This place legit changed my life. Came in with loss of feeling in most of my left leg, hip pain, back pain, a pinched nerve, hearing loss, loss of balance, and gut issues causing some very uncomfortable situations. After the first visit I immediately noticed a change in everything listed above. I just finished my 5th visit and I have almost full feeling back in my leg, my hip pain is completely gone, my pinched nerve is gone, my balance is almost 100% again, and I got some of my hearing back. Elissa treated me and I appreciate her vast knowledge, compassionate approach, sense of humor, and just the plain fact that she listened to me. I've been seeing Kristin regularly and can't say enough positive things about this experience! I've had back pain from stress for Years and electro-acupuncture has been life-changing for my pain. As a scientist, I greatly appreciate the biomedical lens applied to traditional healing methods. Kristin always takes my requests into account if certain spots are particularly responsive to the needles and adjusts accordingly. Where I used to have sharp pain, I've lessened to just tension -- and even that has begun to dissipate with weekly treatment. All practitioners I've encountered here are very kind and welcoming. Elisa is amazing--her technique, knowledge, calm and friendly manner, all make the experience worth while. She does all she can to tailor the treatment to what your body needs. I started going to Dane County acupuncture less then a year. And my treatments were typical, but not getting results for my pain to the standard of a facility that I’ve been to for acupuncture. I knew that because one time I had to take a needle out of my back when I got to the car they left one in. The vibe of the place is no sensitivity and non zen feel ! Smoke and mirrors!!
