purchased
a
prestige
OMEGA
DELUXE
GRANITE
non-stick
cookware
from
Kamala
stores
(Arul
jothi
corporation),
100
feet
road,
Coimbatore
-641012
on
18-nov-2018.
Within
3
months
of
usage
the
layer
on
the
backside
was
damaged
(only
one
side
of
it
seems
like
teared
of).
Since
the
product
was
under
warranty
we
visited
the
store
to
enquire
on
the
same.
The
store
manager
was
too
rude
and
we
were
told
that
warranty
cannot
be
claimed
as
it
might
be
due
to
improper
usage
even
without
inspecting
the
product
the
moment
he
heard
the
word
warranty.
How
on
Earth
can
they
make
a
decision
on
warranty
without
consulting
with
prestige
personnel.
The
product
was
used
by
a
lady
who
have
used
other
non
stick
products
for
more
than
a
decade.
And
who
is
cooking
for
last
4
decades.
How
can
a
product
be
not
used
properly???
What
defines
the
right
usage????
After
a
long
argument
they
finally
said
prestige
personnel
will
be
at
their
store
the
next
day
and
they
will
inform
us
on
mobile
the
status.
This
happened
on
23-Mar-2019.
Till
date
we
didn't
receive
any
update
from
the
store.
When
I
called
them
a
week
later
I
get
a
reply
that
they
have
booked
online
for
presitige
personnel
to
visit
them
and
see
the
product
on
23rd
of
March.
And
they
don't
know
when
prestige
personnel
will
visit.
If
they
have
intimated
prestige
don't
they
get
a
communication
on
proposed
date
for
visit
or
there
are
no
SLA
followed
by
prestige???
Why
is
claiming
a
warranty
so
painful?
The
person
who
spoke
on
phone
said
that
they
can't
give
any
dates
or
times
that
when
I
can
get
a
reply
from
either
the
store
or
prestige.
I
wrote
a
mail
to
Prestige
customer
care
explaining
the
whole
story
(along
with
bills
and
warranty
card)
and
got
a
response
that
they
will
provide
the
nearest
service
center
details.
After
I
replied
asking
for
action
against
the
negligence
I
received
a
call
within
minutes
from
a
person
stating
himself
as
from
Prestige
and
said
that
warranty
cannot
be
claimed
as
the
damage
was
due
to
dry
Heating?
I
asked
them
what
is
dry
heating
and
can
anyone
make
dosa
without
heating
the
Tawa?
Post
that
I
replied
to
the
mail
chain
stating
about
the
call
I
received
and
asked
them
what
is
dry
heating
and
whether
is
is
explain
in
intended
use
of
the
product.
This
mail
was
forwarded
to
two
more
mail
id's
within
prestige
and
no
response
post
that.
Companies
advertise
a
lot
on
quality,
warranty
etc.,
but
finally
fools
the
customer.
For
a
product
I
have
paid
Rs.1200
and
so
much
of
disappointment
I
have
to
carry
with
me.
I
will
never
ever
opt
to
go
back
to
this
store
again.
The
warranty
claim
failed
absolutely
because
of
the
attitude
of
the
staff.
So
lethargic
and
rude.
Always
Remember
if
one
customer
is
dissatisfied
you
are
losing
10
other
prospective
customers.
