place! The food is perfect when you're looking for something super quick and greasy or fried. I've had almost everything on the menu and nothing has disappointed. The employees are also super friendly and will make you laugh. They play good music and always have cool stuff on the TV's. There's also seating outside. For vegetarians, there's mozzarella sticks and fried ravioli. For vegans, they have a veggie burger now. Special kudos for having Faygo and Vernors. It's a very Michigan burger joint.

I enjoy eating little bro’s, but lately my order has been consistently messed up. This has happened to me three times now in the last three weeks. The guy at the front gave me the bag letting me know it’s only “lettuce and tomatoes”, but in the slider it had cheese and onion along with lettuce and tomatoes. I’ve tried calling but no one picks up, so I had to drive back twice before, but now I can’t due to being in a zoom call. I am a regular an normally enjoy the service. Just very disappointed in recent visits. Hoping to get store credit or something, if not probably will not return.

If you know, you know. Shout out to my man running this joint for what seems like decades.

Little Bros. I've been coming to Little Bros for the better part of my (almost) 5 year stint in Michigan so far, and it's really becoming a staple of the complete night out in Royal Oak for my group of friends. For those who haven't seen the storefront, I'll give you a little preview: It's a small building with classic styling themes and a straightforward menu. Calling out the small factor now because that's probably one of the only gripes that people will have about Little Bros: it gets cramped inside whenever it's busy. Inside the restaurant, the seating area is an L-shaped Bar, with less than 10 seats (approx.) altogether. When it's busy -- AKA the end of the night -- you'll find that it's standing room only as people are waiting for their food. Usually it's not the end of the world as food arrives quite quickly and people who are standing cycle in and out quickly. Onto the food and drinks! The menu is laid out on the wall breaking down the standard fare and it's what you'd expect: burgers, sliders, chicken strips, etc. As mentioned before, the food comes out quickly, but everything happens pretty quickly at the restaurant. It's no Michelin Star restaurant, but taste is solid and won't leave you with any complaints. With the shuffle of folks in and out and limited space inside, efficiency is the name of the game at peak times. If you're still trying to figure out what to get, step to the side and let the regulars order first (it helps everyone, I promise). Saving the best for last -- the folks who operate the restaurant. Seriously everyone at Little Bros is cool and kind to customers. My friends who frequent Royal Oak tend to go every week and have developed a great connection with the staff, it's awesome to see it. Go support a local business and try out Little Bros!

Tried out Little Brothers Burgers today for lunch. What a great little spot. I got the three sliders combo and the Quarter Burger combo. So many fries! My sliders were good, a little over cooked and I couldn’t seem to bite through the pickles...lol. But, the Quarter burger was perfect. Such a great vibe here. Sat the counter and listened to oldies hip hop while chowing down. Will be back.

Entering this little burger place for the first time, you might not think much of it. Think again. These burgers are a staple in my life I have eaten a lot of small burger diners in my life, The Telway in Madison Heights and Hunter House in Birmingham come to mind but they both fall just short of my hometown favorite Little Bros. I love this place the vibes are always amazing and the smell that comes off the grill is heavenly. Stop by. Seriously. It’s the best thing you will do that day nothing compares.

It intrigued me as I walked passed Christmas shopping, so much so that I had to double back. It didn't disappoint, especially the coney dog. Burger was bigger than what I think as a slider, which was nice. Fries were perfectly crispy. Quick and friendly service too.

My go to spot for sliders (really full on burgers with small patties) they use grilled onions on all sandwhiches and a beautiful amount of ketchup and mustard with super crispy pickles. I highly recommend if you want a fun, tasty, snack or delicious meal. I love this place. (Also the brothers crew are top notch)

Wow. Just wow! It's been over a year since I've had sushi. This past year has been trying, and our (previous) favorite sushi restaurant is too far away to warrant doing carry out. I can truly say I have a new favorite and it's only 5 minutes away! My wife said this place was clean, didn't smell fishy, and was super efficient. The fish was all fresh and flavorful, and the house rolls are very creative. Some of the combinations I've never seen or tasted before, but they all worked. I agree with my wife who said it all tasted so good she didn't need soy, wasabi, spicy mayo or anything else to dip in. The rice was tender, chewy, and not overly vinegared. I will definitely go back for carry out, and am looking forward to being able to dine in.

