Experienced their Breakfast and Dinner Buffet. I come from Singapore and I am very impress with their customer service and the food they offer. Their buffets has both local and western options. Both are amazing and I definitely recommend peoole to try it out

The ambience was pleasant and a good variety of veg and non veg options. The starters were particularly focussed on fresh veggies and i liked the Raw mago salad and the Bacon starter. The bread collection was fresh and a dab of Milky Mist Butter was a treat for the tastebuds. The non veg options had selected options of chicken and mutton. The dessert options were less yet worth trying. Overall, a nice place to dine and relax with friends & family

Review after my visit to the restaurant on 26th December 2020 It was my anniversary yesterday and my wife wanted to go to Afghan Grill as she has never been there. Unfortunately, when I called them up for reservation, they informed us that the reservations are full since they had limited capacity owing to COVID regulations. We then decided to go to Vivanta and I called them up for reservation. It took my multiple calls to get connected to them and finally I was able to get a table reserved. At around 8 45 we arrived at the hotel and I went ahead to park my car. No temperature testing was done for me. We went to the restaurant and to our horror the restaurant was packed. Luckily, we were directed to our table pretty casually. We were planning to have an Ala carte meal but we were informed that it might take some time so we decided to go ahead with the buffet. Though there were a lot of variety promised, a quarter of those vessels were empty and were never refilled by the time we left the place. The restaurant seemed understaffed and hence the reason for delays in the same. When pointed out about the non availablilty of dishes, the staff was pretty casual about it and seemed least bothered. Ordered 1 Butter Naan from the live counter (Never arrived). Highly disappointing service. Highly u satisfied meal. A tip to the restaurants out there. Do not overbook your restaurants if you are understaffed. It makes your staff pretty annoyed and also leaves an unpleasant experience to the customers.

Went on with lots of expectation but was a meh. Pick alacarte menu and some items were good and some meh.. Food ordered: 1. Tenderloin steak was good tad overcooked though ordered a medium 2. Fish and chips - meh, bland 3. Norwegian Salmon - no flavour just cooked fish with mashed potatoes 4. Sandwich wasn't bad. Takes 30-45 mins from ordering for food to reach table. Avoid if you're in a rush. Friendly staff.

We had a pleasant and good experience at this restaurant. We utilised the gold option as well. Ordered nasi goreng, Thai green curry rice with chicken and pizza verde. The service is wonderful. The guys do a very fine job. The whole attitude and manner reflect vivanta's hard earned repute. Mr. Rajadurai was very helpful and kind. The boys who served our dishes were diligently careful and precise. They took abundant care to not spill anything and also serve everything on the bowl without any wastage. Regarding the food we liked it. Though the pizza verde was slightly unsatisfactory the other two exceeded our expectations. There was hardly any veggies in the pizza. It was a neatly made thin crust pizza but the veggies were grossly insufficient. Thai green curry was splendid and nasi goreng stayed true to its taste. The waiting was slightly longer than usual, probably attributable to the crowd on Saturday night. We had a good time and would love to go again :)

The breakfast spread is so.ething to die for. The south indian is as good as the western. The north indian stuffed parathas and theplas are equally good. French toast and omlettes are also delicious.

A little bit disappointed to be honest. It's not what it used to be a few years ago. The buffet lunch options are very less. It used to be great. Now - less staff, not as good service and there were hardly any customers for a Saturday afternoon. Can see why. Was not asked if everything was OK, if we would like tea or coffee, any extras etc, used plates were not removed quickly. Pavillion in The Residency is cheaper and has more than double the food options. Perhaps breakfast or dinner buffet is different but I won't be spending money on their lunch again.

Hosted dinner for my younger daughter and son-in-law on the occasion of their wedding anniversary at Latitude. It was one of the best celebrations in my life thanks to the service of the dedicated staff working here, especially Miss Chanda who gave us very special attention. Wonderful ambience, the food was delicious and there was an incredible array of items for the buffet. If I have to choose, I will surely arrange all my future celebrations at Latitude!

The food was tasty but there seems to be a little miscommunication between the wait staff and the kitchen. One of the mains I'm that we ordered did not come to the table. The steak that was ordered medium rare came medium..little things like that. I probably will give them another chance at some point but it did not feel like a special dining experience

The Tiger prawns with butter based sauce was ultimate. Loved the fish and chips. The portion sizes were good. The combined sofa seats were slightly uncomfortable though for someone bulky like me.

Very Disappointed! Team dinner on yesterday night. Eaten vegetarian items. Butter Naan and Kerala parotta is good with paneer butter masala. We have tried dosa but disliked it. Other dishes are ok. Not worth for the cost. Very less quantity of menus. Too expensive. For fresh juice they are charging 400 rupees but taste is like water. But the service boy very good.

Restaurant was crowded and this being a small place, didn't give a comfort feel. Couldn't enjoy the ambience as well. Being a vegetarian, food was delicious.

