This place is as cool as it gets. Aris, the bartender, is a true man of the world. He mixes delicious cocktails, loves your favorite band as much as you do, and will talk American football all night long. Wish I had come here my first night in Madrid instead of my last.

I spent half a year in Madrid and I stumbled upon this bar while pub crawling with a friend. This small cozy spot has become our favourite bar in the city. The atmosphere is fantastic, the music is tasteful, and the owner/bartender is very friendly and a true man of the world.

An "off the beaten track" kind of bar run by a lovely man who just wants to do things his way. The bar serves great cocktails and specialty spirits from the far corners of the world, a wall is covered with the word monkey in loads of languages and old films are screened on a projector. If you want an unconventional bar that has good times and a great crowd, check out Maimú.