  • 5/5 Gwendolyn B. 3 years ago on Google
Wow. I'm picky when it comes to sushi. Their raw tuna tastes like the sea. Their rolls are all perfect. Every bite was delicious! And from a picky eater, that means a lot! Love the Nuke. It has a spicy kick! Salad roll was unique and fresh. Spicy tuna was delicious! I normally add sauce to everything, but tonight I added sauce to nothing! Thank you for a great dinner!!!

First time trying this spot, and absolutely loved it! The menu was super extensive, and everything we ordered was delicious. One of the selling factors was the BOGO special on sushi! Meant to take pictures to post, but we devoured it almost immediately. Miso soup was hot and fresh. I liked that they had an abundance of gluten free options, and vegetarian options. Will definitely be back soon!

This review is based on my 1st visit and I will be back. I got my normal shrimp tempura roll without cucumber. It was so good I had to eat it all. Fountain Coke products is also a plus. Prices more than fair. Staff in masks and gloves, but instead of one use menus, they are using their normal ones and wiping them off. Some tables off limits. With many other sushi places not offering dine in, this place should be busier.

Alright, here's the run down of this review. I ordered the Chicken katsu and cheesecake tempura. The chicken katsu comes with some pickles, coleslaw, white rice and the katsu sauce. The katsu sauce is a bit sweet and savory, very pleased by the taste and complementary flavors from this. The rice was very good like you could actually eat this rice on it's own or with the sauce, didn't have it warm so it may be different if you sit down at the restaurant. The coleslaw was actually very pleasant (I don't really like coleslaw) and I ate half of it. I didn't touch the pickles because I never like the flavor or texture from them. The main dish, chicken katsu, was very nice! A good thinness and coating, seasoned nicely, kinda wish there was some crunch with the breading but it was still good. Overall I really enjoyed how the dish was made and most likely I'll order this again. I also ordered cheesecake tempura, very good like a y other cheesecake tempura.

Only giving it 3 stars because it was my first time and all I got were 2 rolls and they look nothing like what the other picture shows on the review before mine. It was soaked in teriyaki sauce? And very small. The free miso was delicious and a pleasant touch. I guess I’m still on the hunt for a good sushi joint around here.

The staff helped me pick out the best option for what I needed. Food was done so fast and was so tasty. It looked like a McDonalds burger(size, bun) but it’s flavor was OUT of this world delicious!! Fries were hot and just the right crispiness! That will be our regular stop when we are going from Royal Oak to Grand Rapids at dinner time!

We were in the area and had a little time to kill around noon when I saw this shop, and the tiny little diner spoke to me I guess. We went in and I was a little shocked by the size (oh honey, it’s SMALL), but they were playing Sisters of Mercy so I felt at home right away. It was a bit of a wait for the food, but I watched them make everything so I wasn’t surprised — these guys put a lot of love and effort into their sliders. We ended up eating outside, and while there’s not a lot of seating, they did their best to utilize the space and added a bar and stools. The cashier was super nice and accommodating, and the atmosphere was right in my Q-zone. Food was great for the price: $9.99 for two big sliders (I’d just call them burgers honestly lol), a whole mess of fries, and a canned soda. 10/10 will dine again, but maybe just get one slider next time because I couldn’t finish! 😂

  • 4/5 Anonymous 1 year ago on Google
Love their food! Fries are fresh and salty, the sliders are large and not your average itty-bitty slider. They’re quick and prices are reasonable. So glad they made their way to the Shores!

Greatest of all times, been a frequent and there is something secret about this place. Small venue sits 5, and never a long wait. Carry out is best if you are on the go. Spicy chicken is my favorite.

Little brothers burgers is a small cozy diner in the heart of Downtown Royal Oak. Their main staples are sliders, burgers and fries. Grab a seat at the counter and make a friend or two. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable.
