Not worth the money €28 for two people which only takes 15 minutes to see everything at a slow pace . Wax figures weren't very good all but for four which look really striking, however, most were nothing close to resembling the celebrities they ment to be. €6 is a fair price and not a euro more should be changed. If I didn't feel that we got ripped off and were charged appropriately for what we saw then I could have given 4 stars. Staff were nice but the train of terror never saw it, was waiting for 10mins as instructed but it didn't seem like it was happening.

The museum is somewhat small and the first 2 rooms smelled like baby poop. A little expensive for what it offers, but the small train ride was cute.

I really liked this place because it is one of its kind in Madrid. It may be expensive 21 euro per aduly which is why I would suggest them to make a family ticket or just lower the price a bit. It has a great location. There were so many figures but mostly from Spain's history which might not be exciting for people who don't have a historical interest. There are however numerous international characters like Tom cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Beyonce and many many more. The simulator was not so good I've been into better. There was also a movie about the history of Spain in 3D but unfortunately it was only in Spanish and no subtitles or anything in English which was hard for me to follow. But overall, I strongly recommend this place and it is worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) When I was in Madrid, while I was walking I saw the museum from the street and decided to enter. The surprise was pleasant, the figures were very real and life-size, I thought that at any moment they would come to life and move giving me a scare.

Lots of statues depicting historical scenes. But some are poorly made. The staff is not really welcoming.

The exhibition is a bit strangely arranged, not in a single unit but have to exit and enter again at another part of the same courtyard. Some figures are not the best, seen more life like wax in Vienna or Dublin. Also, in some rooms the figures are placed so close to each other and behind, it feels more like a warehouse storage place than a museum. Included in ticket: simulator, horror train that is not scary at all and the multivision screen that is a 30 min docu film sadly only in Spanish.

A ridiculous place which made me laugh way more than I expected. It has quality wax figures but sometimes they're so cheesy I can't help but laugh. Love it

It should mention in your website that you have a statue of Alaska in the museum. Yes, international pop stars are nice, but you should definitely advertise national stars too. I was going to skip going to the museum altogether, but since we were passing by, we thought why not? Freaked out when I saw Alaska! The “Tren de Terror”, however, left a lot to be desired…

The Museo de Cera in Madrid offers a unique and immersive experience that combines artistry, history, and entertainment. As I stepped into its halls, I was immediately struck by the lifelike wax figures that populate every corner, bringing historical and contemporary personalities to life. The attention to detail in each wax figure is truly remarkable. From world leaders to celebrities, historical figures to fictional characters, each sculpture captures the essence and likeness of its subject with astonishing accuracy. It's almost as if these figures are ready to spring to life at any moment. Walking through the museum felt like a journey through time and space. Historical scenes, cultural icons, and movie characters are all represented, creating a diverse tapestry of human achievement and creativity. One of the museum's highlights is the Chamber of Horrors, where visitors can delve into the darker side of history. This section, with its eerie lighting and meticulously crafted scenes, adds an element of thrill and suspense to the overall experience. The Museo de Cera is not just a museum; it's a celebration of craftsmanship and storytelling. It's an ideal destination for individuals of all ages, offering an engaging blend of education and entertainment. Whether you're a history buff, a movie enthusiast, or simply curious about the world around you, this museum provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the most iconic figures in history and pop culture.

A bit expensive I belive, but definitely a fun thing to do. I have been and I will choose madame toussauds over this but Still a good activity, 1 ticket get you 3 rides. Ride 1 : history XV / XVIII century Ride 2 : history XV / to present Ride 3 : horror theme and movies + a train ride around some more science fiction (don't expect this one to be scary or something "universal studios like" )

Very good. A huge colection of wax statues from over the world and 2 additional activities for one price. You can receive 2€ discount if you bought city tour bus. Which is also recommended for 1st visit.

Please read this review before you book your tour. You buy the ticket online or at the box office and you enter the place, it all looks normal and typical, you know, a wax museum, celebrities from music, cinema, literature, politicians, you name it, it is all fun and cozy. The museum's last tour is at 15:30, which is not weird unless you know there is something else that starts happening at 7. We registered in the Infection escape the room, which happens a couple of hours after the last customer leaves. I won't spoil it for you but they basically change a few things in the museum and turn the place into a zombie land where you have to find a way to escape. They get military people who are so into character and they get people to play zombies, who are also awesome. Most of the elements in the museum become part of the game, I never expected to have an escape the room with The Beatles being involved for instance, or Adele. The game is so much fun, it is way way more fun than the actual museum, but visiting the museum first and a few hours later playing the game was even more fun because you see the museum from two difference lenses. I can't recommend this enough, both the museum tour and the infection zombie escape the room, absolute joy and one of the most fun activities I did in Barcelona.

Fun enough way to kill an hour. The wax figures are entertaining, but the train-ride and theater parts are a waste of time (Although maybe small kids would love it).

I thought the museum was a little overpriced for what they offer,we finished the tour in 45mins,this was 4 rooms of wax models and u lnfortunetly the spooky train ride was out of service. We enjoyed looking at the models, the first 2 rooms and dedicated to Spanish royalty and other names that we didn't know.Still it was Interesting and something lighthearted to do it of the summer heat!

I enjoyed the museum so much. It is very organized and entertaining, and it has a lot of interesting scenes. I just wish that there are brief information about each figure and scene, and it would be great if there is English translation. Otherwise, really great experience.

All the signs are in Spanish and there aren't any English signs so it was a little disappointing. The price was risanable and you don't really need to order the tickets online. there was no line at the cashier. The figures were not really accurate but the place is nice. There was a little rollocoster that was supposed to be scary but only for three years old kids . There was a vending machines for drinks but they didn't cool the drinks inside. If you are local tourist you can enjoy the place. For foreigners, it a nice few hours fat from city center and hursh.

  • 4/5 Zanna V. 1 year ago on Google
I wasn't as excited as would, probably, the Spanish people be. The most part of excibitions is connected with the history of Spain, what I'm not strong in at all. But the figures are made with the great accuracy and many of them are looking as real persons and the episodes are shown in the interesting way.

The museum covers a wide range of history and different areas making it very interesting and fun to people of all ages and interests.

  • 3/5 Adriana P. 1 year ago on Google
I was a bit underwhelmed by this museum. The wax figures were not impressive, compared to similar museums and some of the personalities looked nothing like their actual selves. I appreciated the portion about Spanish history and the overall historic context of some of the pieces but I have definitely seen better. The museum has a decent collection and it is an enjoyable activity, but not impressive by any means. Just average.

Try to get a discount or groupon as full price is not worthy, enjoyable and good variety of famous people, the most recent are much better quality for sure, the bullfighting scene a bit grotesque but realistic I guess, overall a nice experience to spend an hour or so. Kids like it, scary figures might be too much for little ones but you can choose not to go in. Recommended.

(Translated by Google) Deplorable service. The waiters no longer know what we ordered, not counting the wait time, after telling us that they were overwhelmed. I would have liked to have believed it if, while going to wash my hands, I hadn't seen them laughing for some, and others, their phones in hand, sending messages. I tell myself that if in covid19 crisis with so few clients it was this, how would it normally happen. I absolutely recommend.

Nice place to be during a pair of hours. PROS: it has been updated with new ideas such as 3D film. CONS: Some figures are out of date and I'm sure technicials can improve them such as Star Wars, Alien characters that are from 80's. Price too high (2 adults and 2 children, 70€).