We had our dinner buffet at Lattitude last night and the Quality of the food was very bad. It felt like we were served stale food. Chicken was over cooked (tandoori, grilled) Fish was bland and had no taste Salad wasn’t fresh Chili paneer wasn’t good Briyani and mutton gravy was OK Curd rice was salty (IMO this is an easy dish but even that wasn’t good). We couldn’t eat anything and we felt bad to waste food. I am a big fan of Taj and prefer to stay/dine at Taj during my travel. We visit Taj Vivanta whenever we come to India and it was very disappointing this time. We stayed at Taj (Dubai) before reaching Coimbatore and honestly the food and service was amazing there. I wish I could give a zero star but I couldn’t. I don’t think I will go here during my next India trip.

One can go for buffet rather than ordering and eating. Ordered: 6 items. Only 3 was okay! Time: Dinner Price: 1600k per person -Cooking time of any dish is more than 30+ mins -Not hygienic food. Hair was seen in our squid. They replaced but it was overcooked at that time! -Ambience was good -Potato mash was too salty. They replaced it, yet again it was salty! -I went in two wheeler for a change with my wife. Security questioning about us was not pleasing at all! Please take care of these Taj!

Ordered a cake for my moms bday through the QMin app and these people say they haven’t received the order due to network issues. Even if this error was acceptable … the person to whom I called to confirm the order didn’t even get my Order ID and said in a lazy attitude way that cake will be delivered promptly. Horrible customer care here. They are called latitude for their lazy attitude I presume (L- attitude). This review is for the Bangalore Vivanta not the Coimbatore branch

1st problem : saw a hair in dish (which was replaced by the way) 2nd problem : all dishes were salty 3rd problem : each dish took 45 for preparing(for the quality of the dish provided it is very long , if the food was good ihave no problem waiting for 45 mins , but the thought of replacing a food and again waiting for another 45 mins did not allow me to order again) Overall : very very bad for ordering food out of the menu

Best suited for northies, if you prefer pure south indian spice definitely not recommended. Ambience is obviously rich and elegant, worth a try.

*Why Ambani & Adani are richest ? Why not Tata.... As shared by an *Army Officer "It’s always not about Business” I was on Temporary duty to attend Republic Day parade in Delhi. I had to stay for two nights in Delhi. So, I stayed in hotel TAJ I had specifically chosen the hotel because of its location. In the evening, I called the reception and requested them to get my dress ironed. After a while, the room service boy came to pick my dress. I handed over him my uniform for ironing. He was shocked to see my uniform and politely asked Sir, you are in Army. I replied yes, he immediately took out his mobile, and took selfie with me and said Sir, I am seeing an Army officer for the first time. I have seen them in movies only. He instantly stamped his feet and saluted. He said Jai Hind Sir and left. After awhile, somebody knocked the door. I opened the door and to my amaze two beautiful girls were standing with their cell phones in hand. One of them said Sir, we request for one selfie. I didn’t know how to react. I smiled like a fool. I gave them chocolates from the mini bar, as if they were kids. But you know, what nervousness can do to you. It stops the logical flow of thoughts. At around 2100 Hrs, I Got a call from the reception, asking me if, I can come down for the dinner as it can’t be served in room, in an extremely polite manner. I went down to have dinner , then I noticed the real beauty of that place, amazingly awesome interior. Landing from the jungles of Kashmir, the ambience was too shinny for me. The moment I entered the main arena, to my surprise the entire staff was standing there. The staff approached me with manager leading the contingent. The manager said- Welcome to our hotel Sir, It’s our pleasure to have you in our hotel, handing me the beautiful bouquet. The manager himself had dinner with me. Next Day. To my surprise, I was provided with a BMW car by the hotel for my move to “Rashtrapati Bhawan”. Frankly speaking, we are not used to such type of VIP treatment. We fauzis are more comfortable in our Gypsy. Day of Check Out. I went to the reception, handed over the card. Receptionist: Thank you for your stay Sir. How was your stay? Me: Stay was very comfortable. My Bill please. Receptionist: Your stay has been sponsored by our hotel. You protect our Nation. So this is our small token of gratitude for you. We respect your patronage. *It was not about the saving money which made me feel good, but it was about the respect they have shown towards the “Olive Green”* I was deeply touched by this gratitude, What a great nation we live in. After that incident, I wrote to the CEO of TAJ group of hotels. Narrating the incident and appreciating the gesture shown by the Manager of TAJ Delhi. To my surprise, I got a return mail from the CEO stating that TAJ group of hotels have decided to give discount to Army officers for their stay in TAJ hotels across the country. Wow, what a way to pay the tribute and respect to the soldiers. *TATA* *has the best work ethics environment.* That's why they are not richest unlike other corporates..... So in moral if you have money without ethics you are a curse to the society...
