This was our favorite tapas place in Madrid! Highly highly recommend! The ambience is nice here and the food is amazing. I absolutely love tapas because it allows you to try a lot of dishes for an affordable price. We particularly loved the variety of fried seafood (which has fish, calamari and peppers). The peppers are especially delicious and well flavored. We ended up ordering this dish twice, so if you love seafood, I'd definitely recommend ordering this.

Oh my God everything was delicious. We had the Galician style octopus shrimp with calamari skewer. The server was phenomenal. If I’m ever back in Madrid, I will definitely try to come back here. It was definitely the best restaurant that we had during our trip to Spain. And the prices are unbelievably great

If I could go back in time I would just so I can visit Vinitus again! My first time in Madrid and the first restaurant I visit, absolutely fantastic. The place is very quite due to the acoustic panel installed in the main area, creating a great atmosphere. The food? On point. The wine ? A wild variety and a good selection. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Don’t think twice about coming here!

When in with my family of 5 with no reservation on a Friday night. Had to wait 35 minutes and it was totally worth it. We are big eaters and ordered a lot. Smoked salmon and tuna belly r on bread was fantastic. Mini burgers were very quality. The prawns skewers and seafood grill were out of this world. The ox tail melted right in our mouths. The chicken/ham croquettes were to die for and let’s not forget the beef tenderloin with foie, which again exhilarated our taste buds. The hot dogs and and chicken and cheese sandwiches were also unreal. The cuddle fish was cooked excellent as well. My only complaint was the seafood grill the second time we ordered it came out with a bit of a different taste than the first round but it wasn’t a big deal cause it still tasted good.

I can write an essay about this place. It is so good! Food is amazing, drinks are amazing, vibe is amazing, price is amazing, service is amazing. Open kitchen where you see chefs cooking and fresh ingredients. When they gave me the green tea towelette to clean my hands at the end of the meal, I wanted to marry this restaurant.

We went without booking a table for lunch so we had to wait a bit. The place was nice food was great! We liked every dish. Especially the dessert. I don't remember the name, but it was the first one on the dessert list. I would totally recommend. So far it was my favorite restaurant during my 5 days trip in Madrid.

One of the best in Madrid, on Gran Via street. The shrimp is good, but couldn’t say it for the octopus. Beef cheek is excellent and can be a different choice. The tapas are more than good. A must visit location for Madrid. There is also a good selection of wine

I just loved every part of the evening in this chic restaurant just at the beautiful gran via avenue in Madrid. Modern interpretation of traditional Spanish tapas and much more creative dishes. All of the dishes I have tried tasted very good. Beautiful presentation, yet not too over done - exactly how it should be. All of that and for an extremely fair price. The service was good, friendly and very quick. A bit less formality would make the whole experience even better. I enjoyed every part of this dinner and can recommend vinitus to every food fan out there.

This was the first meal we had in Madrid. We ordered a few “tapas” dishes which were all good. I Like them all but I wished I ordered some others because they all looked very good. Will come again soon.

I visited Madrid for 3 days and this one became my favorite restaurant. The combination of the price and taste was just right for me. It's not a cheap restaurant. But it's only not too pricy considering the quality of the food. I had various tapas, dessert, and a beer. The shrimp skewer was great. The zucchini soup was better than I thought. Beef something was excellent, my favorite. And the most hyped dessert on the menu was.. just okay.

Great tapas in the heart of Madrid. Good service, fast speed, and wide variety. Would definitely recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner. (Reservation could come in handy)

Nice atmosphere and very delicious tapas. The desserts are very good in taste and size for the price. The issue we had: half of the things we ordered were not available any more (and we went early in the afternoon, at 19:30). The reason they gave us: most of the special menu of the day was sold during lunch. Would have been helpful to know what was left to be ordered first hand.

This restaurant is very well-located on Gran Via and very easy to find. It serves a wide range of tapas and is very reasonably priced. The food was served very quickly and waiters were very attentive in checking we had everything we needed. On occasion, it felt quite rushed like they wanted us to eat and leave as quickly as possible, but this could be due to the fact that the restaurant was busy. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate in visiting again - lovely!

Came here for late dinner with my family. We were happy to be seated right away. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant looks beautiful and clean. The selection of tapas was very extensive. They also have a daily special menu and it had very interesting items on there. We ordered several tapas to try and nothing disappointed! Beef was excellent and the shrimp was delicious.

Food was definitely decent (except the egg plant which we were not a fan of), as expected of being one of the famous tapas around here. MUST get the french toast dessert, it will change your life.

OMG! Best food we had in Madrid and at very reasonable rates. I actually thought twice about writing this review because I don't want too many people to know about this place. The food, service and atmosphere were all outstanding. We went for lunch and likes everything we had. The steak with foie, cod skewer, patatas braves, and dessert were especially excellent. We will be back for sure!

Found from a Google search and I must thank the other positive reviewers that led me to this place. All the food we ordered were absolutely amazing. It was so good that we came back for lunch again the next day to try the other tapas and they did not disappoint! I really loved the avocado that I’m going to try and make at home.

What a fantastic time at Vinitus - Saturday tapas lunch. Started with a wonderful mushroom and things were consistently wonderful. Great staff, fantastic food - save room for the desserts

Delicious food, great atmosphere, very nice staff, very good prices. They gave us sugar instead of salt by accident but in a few minutes we have a new meal for free with a big apology. Recommend definitely!!!

