Joined two different walking tours in Paris and Montmartre. Both amazingly organised. The guides are informed and passionate about their job and that makes tours even more fun. It is also exceptionally easy to get tickets from Civitatis for different attractions and places.

We did a Vatican museum and Sistine chapel guided tour by Civitas. We had a pleasure to be guided by Barbara. A wery knowledgeable certified Vatican tour guide. She explained all the details but not too much so that the 3 hour tour wouldn't get too tiring. It was very interesting to listen to all the history and behind the scenes stories so the time went by very quickly. At the end of the tour we got some restaurants recommendations and where to find best gelato in Rome. Highly recommend!

We loved the free tour of the center of Madrid thanks to our guide Víctor. My family and I usually take free tours and we know how to recognize a good guide. If you travel to Madrid, it is well worth it and if you are lucky enough to get Víctor, it will be very enjoyable.

Yesterday we arrived in Stockholm and we had an excursion with Bea through Södermalm and we loved how she explained everything to us: the transformation of the neighborhood, the life of the Swedes, the viewpoints... You can tell that she controls the topic. Today we were in the old town with Arturo and it was wonderful. I love history and the origin of words, it has been an incredible afternoon sharing knowledge and describing what happened in this area. It is clear that Arturo controls the history of the country, but also of the rest of the Nordic countries. A pleasure. I would definitely repeat with them 🤩

This December long weekend we have done two tours of Barcelona and both were fantastic. The first a tour about Barcelona and Gaudí and the second a tour about modernist Barcelona. Each one more interesting. Every guide on every tour fantastic. They have been two great experiences. Hello. My previous experience had been very good and that is why, faced with the possibility of spending a day in Madrid, I took it as my first option. I had an activity reserved in Madrid at 5:00 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. it started to rain a lot and we found it difficult to access the parking reserved for Easter reasons. We managed to be at 5:10 p.m. near the meeting place and I called the contact number to see how we could find them and the answer was that I will forget. You cannot join a tour once it has started.... Everything is ok as previously reported. My only advice is that if there is any possibility of a slight setback, look for another option.

Excellent tour of Granada’s center! We took the free tour to Granada. Even when it was off season (January), almost 20 people showed up for the free tour! Full of explanations and information you will never get otherwise. Our guide (David) was quite knowledgeable and entertaining. A must if you visit Granada and want to know about its history and architecture. Highly recommended! If you don't like it, it won't cost you anything.

Used their service to book a tour of Cantabrian caves and villages, it was amazing - the tour guide, Rafa, knew deeply about the area and had troves of stories, he’s also warm and funny.

Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill Tour. Letizia was an exceptional guide !!! (English tour) 6 stars out of 5 ! All the credits for this tour go to this lady ! So, the Forum and the Palatine Hill were a delight ! A lot of interesting information, combining art, architecture and history in a holistic view. Also, the most interesting information about Colosseum came from Letizia, before entering the amphitheater. Unfortunately, in the Colosseum we were handed over to a different guide (against Letizia's will, who was somehow very surprised)... This guide was different, maybe acceptable.... all ended somehow in ruin; Letizia, thank you !!!

Booked a walking tour of Cadiz. We had a reminder email the day before and we turned up with 15 minutes to spare as stated. It was cancelled because we were the only ones on it but nobody had thought to tell us. Don't rely on this company. Because we thought we were booked, we hadn't booked an alternative. We feel let down.

Loved the free tour. Our guide Alvaro was quirky and had great information related to the intrastory of how Villa del Madrid came to be. Although he tended to focus a little too much on a certain painter at the end. You can choose to tip the tourist if you wish.

We used this platform to book a tour for our Zagreb vacation. We had also booked a tour in Ljubljana but the supplier canceled the activity the day before, the refund was quick and total. Recommended.

DO NOT USE Edited this review as the good credit goes to the tour operator Park Viaggi Srl and not Civitatias who are just the middle man as to speak. I won’t delete this review as I would lose the pictures. I read a few bad reviews about Civitatis prior and during my holiday but saw it as a one off. They do arrange tours but with local tour operators so please do not be mistaken to think of there employees will be taking you about in a city. Civitatis customer services are responsive but principals and values are wrong. I lost quite a lot of money this summer and regret using them for a tour. As others have said they do not answer their telephone on the first or second attempt. If you are running late you can contact the tour operator or transfer person directly even if you have an exclusive and private tour. Tip for company, respond to text messages. Please note I booked five events with Civitatis and the one bad one was terrible, the other four were excellent. Civitatis do not deserve the praise as they are just the middle person connecting the person giving the experience and you the customer. Gondola Ride 27/07/22 Easy to find the meeting point. Organisers were quick and efficient to sign us in. The organisation to get customers on board could have been a tiny bit better but it was alright. The ride was great and enjoyable. Would recommend.the wife really liked it and was sad that the 30 - 45 minutes time went so quickly.

Today's Walking tour of Lisbon with Eduardo was excellent. He's perfect at his job and had us entertained the whole 2.5hours. It was amazing to learn so many interesting things that are skipped in every guide. Plus his food/drinks places recommendations are stellar. Def would do that again

Martin with Glasgow tour did a great job. He is very nice and funny made us laugh and lots of amazing history we learned about Glasgow and random facts about Scotland in general. If your a history buff you’ll enjoy it. Also we had our 8 month old in the stroller and she slept the entire time cus it was her nap time and walking around in the stroller was good and worked out definitely worth it and he gave us spots for food, beer, Hagis etc

SCAMMERS!!! I booked two tours, Toledo on a Saturday and Avila/Segovia the following day. I went on the Toledo tour and it was a waste of my time!!! 95% of the time the guide spoke in Spanish and then brushed over whatever she said in English. When I booked they told me the tour would be 50/50. At the end of my tour I went back to Civitatis and explained the situation. I asked them for a refund for the next tour or a credit, they refused as I had missed the deadline (understandable but an exception should have been made given the situation). I also asked them for a replacement, something else I could do instead of that. They refused my request, they would not even exchange the tour for something else. This company is a scam! They are money hungry and don't care about their customers. I strongly suggest staying as far away from them as possible!!
