A small hike to this hidden bit of history. The markers tell a story of a family who parished long before any of us were around. It is a small hike to get to. Don't recommend doing it in the summer. I wish someone would come rescue this graveyard before the history is lost though.

Our first time camping as a small family. Very very nice park, the campground hosts are wonderful and so nice. They are willing to give advice and chat about the park and things to do, they also sell ice and fire wood which is very handy. Nice little stocked pond to fish (hybrid blue gill and some catfish) and was re- stocked while we were there. Saw plenty of deer and a nice little trail to hike on the campgrounds as well. Also have nice large private family showers and two different bathroom houses. Very small campground but still very private units. Will be visiting for more years to come

This is a decent size park, never actually been there before so wasn't sure what to expect but the trailmud2ft pathway that had a few muddy spots and there was a tree across but we managed. It was just raining the day before so sure once it dries out it won't be so bad. There were several areas but got there later in the evening so only had time for one trail. Would love to go back again very soon.

Nice small state campground. Sites are fairly private. Looked like a few homeless types camping. Host was great. However the place was infested with TICKS! Even walking on the gravel sites and drives you would get them. Can't imagine actually going in the woods. Will avoid except perhaps in the winter.

Very nice camping areas, some with hookups, some basic with tent spot, campfire ring and picnic table. Bathrooms at either end and shower building on one side. Lots of wildlife, birds, squirrels, deer. No river access near camping area, though boat launch not too far away...pond with fishing pretty close to camp area. We enjoyed our time here.

The campsites are spread out and the campground is not crowded. They have shower, they are not the cleanest but they are decent. Bathrooms are relatively clean and there are bathrooms on both ends of the loop. There was plenty of clean water available. We camped with a tent and in a shaded site (#2). The site was nice and the tent area had a slight grade for water runoff. There was not a tent pad just the ground, and there were a few very small rocks and roots in the area. It was not really a big issue with a tarp laid down. I would have rated it a 4 star but there was one big issue especially for tent campers. I don't know about the opposite side of the loop but at Site #2 there was a lot of noise coming from the highway even until 2AM. It seemed that everyone in the area owned a LOUD motorcycle or removed the muffler from their truck/car. I believe the traffic noise was from Highway- O. If you have a RV it would probably not be an issue and I cant speak to the other side of the loop since it is on the other side of the hill. They have tent sites that have tent pads that are on balconies/wood platforms, built into the side of the hill which look out into the forest. Those may be interesting to camp at. Overall while it was a nice well maintained campground, but I would not return, tent camping, due to the traffic noise that ran well into the early AM hours.

Campsites are well taken care of and are tucked away in bays within the woods. We loved the privacy, and so did our dog. It's such a convenient drive from STL County and a good price. Will definitely be back.

We camped over night here and enjoyed our stay. The campground was quiet at 10pm and everyone around us was very friendly. The only complaint is we slept in our tent in site #4 and it was not level. All the other sites around us seemed better for a tent.

Camp grounds are clean, lots of trails , not a place to swim but 3 miles down the road is a nice swimming hole. If your wanting to get away for some peace and quiet with lots of walking trails Robertsville State park is for you !

It's not as secluded as they claim. I just took some Ibuprofen PM because you can hear a ton of traffic. When I go camping, traffic isn't what I want to hear. They also have multiple gates that they lock at 9pm. If I wanted a curfew, I would go back to being a teenager. Went to the park office when I got here, and of course, no one was there. You have no option but to reserve a site online because the park host isn't on duty until 7 pm. I don't see me coming back here to pay to listen to traffic all night and have a curfew. I am not impressed and would say not to waste your time or money. There are better places, like your own backyard.

It's good for a family BBQ. That's what we always did here but as far as taking the kids, it's a little outdated. Can't speak for camping but with the electric lines running right up the middle and homes down the side, it's not much for scenic