We were lucky, no wait. The size of the queue by the time we left was long. It was just a light meal, (we had a big lunch) but I wish we were hungrier. The tapas were delicious and very reasonably priced. I was expecting to pay a lot more for such high quality fresh seafood in a very trendy venue in the heart of town. Highly recommended. We intend to return, even if there is a queue. Edit : I rarely visit a city for three days and visit the same restaurant twice. Well, this time I did, and it was great, again. Highly recommended!

We visit this place since we saw it has high recommendation among an app. Food here is good, especially the prawn, also we order the tapa with beef and goose liver, it turned out to be a little greasy. The sangria is good. And the place is very busy.

Fantastic place for some wine & tapas. Reasonable prices, great food, and great service. As Texans we were happy to see cactus artwork. Texan wines (Pedernales or Nobleman cellars) would complement that art well, but the Spanish wines were great as is!

Cute little restaurant with tables and counter seating. Good selection of tapas available. Wine and beer available. They have a regular menu and a daily special menu. The food is delicious, and I especially love their churros con chocolate.

Popular restaurant! Tapas! Most dishes were pretty good, a couple were a bit heavy on the seasoning, a bit on the pricey side. Felt a bit rushed when the restaurant got busy at lunch time.

A most excellent tapas meal this evening. Very tasty mushrooms, iberian ham, beef tenderloin, shrimp. Very fast service. Vary good value for the money.

I have been already 3 times in their restaurant in Barcelona and last week we found out that they are also in Madrid! It was a great surprise for us. After we dined here one night, we came 3 nights in a row! Amazing food probably the best tapas I have ever tried. The service was great and really friendly. I can only recommend it, we will come back!

Wife and I had a Brunch Meal here and has a few of their most popular dishes. Portion sizes a bit small and it was pricey but easily one of the best meals we had on our trip. Worth trying the coffee was excellent!

Hello, First of all i really advise you to reserve your place in advance cause it's very demanded especially at night. It was such a nice experience ! The place is very class. There is a nice choice of tapas that are very tasty. They made me fall in love with their patatas bravas and one of the best sangria you will ever have ! Very nice experience !

What a great place for tapas. Reasonably priced considering its on gran Via and the grilled prawns stole the show. Great flavour and kind staff who spoke English to assist us tourists. I recommend as a good spot to eat and not a tourist location.

I enjoyed my small brunch here, 2 tapa skewers and a typical bocadillo and coffee breakfast. Flavor is good, service was great and polite. Recommend

Excellent tapas. Mostly Spanish clientele, service is very good and the staff are friendly. The wine selection is extensive and for 14 Euro you get good quality. You won’t go wrong here, we visited twice and both were excellent dining experiences.

For me the best tapas restaurant in Madrid! We went there twice and both times the service was good and fast and the food was delicious! Perfect size tapas for 6-12€ from sea food to meat and salads - my favorite were the fried sea food mix, beef, gambas skewer, the obergine with parmesan.

  • 5/5 Zyta X. 1 year ago on Google
Good food. Reasonable prices. Fast service. They have arroz con bogavante at €9+ which I sadly missed to see on the menu. If I had known the flauta de calamares came with pan tostado (toasted white bread) I wouldn't have ordered it as I prefer wholewheat bread, but anyway, it was delicious. One of the best calamares in Spain! All in all, it's one of my favorite restaurants in Madrid. Definitely coming back.

Fantastic experience! One of best meals in Madrid. The 'Guacamole' (actually a grilled avocado) was so good, we ordered a second one. The venue and the service were great too.

Was blown away with all the food we had here which was quite a bit 😃. We ordered 13 hot peppers, white sausage, Bravos potatoes, skwered prawns, chicken with cured ham croquettes and many more... Everything was fantastic! Do check this place out.

🍽Food: 3/5 🤵🏽‍♂️Service: 4/5 🪑Ambiance: 3/5 📝Notes: The food was okay, I liked some of the dishes but it lacks elegance and quality. I liked the presentation of the sliders and the shrimp tapas. I don’t think this restaurant is for me, but it doesn’t mean that its bad. I just think you have to be in a very comfortable mood to dine here.

Great Tapas place with delicious dishes. Everything we had was superb and fresh. We had dinner and it was so good we came back for lunch the next day. My favorites were the patatas bravas (spicy and yummy) and the shrimp calamari skewer. But honestly everything we had was delicious. Dessert was to die for. Fair prices. Highly recommended!

Super Food. Really nice Tapas. Each Tapas I tried - was really outstanding. And the staff is super friendly. Thanks to Zohar - incredible good service. When i came in second day she could even remember the red wine of day 1!

Easy to find location and everything was just delicious! Highly recommend the mini burger and the fried artichokes. All tables were full when we arrived, but we had a seat at the bar while waiting and we're quickly shown to a seat. Service was attentive and food came quickly. Highly recommended!

Be ready for a treat! Super nice food with a 2023 tapas style 😋! While they don’t take reservations it will be worth the wait! Service is super quick but also very friendly! Great experience on the Gran Via 😉

Long queue but believe me, its worth the wait. Order any of their best sellers and you'll know what I mean. We especially love the cod fish. The sauce, the fish tasted new to us. We loved this restaurant so much that we went again but this time in Barcelona. Lots of people but understandable as they are a must placr to try when you have the chance. Staff were very friendly and try their best to explain. My wife made the choice and so glad we were able to get a table.

We came for dinner at 9:30pm and there was a small queue but we got a table for two within 5 minutes. The food was amazing, probably one of the best Tapas I’ve ever had and the price was perfect. Service was very good and the restaurant itself is very nice. Couldn’t ask for a better dinner after landing in Madrid.
