It was my first time to go to THE HEIGHTS, but it was for my granddaughters 4th Birthday Party and I was NOT going to miss this special occasion for anything. The drive was easy, from St. John just get on 170 south to Eager Rd. Take it to Hanley south, and make a left turn at the first stop light, that's Dale. It's not very far from there, maybe a half a block or so. The parking is free and very ample for so many vehicles. The handicap parking is extremely well placed with finally enough spaces to accommodate plenty of people. It is equipped with wheelchair accessible sidewalks and doors. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I was given a paper bracelet when I chcked in, then I was escorted to the party room. After play time, opening the gifts, and then the birthday cake, it was time to move on to the indoor pool party. One thing that I especially want to point out about the pool accommodations is the 3 different changing rooms. They have a men's changing locker room, a ladies only one, and a family changing locker room. All have plenty of space and privacy to change. The shower is also private. The toilet room is large enough for parents to help with the little ones and is also private. The pool is simply sensational! Lots of play space and things to entertain children, with divided areas for swimming laps, I saw a whirlpool or maybe it was a hot tub, but it certainly has something for everyone. Even plenty of seating on the sideline, some bench style, some chairs and a table for your things. Parents are supposed to be in the pool with their child at all times. I don't know if that rule applies to older children or not, but my granddaughter was turning 4, and most of the children attending the party were quite young. This is one of the nicest community centers I've seen in a long time. Also, there were lifeguards on duty at all times. I didn't get in the pool, I was having too much fun watching the kids play and their parents chase after their child. I took pictures and videos of them playing until my phone was almost completely dead but I had a wonderful time. Thank you for reading my post. Mary Ann πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚

Bad customer service, I talked to them over the phone and they asked me to go in person to fill a form like a very old-fashioned way. I went there and filled the form, Kay Lynn was suppose to call me within a week and it's been forever and she never called. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Lady working at the front desk was awfully rude. Told her we were there to see my nephew at his swimming class with the swim school. We made it clear we weren't there to utilize the facility just to watch our family in there class, which is separate from the facility. She then said we can't go unless we pay for passes, and then laughed in my wife's face when she saw it upset and frustrated us. Luckily i was able to get ahold of someone above her and was told i can get a refund. But still awful service and awful treatment to a human. This was on a friday june 23 2023

The Heights was an amazing gym. I went there primarily to lap swim. But, unfortunately due to the lifeguard shortage they severely cut lap lane hours which no longer fit my schedule. Had to switch to the Clayton Center instead. :-(

Pretty legit, worth checking out. Do you know they will watch your kids while you work out. How cool is that??🀯

I have changed my review because they have taken care of some of the issues that I spent a long time trying to get them to address. It is a shame that I had to go through all of that for management to become aware and take action. I would be ecstatic to see consistency and when that happens if it happens I will again change my review.

Swimming pool desktop employees totally disappointed me. All exchange shelf's lockers do not exist. They said that I should purchase the Lock. I purchased lock but lock did not work properly. I tried return they did not refund me. The question is not the 4 dollar. The disappointment is that I did not see any professional approach in the Center. Headquarters should rethink about administrative procedures and teach employees how they have to serve to clients

A family friendly place. Bright, lots of windows that let it natural light. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool and the family friendly locker rooms which were clean.

I can't speak for the gym itself, but the playground right behind it is amazing. It's fully fenced in and has very new equipment plus a nature play area. It has a play area for toddlers as well as for older kids. We love it and come back as often as we can.

Awesome community center with basketball court, indoor track, workout area, kids workout area, meeting rooms, indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, and even a library. Resident rates are fantastic. I just wish the hours were longer, but I've been a member for years and love it.

Pool is shallow, good for small children. The three lap lanes are only 25 meters, and the deepest portion of the pool is only 5 ft, so if you're going for a workout a YMCA membership is probably more for you. Steam room, sauna, and hot tub make it worthwhile for recreational use.

A great gym. Better than Bally Total Fitness, Club Fitness or the gym at Wash U. Has every imaginable weight machine, lots of free weights, a basketball court, a swimming pool, a steam room and a sauna.

Extraordinarily polite and professional staff and well maintained workout equipment and other facilities. 4 stars because the workout room bathrooms have reached a God awful state a few times I've been there. They would need a pretty heroic maintenance worker to clean up some of the messes I've seen.

Clean, great classes offered by fabulous instructors, nice staff. Swim hours reduced (staffing) only 4 lanes. Some still Covid paranoid which may appeal to some. Overall great facility!

Wonderful for classes and workouts on your own. Very kind and kid friendly. We love going to this place as a family, there's even an outdoor playground for the children.

Great facility. I wish it had indore soccer but that's a lot to ask! The track, basketball courts, fitness areas and pool are all really nice. My only complaint would be the hours. Overall the building and emmenities are great quality.

This gym is a gem! Super affordable and tons of amenities. Everything is well maintained and clean. Never seems to get too crowded. Im not sure if many people know about it, but there is also a fully fenced playground and nature area behind the building that is great for young kids.

This is a really beautiful and functional community owned gym. It has a full service weights, weight machines, aerobic machines. There are daily classes, a swimming pool, a children's pool area, lap swimming and exercise classes, wet and dry sauna, locker rooms, family changing rooms and a very friendly staff. Staff. Place is always spotlessly clean. There is a charge for non-residents either by the visit or a membership.

Love this place! To start the staff is friendly and knowledgeable on programs and memberships. Secondly it's always clean!! That's a huge plus for me, the weight room, locker rooms, basketball court and pool. If you live in Richmond Heights this is where you need to be a member at!

Phenomenal facilities. Large pool, extensive weight room, lots of cardio equipment. Locker rooms are clean and appealing. Staff does a great job of keeping equipment sanitary and is friendly and welcoming to boot. One of the best gyms I've ever used, and not particularly expensive, either!

It's a good value with many choices of workout facilities. Pool is not very good for lap swimming with an odd shape and odd corners but it works in a pinch.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I want to say it’s smaller? But might just be the ceiling being slightly lower. Most equipment are new, and the facility is clean and new of course. Bench equipment number went from 3 to 5. So that’s a great upgrade for me. I’m here on a Sunday afternoon, Not many people.
