Can’t give this place anything less than 5. The service here was great with friendly smiles and assistance. The food was ridiculously good. Probably one of the best meals I had in Madrid so far. Each dish carried its own weight. What stood out the most was the impressive Garlic Prawns and the Black Seafood Paella. They were my personal favourites because of the well rounded taste and the Paella wasn’t too burnt. Sauce was perfect as well. Best part was that the meal wasn’t that pricey. Some shops I went were way more expensive.

If you find a place here, it is a good experience. Food is good, beer is good; prices are a bit higher but still reasonable. A bit too many tables, but there is a lot of people. Every food I took was well done and good taste.

Definitely a touristy place with average food, if you are looking for good food, avoid it. They forgot parts from our order, some of the food was cold and uncooked and the paella was only for one person when we ordered for 3. Look for any other place that is not on the big boulevards, they are for sure better.

The first time I got there was a hilarious experience. The service was excellent. The food was really good and I just wanted to come back. That's what I did. But during the weekend a group of young boys played their own music, they were extremely annoying. Plus the service was pretty stressed and food was just ok. That's why it's only 4 out of 5 stars

came in for some tapas and it was all.so yummy! quick and friendly service. very reasonably priced. for 5-6 plates, drinks and sangria we paid around 60€

We stopped in for drinks and snacks after walking around the area. We ordered a pitcher of the Sangria and fried calamari. The Sangria was nice and cold and full of flavor. The calamari was cooked perfectly, fried to a nice crisp taste. We were able to get a great seat on the outdoor patio with good service.

The paella was tasty, the fried squid and shrimps were acceptable, not the best though. The seating area was spacious with some table arrangements outside which were very nice to enjoy the cool evening breeze. The customer service was really good though!

We only stayed in Madrid for 2 and half days but we came to Tapa Tapa twice because if how good it was. Small portion and reasonable price means we were able to have a taste of different type of food in one seating. All of them were quite good and unique, but our favorite would be the Galician octopus. I do wish they have more non-alcohonic drinks other than generic juices and sodas.

Fast turnover rate. I guess you don’t have to wait long for a table. The staff here are efficient and friendly. Good for quick food and go.

The food is top notch, it's a great place to have a drink and a couple of snacks or tapas. The price is a bit steep but it's totally worth it, every dish is so flavorful and well done you won't regret it.

Stopped here for a bite and glass of wine. Service from Naira was great. The restaurant was busy though, and the only negative was my table in the middle of the traffic pattern. People were constantly squeezing past me on both sides. Other than that, the experience was amazing!

We had some tapas here on a Saturday evening. After waiting about 10 minutes, we had a table free to have some tapas and cocktails. Prices are correct regarding the quantities. Quality of dishes is also good to me. We were served fast even though the bar was full on this busy evening (only 4/5 for the atmosphere because it’s very noisy when full) . I’d recommend it.

What a great place to try tapas 😍 They have incredible shrimps, Camembert, langoustines and paella! Came there 3 times and every time we were super impressed!

The place is quite popular. Maybe you need to wait some time to get in, but is not more than 10min. The receptionist was very friendly. We were a group of 5, ordered 10 different “tapas”, and was more than enough. The food was delicious, would visit again!

Great little place right in the heart of Madrid. Stopped in for a quick bite and drink. Everything was great but was disappointed to hear they were all out of calamari. We had the croquettes and the tomato and pan. Otherwise would have been 5/5. Be aware if sitting outside the street can be very busy with people walking by.

First meal after I reached Madrid and I will totally recommend it. Very good tapas with reasonable price. Toast with ham is simply yummy! Grilled shrimps are fresh and tasty with refreshing dipping sauce. Steak is well made as well. Will definitely recommend.

The atmosphere is good with the full lunch crowd. However the staff were able to take the pressure and still super friendly. Nice food and reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend. The waitress Esthefany was very helpful. I told her I can’t take pork and ham and she made recommendation and ask the chef to change certain things for those with ham that I like. A very helpful one.

Great food. I personally would have the tataki tuna dish again. The pan con tomate had the right amount of crunch to it. The calamares had a lemony taste to it along with the crunch. And the eggs with prawns was great was as well. But there was too much oil in the dish. to As for the drinks, the no alcohol mojito wasn't good. For such a high price, my expectations were not met. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Great spot in central madrid

Food is good at best. Shrimps were def not fresh, calamari was gummy. Meat was tasty and sepia was correct. Not to expensive but crowded and touristy. Food average. Not impressed! There are way better places for lunch in Madrid. Not worth a visit. Staff on the other hand was nice and friendly. And spoke good English.

Très décevant, portions trop petites pour le prix, service très long et désagréable, j’ai attendu la fin du repas pour avoir mon verre d’eau (et ils limitent 2 verres d’eau par table c’est honteux) ; le pain en accompagnement n’est pas bon et payant. La tortilla est la pire que je n’ai jamais goûté, évitez !! Tout est servi en décalé. On a attendu 30 minutes pour régler l’addition. A éviter, il y a de bien meilleurs restaurants à tapas. *seul le serveur était très accueillant

Our servers Candela and Esperanza were awesome! They were extremely friendly and enhanced the dining experience. The food itself was great and affordable for the area which tends to be a bit on the more expensive side. I recommend checking them out if you're in the Gran Via area

What a delicious hidden joint this place is. My husband and I stumbled across this place as we were walking around the shops. This place did not disappoint. As soon as we sat down we wanted to order EVERYTHING. Our waitress Alejandra gave us great recommendations and was attentive to our needs. We ordered about 3 different stuff after we had finished our food because we wanted MORE. This is will be a place that we will be recommending to our friends. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

I was just walking around the city one night, when I happened to come across this very warm, inviting location. Their kitchen was open late that night, however the food still tasted as fresh as the morning. Alex and Andrés were incredible hosts / waiters, as they were able to seat me down immediately and were very attentive throughout my experience. Apart from the glorious service, the food was absolutely divine! You’ll miss out if you don’t try their sinfully delectable crema catalana to end your delicious meal. I greatly look forward to coming back on my next visit to Madrid 😁

This is a nice eatery in Gran Via. For me it was somewhere to stop and eat some tapas as we went out for the evening. We were served by Alejandra who was attentive to serving us and was accommodating as we spoke English. The venue was busy- it is just off of busy Gran Via not far from McDonalds on the corner. We were served fairly quickly. The food came out quickly, and was tasty. The menu had some range, not loads that I loved on the menu but the people I dined with really enjoyed their food. We were in search of a cozy tapas place and stumbled upon Tapa Tapa. We didn't have a reservation but were able to walk in. I personally enjoyed the small fried anchovy, but the other dishes didn't impress us as much when compared to other places we've tried. The convenient location in Gran Vía made it easily accessible for us, though.

The restaurant is located in the middle of a really crowded street in centre of Madrid. We went there after a few hours visiting El Retiro park. The menu is informative with pictures of the food. The tapas was overall good, but nothing to make you “Wow”, the croquettes are the best dish, according to me and my mom’s taste. The beef with fries are good, with the fries being cooked nicely while the beef is not really tender.
