If you are a patient at this facility ask for your medical records, review them and at each visit ask to see them again. You will have physicians who do not do your notes correctly if at all. You should also have your records checked by an outside physician and a lawyer. If you are trying to get comp and pen disability you should really have a lawyer or service organization request your records. You might find them very interesting reading. You might also find that your notes are not done at all for several weeks after your visit. And that your patient notes might be copied and pasted from another patients notes who aren't even the same gender as you. Perhaps you should ask for a copy of the open encounter report too. It will certainly tell you a tale.

Try to register for VA benefits and everyone I have talked to has been rude. Called office in Rockford IL and was told I was not eligible and sent to a number that just rang and no one answered. All that for serving this country

This was not my first visit to the facility. Very timely and professional. I made an appointment to see the Doctor, but it was the staff,before the Doc who were exceptional. Each individual I spoke to, although busy, took the time to help. I very much appreciated seeing "The VA Clinic". This is the type of personnel, the veterans using this facility can look forward to see. "Thank you" to the personnel of the VA Medical Center Rockford.

Last year I became very sick probably had pneumonia by the time I got to the clinic. The staff or nurse called me probably after 12 hours and said I could not walk into the clinic but I could go to Madison. Keep in mind my wife was also sick so we tried to walk in and wait at the Rockford Clinic. We got there and sat and sat and sat. They could see how sick I was. We finally were so sick we went home. We have never had a problem with Madison and appreciate the help we get but that was appalling. Why can't veterans walk in? How about our veterans on the street?

Literally the best VA I've ever been to! Everyone is so nice and respectful and the doctors actually LISTEN to you!! It's a great experience!

I normally love this place. But this is the second time where I show up according to my appointment sent to my house. And it's wrong I don't get paid for missing work to come here it's a waste of my time and money now I have to reschedule to miss more time off work so I don't lose my coverage

Worse VA ever I have been trying to schedule an initial Appointment for over 6 month and still no luck every time I get in contact with them they say someone will call me to schedule my initial Appointment and every time I call them to try to talk to someone all I get is to be transferred to every extension available in that building

I can not recommend staying away as much as possible. They do not care about their clients in the least. Went there with my cat that was vomiting. They were more concerned with getting my 600 dollars for blood work. That came back negative for everything. Than actually finding the reason. For the vomiting. Cat still pukes regualrly. No answers at all from them or help.but they sure did get my 600 for that blood work. The vet themselves was more concerned with leaving for the day. Than helping my cat. Do NOT GO HERE. Unless you want a hurried doctor and staff just wanting to take your money. Leaving you with no answers and a sick animal.

Staff is always friendly and aim to please,great mental health team,and Ken and Jan are great counselors,I am always thanked for my service,but the ones who need to be thanked this time around are the Drs,nurses, counselors,and staff,for taking care of us veterans

The VA has saved my life, more than once. I feel extremly comfortable here and get great care from social worker Kasheem Ward and MD Brianna Parra. They are very non judgemental to my wild beliefs. Highly recomend care here.

What good does it do to check in with the kiosk when the clinic doesn’t recognize it

COVID-19 is too dangerous to hold medical appointments on site, but not dangerous enough to cancel the endless medically unnecessary mandatory drug tests. Shows very clearly where the priorities of the institution are.
